A wonderful experience at BessaHotel Liberdade! I was given an excellent room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the park, which made my stay even more special.
The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional. I especially appreciated that, after checking out, they allowed me to stay at the hotel a bit longer and enjoy the pool before leaving.
The food in the hotel restaurant was also excellent. I had the octopus with vegetables, and it was truly delicious.
The hotel boasts a great location, a pleasant atmosphere, and service that makes you feel welcome. I would gladly stay here again and certainly recommend it!
Bessa is such a great hotel! The staff was lovely, the breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and spacious, the pool area was very fun, and the location was perfect for us! We arrived early in the morning, and our children were exhausted. They did their best to get us into our room before check-in so the kids could rest. To me, that is going above and beyond. We loved the "family room" for our family of four. It was perfect. We had a beautiful view overlooking Avenida da Liberdade. The pool was a great place for our kids to unwind after walking around in the city all day. The breakfast was perfect and delicious. When we return to Lisbon, we will absolutely be staying back at Bessa. Thank you for a great stay!
Had a great 5 night stay here. We had some issues on check in with twin rooms which needed 2 beds. Mario Malta was excellent in helping resolving this. He spent sometime juggling rooms and made our stay very welcome. The hotel itself is in a great spot, with a tidy pool and facilities, staff like Mario made our stay memorable.
When the transportation strike unexpectedly canceled all of my flights last week, what was supposed to be a short stay in Lisbon turned into four extra days. Fortunately, I booked a three-night stay at The Bessa Hotel, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience.
The hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and exactly what I needed during a stressful travel situation. A special thank you to Martim at the front desk, who made my stay truly memorable. From check-in through departure, he consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. He even helped me navigate a minor key card mishap that eventually became something we could laugh about together.
Martim's professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care for guests are a reflection of the outstanding hospitality at The Bessa Hotel. What began as an unexpected extension to my trip ended up being one of the highlights of my time in Lisbon.
My last meal at the Hotel Restaurant was incredible. I had the most incredible interaction with the service staff regarding a hoodie I bought at the market outside that day. The hoodie represented saving the bee population and mental health awareness. I forgot the gentleman's name at the restaurant, but we connected on. so many levels, really putting a nice conclusion on my trip!! The Steak, Salad and Rice were amazing!!
I will absolutely be staying at The Bessa Hotel on my next visit to Lisbon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional service and a wonderful guest experience.
Service needs to get better. Acknowledge people when they are coming. Restaurant staff is not the best at all. I enjoyed the food though. Burger was not the best.
Octopus was good as well as the prawns.
If I come to Lisbon, I will return to the hotel because of the design. Not because I had a good service.
There was a guy who worked at the restaurant on Thursday. I did not get his name. He was very friendly. He was off friday, Saturday and back sunday. He is a keeper.
