Hotel Mundial

Hotel location was excellent, very close to everything. Super convenient! We will staying 4 nights. We got brand new room with front park view , service was super excellent. Received welcome gift / small wine, 2 small Pastel de Nata and 2 complementary free drink .

We loved this hotel! The location is very central and also right beside a metro station if you want to go further a field. Tram 28 goes from outside also. The staff were all so friendly. The rooftop bar is stunning. Lovely breakfast. Nice big rooms. Really can’t fault it. I will definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mundial in Lisbon at September 11 to September 18 2026! From the moment we arrived, the service was friendly, attentive, and professional. Everything we asked for was taken care of, and we truly appreciated how accommodating the staff were. We had specifically requested a king-size bed, and our request was happily fulfilled. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping service was excellent. We also really enjoyed the breakfast. Everything was fresh, tasty, and well prepared. The hotel’s location is another big plus — it was very convenient for exploring Lisbon and getting around the city. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and left with a very positive impression. We stayed at Hotel Mundial for two nights and paid €296 for our stay. Overall, we had a good experience, although there were both very positive aspects and some that could definitely be improved. First of all, I would like to highlight the cleanliness. Both the common areas and our room were spotless. The housekeeping staff deserve special recognition because they keep the hotel exceptionally clean. The room we were given was clean, tidy, and in good condition. In addition, most of the hotel staff were very friendly and professional throughout our stay. However, we had a very negative experience at the rooftop with a staff member named Irina. Her attitude towards us was very unpleasant and it completely ruined our afternoon and the sunset experience, which was one of the things we were most looking forward to enjoying at the hotel. As for the rooftop bar, the cocktails were excellent. The bartender who prepared them did a fantastic job, and they were some of the best cocktails we had. However, we felt that the food prices were far too high for the quality and quantity offered. We also noticed that a 7.5% service charge was automatically added to every bill at the rooftop bar. As hotel guests, we were entitled to a 20% discount at the rooftop bar, but we had to remind the staff every single time for it to be applied. If we didn't mention it ourselves, the discount was simply not applied, even though we were staying at the hotel. Another disappointing aspect was the area around the hotel. The square directly in front of the hotel did not feel pleasant, especially in the late afternoon and evening. During our stay, we saw several people openly using drugs, and the overall atmosphere made us feel unsafe, so we did not feel comfortable walking around the area at those times. Overall, we would stay at the hotel again if the price remained around the same. However, the main reason we chose this hotel was because of its rooftop. Since the rooftop is also open to people who are not staying at the hotel, we would probably just visit the rooftop as regular customers rather than book the hotel again.
