Anna was an amazing guide. She was kind and knowledgeable about the art and history of Peru. I highly recommend!
If you’re looking for more than just a walk through an art museum—if you’re seeking a journey that connects you deeply to the heart, history, and humanity behind the masterpieces—then booking a tour with Anna (sometimes noted as Annita) is an absolute essential. From the moment our small group met her in the lobby, Anna’s passion was palpable. She didn’t just introduce herself; she welcomed us with a warm, engaging smile and a genuine curiosity about what had drawn us there. This personal touch set the tone for the entire tour.
This museum has so much to offer. It's better if you have a private guide. I walked around the museum with Ana, a private guide. She is very knowledgeable. She explained all the important details and answered all my questions. I did learn and enjoy a lot. Thank you, Ana.
Ana was an incredible guide! She provided a wealth of historical and artistic knowledge. For two hours, she walked with me, educated me from ancient to modern history. So deeply grateful!
Our guide Anna answered so many questions that we had during our private tour. We learned more than what’s available for you to read on your own. Highly recommend the guided tour!
My guide was Anna, very knowledgeable and friendly, she explained the different different errors of proving cultures and history through the pieces of art and ceramics that she was presenting to me. As we walk through the museum. I learned a lot. + It was a terrific experience. Anna is a wonderful guide
I had tour with Ana, and it was fantastic. Ana was the best tour guide who was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and funny. The best part was her personal background mixed into the national history that brought grand history to ground of the people who lived it.
Anita, the tour guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and helpful, courteous and kind. We had such an informative and amazing experience today.
First of all, on the Sunday morning we had scheduled for the one hour private tour, many of the streets leading to the museum were blocked, making it very difficult to find the entrance, and there is a construction fence blocking access on the west side, but once we found the main entrance on the south side and approached the ticket office, our tour guide, Ana, was waiting for us and greeted us warmly. It really is a private tour! Although Ana has a heavy accent, her English is impeccable and her knowledge of the museum’s collections is astounding. We would have just meandered from room to room, perusing the info wall cards, missing content that pulls everything together. She was patient with and answered all our questions thoroughly, giving us extra time. She is obviously quite proud of her heritage and it shows in the depth of her knowledge.
The private tour with Anna was exceptional. Warm, knowledgeable and passionate about Peru there was not a question she could not answer. She brought the museum alive. A must do tour if going to the del Arte.
Good tour guide and show us very carefull in details. Very good knowledge and attitudes. Need to prepare change/ small money
great experience, rich in culture and information. Highly recommended for any one who honors history, people, and civilization of Peru and Inca
The guided tour with Ana was great. I would recommend a visit to the museum to anyone that visits Lima. If you can, take a guided private tour. Its affordable and brings the exhibited art into the context of Perus history.
Ms. Anna is absolutely wonderful! She is so kind to give the tour in English. We appreciate the beauty and story of each piece in the museum. We will definitely come back! Muchas gracias!
Ana was amazing, her knowledge in explanations about the Peru history and the tour is impactful. I recommends her as a translator English from Spanish and as a tour guide.
I had the pleasure of having Ana as my guide. She provided a very interesting and well informed tour of the art pieces from the various time within the collection of the MALI. I highly recommend seeing the museum with a guide and would welcome an opportunity to book this tour again.

It was a wonderful private tour with a tour guide Ana. Great collection, and well organized. Ana was very knowledgeable and professional
Went on a tour with a small group in the museum. My Spanish isn’t great but my guide Ana helped make the tour comprehensible even though it was mostly in Spanish. A good primer on Peruvian art history.
One of the best museums in Lima and Ana is definitely one one of the best guides we have have had. The first precolombian section of the museum was well described and displayed, and full of surprises with pottery and textiles from every culture from Caral to Inka. The following history showed various curious artifacts.
It wasn't open. You sold me tickets to the museum while it was closed for renovating. I would like my money back.
Very good guide, very beautiful place. A place full of history

For me, Mali is one of the best museums in Peru and is super deserved, each room has a harmonious and beautiful layout to enhance the pieces contained in the museum. Each time you have improvements in lighting and many other areas, it is always a pleasure to visit. I also liked the human talent you find in the museum, the workers are very attentive and the Ana Guide is one of the best guides I had, she explained everything with a lot of passion that infected very good energy. The explanation was excellent, very detailed, very patient. I was delighted with the experience.
