We had a wonderful stay. Greeted with a warm welcome and a slightly earlier than expected check in. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the beautiful views over the harbour and river. The, Spa and roof top terrace are the perfect places to relax.
We have had a wonderful stay here at Altis Belém, beautiful surroundings our room had a perfect view too over looking the marina, very spacious clean rooms and comfy bed! The staff were all very helpful friendly and couldn’t do any more than they did for you! The extra special treat they did for my husbands birthday in our room made our stay feel very special! We had a wonderful few days at this hotel on our trip that included Portugal a couple of years ago. Our room had glass pocket doors covering the wall facing the harbor...I opened them as often as I could...wonderful air flow, excellent views out of the other window as well. The hotel is located a short walk from the Monasterio across the street. The line to get in was rather long but it did move along...while we survived the sprinkling rain. We were (generally) celebrating a wedding anniversary and treated ourselves to a wine pairing multi-course meal in the restaurant in the hotel. It was excellent and educational as the sommelier taught us a bit about the wines he recommended. We will/would stay there again if the opportunity presents itself and we recommend others consider it if they are in the area.
I want to take a moment to compliment Diane, Supervisor of the front desk. She went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. There was an issue w the water at the hotel and our third night needed to be moved to the Altis Alvenida. Diane made sure that it the process was seamless and the room was exceptional. This hotel is very lucky to have such an incredible staff member.
My wife and I recently had a wonderful stay at Altis Belém and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very modern, with a balcony overlooking the Tagus River – the perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning waterfront views. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring Belém’s cultural attractions, with excellent bus and tram connections providing easy access to central Lisbon and the rest of the city. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service. Every member of staff was welcoming, attentive, and always willing to help. A special thank you to Hugo, Ricardo, Pedro, Iris, Maura, and Alessandro, who all contributed to making our visit so memorable. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes and traditional Portuguese pastries. The waterfront bar and restaurant were equally impressive, offering high-quality dining in a beautiful setting overlooking the river. A particularly memorable moment came on our final morning. After mentioning how much we had enjoyed the hotel’s coffee throughout our stay, Hugo very kindly surprised us with a gift of the coffee to take home. It was such a thoughtful and generous gesture and perfectly reflected the hospitality we experienced from the entire team. Thank you to everyone at Altis Belém for such a fantastic stay. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon.
