On/set Alfama - Lisbon Cinema Apartments

I work in hospitality in Dubai and I almost never write public recognitions of this kind. I do so only when a stay is genuinely exceptional, not merely pleasant. Our stay at On/Set Alfama — Lisbon Cinema Apartments was exactly that, and Rui Pedro was instrumental to its success. The apartments themselves are well conceived: cinema-themed studios in the heart of Alfama, scrupulously maintained, properly equipped, and placed a short walk from the Castle, Portas do Sol, and the Tram 28 line. That is the product. What converts a good product into a 9.9 rating — the kind of score that actually drives booking volume in this category — is people. Rui Pedro is the pillar of that score. He is anticipatory rather than reactive, available without being intrusive, and commercially intelligent in the way he handles guests: local guidance, fast problem-solving, and the small, well-timed gestures that make a guest feel looked after rather than processed. In our industry those are not soft extras. They are the difference between a one-time stay and repeat demand. I regard him as an asset to the business development of this property, not simply as a capable host. We will definitely return.

Excellent modern apartment to a very high standard. Very central for Alfama with trams, shops and restaurants very close by. Communication was clear, the team and Anastasia were all lovely.

We recently spent three nights at the ground-floor O'Patio apartment for our honeymoon, and the experience completely surpassed our expectations. From the very beginning, our host, Rui Pedro, was exceptional. He shared invaluable information before our arrival and took the time to call us upon check-in to ensure we were comfortably settled, remaining enthusiastically available 24/7. ​The hospitality was truly standout. We were welcomed with a bottle of chilled wine, and it was the small, thoughtful touches that made our stay so special. We were provided with a beach bag packed with towels and water, and the daily sweet treats left for us were an amazing surprise! Every detail was considered, right down to the daily replenishment of coffee pods and milk. ​The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and felt incredibly safe and secure. We cannot fault our time here in any way and would 100% recommend staying here to anyone visiting Lisbon!

Absolutely one of the best stays of my life. Amazing location and service over the top. Pedro the host has been extremely helpful and kind and made us feel at home. There are very few places with this services level…not even 5 stars hotels. I totally recommend this place!
