Loved our stay at intercontinental Lisbon. Rooms r clean modern. Breakfast is great. Amazing staff from valet to front desk to room. Breakfast is a great spread where u can order omelettes. We also tried the Akla restaurant the service very slow took an hour to get our food and it was ok nothing special. We also tried the room service and food was really good. Located across a beautiful park. Very convenient and the area is pretty safe. Will stay again if visiting Lisbon.
We loved our stay at Intercontinental Lisbon. Rooms are spacious for international traveler. Views are great, front desk team is helpful. We stayed there through Amex travel and the front desk team not only gave us early check in but also gave us full 100 euros (not adjusted dollar to euros) to spend. They also reminded us when we had not utilized the entire credit. Breakfast had good options. Special call out to housekeeping team, they did a great job and always attended on time when we had to ask for daily ice to address a body swelling. We would highly recommend the hotel. Super impressive. From the start the lobby was spotless and nicely decorated with fresh flowers. Staff were genuinely friendly throughout - both at reception and at the bar, and the room was spotless. The AC worked perfectly. I was upgraded to a river view room, which was a nice bonus. The location sits on Avenida da Liberdade and apparently Cristiano Ronaldo's penthouse is a couple of doors down, according to my Uber driver, which seems about right for the area (i.e. it's very upscale). The nearest metro (Marquês de Pombal) is around a ten minute walk and puts you on a direct line into the old town and Bairro Alto. The Estufa Fria botanical garden is right across the road and well worth an hour of your time! The one caveat: the WiFi was unreliable and streaming to the in-room TV didn't work. Staff mentioned that new TVs had just been installed and there were teething issues. 5G on my phone worked though, and everything else was so good that it didn't feel fair to knock a star off for what is a temporary and easily fixable problem.
This hotel is always fantastic, as usual! But I want to give a special shoutout to the staff, especially Orlando with Concierge! Orlando was amazing. He gave us the best info and helped us book tours and restaurants. He was always there for us! Such a great guy! I also want to thank Ramesh for being so helpful and making us feel welcome. Dafindeer was also excellent! Sorry if I misspelled his name.
Everyone was super friendly and nice and professional. The hotel was nice but nothing super fancy. The rooms were big and the bathrooms were spacious. I liked the amenities and the location of the entrance to the hotel is facing the park so literally right outside the hotel is the wonderful park. Breakfast was ok too. We took Ubers and the tube to get to central. But there are many good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
