For starters; this hotel is beautiful. Such a different experience from a regular hotel, it helps you emerge into the culture. The rooms are small but sooo beautifully decorated, I felt like a princess. The breakfast is okay, but I loved the piano mornings. Their service was AMAZING and the Fado Night soooo memorable from the singer, the musicians and the amazing server and host. Hotel is very calm too. Location is perfect. Walking distance to great places and close to remarkable sights. I will definitely come back here the next time I’m in Lisbon.

A TRULY wonderful experience! Roman bath with sauna had good ambience (you do need to book a timeslot), wine tasting downstairs was pretty good. The decor is stunning and immersive, so many paintings and ornate furniture. The staff were all kind, professional, and eager to help. The breakfast though.... Breakfast was to die for. HUGE spread. Delicious options, and they'll whip you up a coffee after you load your plate and sit down - I recommend the latte(and I'm NOT a latte person)! AND AND they always have live music during. When we were there it was a pianist with a violinist accompanying every other day. *Lovely* I hope to go back one day!
We had a wonderful stay in this hotel and can recommend it strongly. It is situated perfectly for sightseeing, restaurants and streetcars. The rooms are spacious and with beautiful furniture, the breakfast wonderful and on most days accompanied by very professional live music. The garden behind the Palacio is very nice for breaks or in the evening for a last glass of wine. All the employees were extremely friendly and caring. We will surely come back to this very special place!
Fantastic hotel! More than a place to sleep, it was an experience of its own. Make sure to book in your time in the Roman bath (in the evening is lit by candlelight). Bed and pillows were the best we've had in a hotel. Included breakfast was excellent (though I did go round the corner to 'Fabrica Coffee Roasters' for a Melbourne style latte). Book yourself an airport transfer through the hotel, and ask for Bruno, he was amazing, was more than a transfer, he gave an amazing history of Lisbon linked to landmarks that you pass on the way.
An incredibly unique hotel that transports you back to the times of 19th-century aristocracy. Every space has its own distinctive style, from the rooms, to the dining areas, to the corridors and even the “hidden” corners (it’s actually worth getting a bit lost while exploring the hotel). There’s also a beautiful signature scent throughout the entire property that adds to the experience. The breakfasts are delicious and varied, made even more special by live music played on piano and violin. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and on request they’re happy to help organize special events for unique occasions. The only small downside is the size of the bathroom, even in a superior room it was quite small and not the most comfortable to move around in. Still, this doesn’t take away from the overall impression, which is excellent.
