Itinerary
We will meet the Bohemian District of the City. We will cross the famous Bridge of Sighs and appreciate Central Park.
Discover the fascinating Site Museum of Pachacámac, located inside the Archaeological Sanctuary. On display here are more than 290 original pieces of ceramics, wood and textiles, carefully preserved to reveal the greatness of the ancient civilizations that inhabited this sacred place. Among its most outstanding treasures is the imposing Idol of Pachacámac, a sculpture revered for centuries by the pre-Hispanic peoples of Peru.
Explore the impressive Archaeological Sanctuary of Pachacámac, one of the most important ceremonial centers on the coast of Peru. This ancient pre-Inca and Inca complex is made up of temples, pyramids and sacred streets built with adobe and stone.
After touring the temples and pyramids, we will ascend to the highest part of the archaeological complex, where the majestic Temple of the Sun is located. From this privileged point, visitors can enjoy a spectacular view of the Lurin Valley and the Pacific Ocean, a perfect setting to appreciate the magnitude of the sanctuary and take unforgettable photographs. This place, full of history and ancestral energy, invites you to connect with the deep spirituality of ancient Andean cultures.

Everything went smoothly and guide was very informative. Fascinating site
Great way to spend half a day in Lima. The city itself does not have any major attractions, so seeing a bit of the vibrant neighborhoods and sampling of some highlights along with a trip a little outside Lima was very rewarding. Our tour guide, Gaby, was very enthusiastic and proud of the city/culture, and made sure she shared it with us. She kept her enthusiasm until the end.
Includes a short stop at Barranco which I hadn’t appreciated. 30 mins drive to the site after all the pick ups. The tour is good but the minibus is not fit for purpose, esp given the amount of travelling on dangerous very busy roads.
It was very nice and gaby was very knowledgeable
Very good trip organised by our very knowledgable tour guide.
This was an ok experience. A lot of time in the car. Huaca pucllana was far more interesting, in my opinion.
Excellent. Jennifer was an amazing guide and organised the whole thing including picking us all up and doing the whole tour in both English and Spanish! It really was a fascinating visit.
Our guide was amazing! Very informative and easy to understand. She even provided commentary on our drive that gave me a much better appreciation for current Peruvian culture. The site itself was very interesting, especially the fact that multiple civilizations had contributed to building on the site. I only wish we'd had a little more time to explore the museum!
All very good except the fact that our bus was not allowed to drive up the hill to the Temple of the Sun. 3 people went by foot and the rest was waiting for them.
Our tour guide, Mario, was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and so ready to answer any questions. He gave such great commentary everywhere we went. Pachacama was incredible. You get to go through the museum first and then walk through the actual ruins including getting an amazing view from the top. Highly recommend!
Great tour, very interesting and educational. Our guide Mario was very knowledgeable and sociable. His descriptions and information were very well delivered. The ruins are very interesting. Highly recommend for a half day tour.
Super Mario was an excellent tour guide! Extremely knowledgeable and kind, very entertaining. 10/10 experience!
Good communication. Nice price. Definitely it's worth to do in Lima
Good trip. Communication was good with pick up tgrom our airbnb. Pamela pur guide was very knowledgeable. Answered questions as well.
The drive out took a while but it was absolutely worth it. I love ancient history and being able to be this close to something like this was quite the experience
It’s very interesting tour. The tour guide Jenifer is very helpful and knowledgeable that makes the tour experience worth seeing.
Pamela was a fabulous guide with a wide range of knowledge. Her approach was friendly . Highly recommend her as a guide
A wonderful private tour to Pachacamac and its museum, with a pleasant stop in Barranco on the way back. Pachacamac is a fascinating archaeological site, once an important pre-Inca and Inca religious centre, and the museum helps bring the history of the place to life. The views over the desert landscape and the Pacific coast were truly impressive. Both the guide, Manuel, and the driver, Armando, were real professionals. Manuel shared a wealth of knowledge in a clear and engaging way, while Armando made the whole journey smooth and comfortable. I highly recommend this private tour to anyone interested in history, archaeology, and seeing a different side of Lima.
Very nice tour :) recommended
I really enjoyed this trip. It was very convenient because I only had a few hours left in Lima and I really wanted to see Pachacamac sanctuary. They picked me up from my hotel and even left me in a different place I requested. Pamela, the guide, was very knowledgeable and very accommodating. It was amazing to see how she managed to do the presentations in two languages, while maintaining the passion for the subject. If you are interested in history and archeology, I highly recommend this tour.
Very professional and highly recommended
Almost impossible to book on line. Had to eventually get help from the ‘ chat line’ Even filling in this review is impossible. None of the instructions work
All Spanish-speaking people and I selected English
the tour was full of information from beginning to end, very interesting the guide was very knowledgeable and was easy to understand
We had a great experience, thankyou for having us!
Was a very nice trip! Learned a lot about Inca and Pre-Inca culture
A awesome experience!!! We loved.
Great tour and accommodations were made for my disability. Highly recommend Diana as a guide!
Our guide Mario was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He made the tour enjoyable and interesting from start to finish. We learned a lot and had a great time. Highly recommended — gladly again!
Mario is very passionate about his culture and heritage. The tour was fantastic and I can recommend it to anyone.
Mario was a great guide ! I recommend
We had a great time. Pamela was knowledgeable and passionate about her job, ensuring we were well taken care of. Definitely recommend this your tour to see these ruins.
This was a most enjoyable tour. Our guide, Mario was top notch. So entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. The tour included going through the museum where we had so many interesting things presented to us about the history and culture of the archeological site and the peoples who lived there. After the tour we went completely around the entire site learning facts and legends. Mario was very engaging and made everyone feel welcome. Shout out to our driver Armando who navigated the trip with crazy skill. I highly recommend this tour.
Pamela was a very knowledgeable guide. A great experience!
Pamela was an excellent and knowledgeable guide, I would highly recommend this for a light casual half day activity in Lima.
Very knowledgeable. Learned a lot
excEllente - great tour - excellent tour guide - lots of value for what was paid
Mario was a very knowledgeable and accommodating guide. He helped complete some knowledge gaps we had about history and culture from previous weeks touring. Highly recommended
Brilliant whistle stop tour. Very friendly and informative guide Jennifer and driver imondo. Would definitely recommend
Ernesto was a very good Driver and Willian a very nice Tourguide. I had a lot of fun. You learn a lot of the history and culture of Lima. I can recommend the Tour.
The day of the tour was perfect. Mario the guide was super informative (Super Mario). He had a way of telling his stories and passing information in a very fun and engaging method. A great story teller. I learned more than I expected and will retain more than just going to a museum. Recommend you have the same experience.
The place was an excellent reminder of Peru’s past and how it became to be. Roxana, our tour was very good in giving us insights of Lima’s past.
Very interesting site of several ruins from different archaelogical periods, and small museum, with knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. Initial trip around Barranco a bit of a mismatch, but pleasant.
Logistics are great, but it was the beginning of Easter someday weekend and that traffic was hell. The driver did a really good job of Alter rounds. Everything went fine. At the site there was an Inkhen ceremony going on for some political activity probably the election, but it was nice to the score of people of me holding costumes. This area I had pre-Inca use but was mainly developed by them culturally religiously economically, etc. we enjoyed the trip. Jose knew his business and explained a lot in the museum. He also, nicely, made accommodation for seniors. Cheers
Highly recommended tour! Professional and timely pick up and introduction. But what made this tour unforgettable to me was Oswald, the tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable and both approachable and funny. He made sure everyone was comfortable and engaged in the topics he presented. We even received a very solemn blessing from Pachacámac God by ruins of the temple of the sun at the very end of the tour!! It was an unforgettable experience. Thank you! Izabela
Absolutely loved it. Highly recommended
Excellent transportation, the guide was very knowledgeable and attentive, the museum is something you should not miss, and the ruins are interesting. It was very beautiful to learn about the pre-Inca history. Highly recommended.
Very impressive archaeological site of prehispanic sanctuary. Museum very well prepared. Interesting and educational experience thanks to our amazing guide Mario. He explained everything in details, knowladgeble and with humor. Well manged time schedule. Comfortable air-conditioned bus, very polite and helpful driver.
Amazing, very educative experience. Impressive site of precolombian sanctuary and oracle place. Very vast and monumental. Was put a lot of effort for restoration prices, but still maintaining it's atmosphere of antiquity. Admission price was included. Trip run smoothly and timely. Small group and place not crowded. Of best value was Mario, our amazing guide. Very competent and knowledgeable, enthusiastic and talented storyteller.
