Excellent location. In the heart of the city with no traffic noise as the road is closed to the traffic due to cave in in the past. Although a tram runs on this road. Staff is suoer friendly but a lot deserves on the breakfast. It's too repetitive. Mr Prdro was a gem. Took us on a walking tour of the city for 2 hrs and was very fruendly. Rooms are super tiny. Overall a good stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel da Baixa and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Lisbon. From the moment I booked, the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and responsive. Any questions I had before arriving were answered quickly by email, which made planning my trip much easier. Throughout my stay, everyone I encountered was warm, welcoming, and eager to help. The hotel itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The location is also excellent, as it’s right in the heart of Baixa and within walking distance of so many of Lisbon's highlights. I especially want to recognize Pedro, the Guest Services Manager. I had the pleasure of seeing him most mornings at breakfast, and he consistently went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. His kindness, warmth, and generosity were much appreciated and set the tone for each day. It's clear that he takes great pride in creating an exceptional guest experience. Thank you to Pedro and the entire team for making my first solo trip to Lisbon such a memorable one. I look forward to returning.
We checked in late at night, and the staff was friendly, quick, and welcoming. The hotel is also in a great location, lots of things in walking distance The room itself, however, wasn't quite what we expected. Our specific room had a steeply slanted roofline that essentially cut the usable space in half—I even bumped my head a few times. On the plus side, the bathroom was spacious and nicely updated. Great service and location overall, but the room layout left a bit to be desired. It might just be a quirk of our specific room, but I'd recommend double-checking your room type if low ceilings are a concern for you.
This is an absolutely lovely hotel in a great location. The rooms are clean, airy, and welcoming. A perfect blend of modern updates and classic charm. The downstairs bar is cozy, with excellent service. Across the board, the service was excellent and we felt very welcome. We stayed in Lisbon for a few days, then continued on to Porto. On our way back, our flight home was canceled and in the midst of re-booking flights, etc. I immediately hopped on the Hotel da Baixa website to check availability. We were very lucky to get a last minute room, and staying there made our delay feel like a treat rather than a hassle.
Fabulous hotel with great staff. We loved everything about our stay. Wonderful location with dozens of restaurants in the vicinity. Beautifully appointed room with luxurious marble bathroom. We had a deluxe Pom facing the pedestrian street which included a separate sitting area and a double shower. Staff are fabulous, breakfast is very complete and delicious. Especially the omlets. Complimentary nespresso coffee 24 hours as a nice touch. We will be back!
