Perfect location for a short or long stay in Lisbon. The hotel is more of an upper class guest house. The rooms are large, comfortable with stunning views of the city. Staff couldn’t have done more for us. 5/5 and we will be back.

A truly amazing experience from start to finish. The room was spacious and adorned a stunning view of the city. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to help make our visit to Lisbon special. Breakfast arrived every morning at a time of our choosing and was a spectacular way to start the day. We found that it set us up greatly for a day of adventures. Other reviews may mention noise and a lack of lift but this says more about that individual than this special hotel. Neither of these were remotely an issue. I really can't wait to return in the not too distant future.
Exceptional service! They assisted with car transportation, private guide / tours, and anything else we needed. The location in Lisbon is ideal. Everything is with in walking distance and the area was great. Breakfast served in our room each morning far exceeded any hope. Absolutely delicious! We like smaller more boutique style hotels as they have more personality. This hotel was a total win. Least I not forget… the rooms were spacious, clean, and great long hot showers. Highly recommend.
Staying at the Palace Chiado was one of the nicest experiences that we have had in our travels through Europe. The palace was well renovated so that the elegant and historic features remain. We stayed in Room #9 and enjoyed the beautiful view of the palace from one window and the cathedral from the other. The breakfast was pure luxury - brought to our room each morning at the time that we designated with far more food and deliciousness than we could consume in one sitting. In addition to all of the above, the staff were incredibly friendly, gracious and always ready to help. Claudio was amazing. When he discovered that we were going to visit Porto and interested in doing some port tastings, he researched many options and provided us a lengthy summary which he did on his own time and then sent via the hotel system. He was always there to warmly greet us in the evening when we returned to the hotel. Also, it was my birthday on the last day of the stay and he noticed my birthdate when I checked in with my passport. The morning of my birthday there was a small chocolate cake and a birthday card from the staff on our breakfast cart. It was very touching. My only warning is that you will be spoiled by the staff and elegant surroundings and it will be very hard to leave.
Dear Lisbon Palace Chiado is now one of my favorite hotels, we had a wonderful stay! The suites are huge with beautiful windows and a great bathroom and shower. The towels are great and the room was very clean and made up each day for us. The breakfast really sets this place apart - it is en suite and has so many options, we looked forward to it every day! I am missing those cappuccinos! Robes and slippers were provided as well as a hair dryer, shampoo, and body wash. Conditioner and lotion are not. The location of the hotel is also perfect, walkable almost anywhere you want to go with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants around. Because of this you can hear some street noise but it wasn’t bad for us. They can also arrange an airport pick up which was nice. Would 100% stay here again!
