I'm not a fan to be very honest I booked to rooms with a sofa bed got 2 rooms no sofa bed. Asked for water was told drop it up no one ever did. The street is full of other nationalitys that it felt run down the area and not very safe we where attacked 2 times got away safely on that street.
My stay at this apartment was unfortunately very disappointing. The location was also a major letdown. The surrounding area felt unsafe, particularly in the evenings. There were groups of men loitering nearby and a noticeable presence of individuals who appeared to be using drugs right outside the building. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere and left both me and my female friend feeling unsafe when walking to and from the apartment, especially due to the persistent staring we experienced. The shower base was cracked and uneven, making it unstable to stand on and extremely noisy. The apartment itself was very basic and did not resemble the photos advertised. It would benefit greatly from modernisation and some thoughtful interior design. As soon as you turn the corner towards the apartment, the environment feels run-down and unwelcoming. I strongly believe the owners should consider a different location, one that feels safer, more family‑friendly, and more reflective of the Lisbon experience most travellers expect. Overall, I would not recommend this property based on my experience.
WARNING ! For those whose planning to book/stay in this place, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN and book somewhere else safer. I booked there and when we were there we run away! Really not safe. What makes me laugh when the costumer service told me that it ranked as one of the SAFEST CITIES IN THE WORLD. What a joke. Too bad I didn’t took a picture in the neighbourhood because we run as fast as we could. Really not recommended to stay especially for those who travel alone or women.
Please read if you are planning to stay here!! This place is on a very noisy street, from around 12pm the noise gradually ramps up to an extreme at around 7pm lasting until gone 1am. We were unable to sleep, and when we did it was very broken. Long and short, the street is filled with takeaway kebab shops and all the delivery drivers jam the street end to end and talk very loudly all through the evening and night. My girlfriend was afraid to leave the apartment by herself as due to the number of people there, it felt very unsafe for her. The apartment itself is fine for the money, but if you are in any way sensitive to noise, or a solo female traveller, then please stay far away from this place and the general area.
DO NOT STAY HERE! Extremely bad location, unsafe surroundings, horrible customer service, and the property looks nothing like the pictures. I had requested to cancel this booking as I was traveling with a baby and arriving at 1 AM, but my cancellation was denied. I had no choice but to go, and the experience was terrible. I had to check out the same day. There were prostitutes and large groups of men from various backgrounds hanging around — something that is not disclosed in the description of the location. Our driver had to wait for us to safely enter the building because of how unsafe it felt. During check-out, a person came to confirm we had left — along with a cleaning lady — because they had already booked the same place again! I was told I would be refunded for the remaining nights. But when I contacted the property, they apologized and claimed they cannot control what happens in public spaces around the property — and therefore, I would not be refunded. There is clearly a reason why it’s marked non-refundable, and it’s a scam. We paid almost €700 for this place and had to switch to a far better accommodation — refundable, safer, and kid-friendly — for only €450. BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!
