A good stay in the heart of Lisbon I really enjoyed my stay at Lisbon Art Stay and would give it 4 stars. The location is excellent. It’s right in the heart of Baixa, with many of Lisbon’s main attractions, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. For a city break, it’s hard to ask for a better location. I also really liked the character and design of the hotel. It’s colourful, artistic and has a personality of its own, which makes it much more interesting than a generic hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful overall, and I had a positive experience with them. The room was good and comfortable, although nothing particularly outstanding. It had everything I needed, but the room itself wasn’t a highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, breakfast was one of the weaker points for me. I found the selection and overall quality rather disappointing, especially compared with the rest of the hotel. It’s an area where I think there is definitely room for improvement. The rooftop is a real highlight, though. It has a great atmosphere and lovely views, and it’s a very nice place to spend some time during the stay. Overall, I liked the hotel and especially appreciated its fantastic location, unique character and rooftop. There are a few areas that could be improved, particularly breakfast, but I still had a good experience overall.

When we arrived, the hotel was dealing with an issue affecting the air conditioning. We had booked a family room, but for the first night we were upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment while the air conditioning in our original room was being repaired. We really liked both apartments - they were beautifully designed and each had two (or even three) bathrooms, which was extremely convenient for our family. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was plentiful. Coffee one morning was miserable, but we were offered espresso, which was very kind.
We loved our stay! Perfect location, comfortable and quiet rooms, friendly and helpful staff - everything was amazing. Definitely visit the rooftop bar, Ruby Rosa. Amazing drinks, great vibe, nice view.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were unique, stylish, and very comfortable. The location was perfect—right in the city center and within walking distance of all the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. A special thank you to Bia at the reception. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. Thanks to her assistance, everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. She made us feel welcome and was always ready to help with recommendations and any questions I had. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!
Pros: - great location - rooftop bar has nice views. Cons: - definitely didn't feel like a 4 star hotel - our room's decor was simply cheap looking wallpapers and random pillows to make it look like a boutique hotel. Lighting conditions in the bathroom was also poor. - Air-conditioning didn't work during peak summer!! Poor ventilation in the corridors and rooms means you'll be in a Sauna. - Its understandable that technical issues happen but there was zero proactiveness shown by the staff to help alleviate the issues. There was no concrete timeline given on when the issue could be fixed, it could be 2hrs or 1day according to them. No offer for compensation of some sort was proposed. - After going back n forth with them for more than 5hrs, they gave us a table fan. Could this have been done earlier avoiding all this conflict? Probably yes. - The lady at the reception with the scarf was also pretty cold during check-in and check out.
