The Nazca Lines & Huacachina Oasis From Lima (Private)

This was such an incredible day outside of the city! We were picked up very early but it’s so worth it. Jonathon and Jason were extremely friendly and accommodating. The private car was very comfortable and we were able to get some sleep in before arriving at our first destination. Everything was handled for us, and we were put on a Nazca flight in no time. It seemed like others that booked it themselves were doing some back and forth - so everything was truly taken care of! It was so incredible. Then we were taken to a nice restaurant in town for lunch (not included in the price). After that, we were taken to the Huacachina Oasis to go on a dune buggy and sand board! Once again, everything was taken care of ahead of time, and we were on the next buggy out - no waiting at all! It was awesome. The drive back to Lima does take a while, but we got back earlier than I expected. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the Nazca Lines and Huacachina Oasis.

Bucket list item for our Boys Trip. The drive is well worth it. We made the airport middle of day for our flights , then Huacachina to enjoy the sunset and dinner. I must say that the driver and guide are absolutely too notch

Our guide Jan, was an archaeologist and so had some great insights about the Nazca lines. Our two drivers were excellent, each had to drive for approximately 7 hours. It made for a very long day but it was worth it! The Huacachina dune buggy experience was great fun too!

We had a great time at Nazca and Huacachina. Both places were beautiful and unique experiences. The flight is relatively short, the pilots sway over the most important lines and say a few words. The oasis is a wonderful place, the buggy drive is quite exhilarating and action packed. Be aware: it starts super early. We were picked up on time at 4 am. We arrived at 10 pm the same day. It can be tiring and I exhausting. The flight over the Nazca lines is in a cesna, small plane for max of 6 people excluding both pilots. The flight is a bit unnerving, wobbly and can make you feel sick. The buggy drive can get a bit rough at times (but fun all throughout!) The sights are worth it. Overall: Our driver and guide were both absolutely wonderful people and I had a great time all day long. I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience for anyone with a short amount of time and a high curiosity.

The drive to and from Lima was very long but the trip is still very worthwhile! The Nazca Lines are absolutely amazing and the trip was made special by how knowledgeable our guide, Alex was. 5/5 great experience!

Nazca is everything you think it will be! The dunes and oasis near Ica are also amazing and worth the time invested!

Had a great tour with our guide Pamela. We chose the Pisco flight option (rather than the longer overall Nazca flight option). The drive to Huacachina was pleasant, and Pamela gave us excellent information about the country, the countryside, and the areas we were passing through. Huacachina was fun! We arrived early in the day and ours was the first dune buggy out there, so we essentially had the place to ourselves! The flight from the Pisco Int'l Airport was quite pleasant until we reached the Nazca lines. I'm glad we followed Pamela's advice and didn't eat or drink a couple of hours before the flight; otherwise, it would've been unpleasant. Be prepared for steep banking and turbulence over the lines - it's the price you have to pay for the aerial view. After a pleasant sea-side meal in Paracas, the drive back was uneventful despite the usual Lima traffic. An outstanding tour. Thank you, Pamela and Lima Highlights Tours!

What a great trip!! It was an early morning, and a lot of time in the van, but it was so worth it!! The sand boarding and sand buggy was so much fun, and the Nazca lines were fascinating!! Alex was the perfect guide. She was so personal and a wealth of knowledge. She entertained us for most of the trip. I have to give a huge compliment to our two drivers Jose and Rudolfo. It was definitely a challenging drive at times and they were amazing. I highly recommend this tour!!

The adventure starts extremely early (4am). Jonathan, our driver and Susan, our guide did an an amazing job. It was an 18 hour day. Jonathan was a hero with his driving. I can not say enough about him. Flying over the Nazca lines and sandboarding in the dunes are well worth the trip.

My friend and I enjoyed the private full day tour a lot - you get to enjoy viewing Nazca lines up in the air and then afternoon activities of walking around the Huacachina Oasis and sand dune fun activities. Despite a long drive and super early pick up at 350am from Miraflores, our tour guide Lucas and driver Yan(not sure abt spelling) provided us the best experience. The four seater was very spacious and comfortable. Besides basic information about Peru Lima, Lucas gave us details about the Nazca lines and background of the Oasis and answered other questions we had on the road. He was super patient waiting for us to take tons of photos. Nazca line aeroplane could be quite dizzy so | already took some motion sickness preparation pills to help mitigate any potential nausea (the guide will remind u to bring passport for boarding). Then lunch Lucas brought us to a good local restaurant for Peruvian food (price not included in the package) In the afternoon we came to Huacachina Oasis for a short walk followed by Sand dune buggy and sand boarding which were super fun. Just need to take sufficient sun protection as the sun can be quite scorching. Overall, highly recommend this private tour if you have an entire day in Lima as the tour starts from 350AM hotel pick up to 830PM drop off. Highly recommend Lucas as tour guide

It was a long day but Susan our guide was so pleasant and wonderful the entire day. She made sure that we were on time but also that any extra needed stops were made. And our driver, amazing. Smiles all day. It was well worth it.

This was a long journey starting at 3am and ending back in our hotel at 10pm. I have so much respect for the driver and our guide who were amazing from start to finish. Make sure to take Dramamine for the flight! El cerdito for lunch was one of the best meals we had the entire trip. The sand dunes buggy ride and sandboarding were amazing too.

Be prepared for a long long day. I would not recommend for kids. Picked up up 3:30am by the guide. Stop for a quick breakfast and then continued on to the dune buggy ride. This was a lot of fun and helped break up the drive. Be prepared for some additional fun sand boarding. Then a long drive to the airport and a great flight and experience viewing the Nazca Lines, bring your passport. Stop for a fantastic lunch and then the 6 1/2 hour drive back to Lima... I wish there was something to break up the drive on the way back BUT overall a great trip.

It’s hard to use words to describe the exceptional level of service our guides, William and Ernesto, provided to me and my girlfriend. From the moment of pick up, they made sure our safety and comfort were of the utmost importance. On top of their knowledge on local culture/history, William and Ernesto handled the logistics surrounding the 16 hour tour like pros. Not a second felt boring or tiresome. For me, a freebie given of the trip was being able to catch a glimpse into the daily lives of locals on our drive over, something we didn’t get to experience solely within Lima. The Nazca line tour and Dune buggies in Huachachina were the perfect balance of excitement and culture. Truly a once a life time experience. Definitely recommend!

I had a greatest experience with a special guide who has fine kindness and hospitality and a fantastic driver who can drive fast and safe. Almost way of this tour is in a car, it means driver’s skill is very important. I recommend you prepare some cookies and sandwiches for your breakfast and lunch, then you can eat them on the way to next destination, it helps you to come back your hotel early. Of course, you can get some each time you take a rest at gas stations. Anyway, I’m proud of me who decided taking this tour!

The entire experience was so far beyond our expectations, I really have no idea where to start. Our guide, Alexandra, and driver, Alejandro, were terrific - pick-up was punctual, orientation, meticulous and we knew from the start we were in good hands. The flight over the Nazca Lines was incredible - Alex’s tips ensured we got some great photos. The dune buggy trip through the oasis was so much more than I ever expected - watching the sun set over the dunes… priceless. Highly recommended!!!!

19 hours tour!!!! 17 hours in a car with only one stop to buy snacks at a gas station! The Nazca Lines and the buggy at the desert were awesome, but 17 hours in a car for less than two hours of adventure and to eat is not worth it! The “tour guide” was a driver not a guide and didn’t explain anything, he talk for a 15 minutes before the Nazca lines and that’s it.

Our tour guide was William and he picked us up from hotel at 3.45pm on time. The drive was comfortable with enough stops in between for snack and washroom. We stopped at paracas for a while and William has gave us a detail introduction of the paracas and Nazca culture. After arriving nazca, we waited for around 1 hour to get on the flight. We were lucky to get a private jet for 2 passengers only and the flight over nazca lines was awesome! We had lunch after the flight with a restaurant recommended by William. It served peruvian dishes and the food was delicious and reasonbly priced. The dune buggy ride was super fun and like a roller coaster! The desert was vast and looked stunning. The sand boarding was adrenaline driving experience and we got 3 slides, each time with a higher slope. We finished the day by arriving hotel at 9pm. Overall, the activities were nicely arranged and hassle-free. William was friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful. His photo shooting skill was superb! Totally recommended! 😉

The Nazca lines were amazing, the dune buggy ride was wild and exhilarating, boarding down the dunes was so much fun, and the sunset was the icing on the cake!

The tour guide Willian and the two drivers were great. William knows his Peruvian history and had answered my questions throughly and I highly recommend him. The two drivers made sure we got to our destination on time or early enough to enjoy each site. If there was traffic those two pulled through and kicked ass.

It’s a long trip but totally worth it if your time in Peru is tight. We had so much fun in the desert and seeing the Nazca lines from above was a once in a lifetime experience. Our guide was really friendly and we had an excellent driver too.

The tour was an absolutely amazing experience. Our tour guide, Pamela, was very kind and informative about all the different land marks we visited to.

As mentioned in the description, this is a very long distance trip. We were picked up very early in the morning and started our first leg of the trip. We drove a few hours until a rest stop at a cafe that you can buy breakfast if you want. They offer hot drinks and only offer a few pastries - mostly bread, so feel free to pack your own food if you would prefer. We drove a total of 6+ hours to get to our first destination. You can see the glyphs on the side of the mountain, which are really cool. Next we went to the small airport for the Nazca lines. Here we waited two hours to get on a plane. This was pretty frustrating, but you are at the mercy of the airport. They have to match people to your plane - each sits 6 people. And the weight distribution needs to be correct. They at least had an informative video playing. Next we headed to the Huacachina oasis. This was cool to see. The dune buggying is out of the same area. We sat in the front of the buggy. It was very fun and exciting. Ours was the sunset ride by this point. We got some amazing photos. Sandboarding in the dessert was fun for all ages. I would almost recommend bringing a mask and sunglasses for sure, when the wind sprays sand can get in your face. This was a really long day, but overall worth it to see all three stops. We had a good tour guide too.

This was such a long day… it started with a 7 hour drive to Nazca City, then we did the flight over the lines. The flight was tough. We felt so sick and didn’t expect all the tilting. They took us to a restaurant that was pretty good, but it wasn’t included. Then we drove to Haucacina for sand boarding and the dune buggy. That part was pretty fun and we enjoyed that. Then the 7 hour drive back… phew it was exhausting. Our guide was the best, though.

The tour was amazing. Everything went like clockwork. A very long day but so worth it. I can’t say enough about our wonderful driver. Safe, Defensive, Knowledgeable, the car was comfortable and there were plenty of places to stop, Stretch, Get a snack etc…12+ hours in the car we were able to sleep…felt very safe.

An amazing Day!! It is a long day, but Lucas made sure we had plenty of stops for snacks, bathrooms, and food. The Nazca lines were incredible to see! And we had a blast sand boarding and buggying through the sand dunes. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Being picked up from our hotel helped alot. The driver was professional. Our guide was able to help us understand and appreciate the culture and history of the region as well as prepare us for the flight over the lines. The pilot and co-pilot on the flight were able to maneuver the plane to allow all six passengers see the figures and lines. The trip on the dune buggy in Huacachina was exciting and fun. The driver of the buggy helped us enjoy the adventure safely. The tour was well worth the time and price.

Great private tour. Well planned and good use of time, thought it was a long day with a long commute. Guide was excellent and was very knowledgeable. Answered all our questions and went above and beyond.

This was a private tour even if it says small group. Johnathan and Ernesto were fabulous company. Johnathan is extremely knowledgeable and very genuine. Both of them were also very accommodating of our requests. The tour did not feel rushed at any point. The sights themselves are pretty amazing! The flight felt very safe coming from someone who is afraid of flying in small planes.

This is a must-do if you have the time once in Lima! Seeing the Nazca lines from above brings a whole new level and appreciation. The oasis was also a sight to see and absolutely gorgeous and fun.
