This was so much fun! Tanya was incredibly informative & gave me lots of insights into the Peruvian culture that I have absorbed through food, exploration of ancient sites & textiles. Finishing with the glass of champagne in the Presidential suite was the cherry on top. I’m really happy I was able to contribute to such a rich culture & its preservation through art. I’d recommend this to anyone I care about!

Excellent museum. Arrive early so you don’t miss anything and have plenty of time to explore. Entrance ticket can be paid with credit card. Go ahead and pay extra for the museum guide! Christian was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Peru, the museum artifacts, the more modern art, and even behind the scenes stories and examples. We ran out of town because of our own poor timing but we could have listened to him all day. An excellent museum and guided experience!
Excellent experience! Worth the time to hear what the very knowledgeable curator had to say about some of the paintings. You gain a different prospective after hearing the story behind the paintings. I highly recommend it. You also get a little lesson in Peruvian history.
Ana was amazing, answered all of my questions and gave such detailed information about all of the artwork and sculptures! She is very passionate and excited about her work. Highly recommend
Very knowledgeable curator. Gorgeous museum. Carefully preserved tapestries over 2000 years old. Lovely cafe. Well worth visit. Need to go more than once.
Great collection and guide to the history of Peru. The pieces are in very good shape and also lots of activities and temporary exhibitions. I would definitely be back more than once.
The Curator, Patty, as knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the museum and the pieces on display. The tour lasted over an hour and seemed more like 20 minutes. It was not just a museum tour, but also a fascinating history lesson. This tour is one of those opportunities that seems too good to be true...but it is true. Highly recommended!
Visited the temporary exhibition with amazing pieces of the 1960’s Modern Art scene in Peru. Very well curated, beautiful paintings! The private tour by the Museum’s Director impecable! Recommend visiting the second floor as well where the Museum’s permanent collection is displayed.
Just finished private tour with very small American tour group (Odysseys Unlimited). Excellent, educational collection in beautiful building built for 1872 World’s Fair
A friend and I visited the museum and did a private tour with the curator of a special collection of a famous Peruvian abstract artist Fernando de Szyszlo. It was a wonderful experience. Afterwards we toured their permanent collection. I was impressed on how much work has been put in making the museum an amazing place to visit. A must if you are visiting Lima!
Beautiful museum with the greatest collection of contemporary art in Peru ! Worth a visit. The guided tour was really interesting for some detailed commentaries.
Super valuable experience understanding the art of Peru through our history, a different and recommended perspective. Particular mention to our guide Ana Piscoya, with whom the time was spent flying.
As always it is a luxury to return is special to this truly impressed luxury tour with its large collection of paintings and various pre-Columbian ceramics.
It was quite an experience, very didactic and entertaining. Carlos was very friendly and aroused a lot of our curiosity by telling us details about each of the paintings.
All perfect! The tour was very educational and the guide Carlos was very friendly and knows everything. I recommend it to all Peruvians and foreigners 100%.
I really enjoyed MALI NIGHT, good music, a super calm atmosphere for an after office, very well organized! I recommend it!
The experience was beautiful. Taking advantage of the Incas exhibition (totally recommended and important), we were lucky enough to be invited to Alonso Cueto to talk with the curator Ricardo Kusunoki, about some of the works on display, delving deeper into the context that existed at that time in our history. , and making it very entertaining. Ricardo is a boss.
A nice visit to the museum! The exhibition The Incas, beyond an empire is great. And if that were not enough, we were lucky enough to listen to a delicious conversation between the curators of the exhibition and Alonso Cueto about his new book Francisca.
Incredible take tour with Ana was very detailed explained each of the works in a very didactic and friendly way
Very nice the whole exhibition is amazing the art they can bring to lime, they can't miss it is magical
A very good experience to get acquainted with the culture of Peru and art according to the times. The museum is brand new well distributed. The tour with the guide gives a unique light on the exhibits I recommend
Going to Mali is an extraordinary experience. Visitors have the opportunity to know what is perhaps the most beautiful republican building in Lima, nestled in the Park of the Exposition, surrounded by gardens, fountains and roundabouts very well maintained by the Municipality of Lima. Visiting the permanent exhibition is a pride for Peruvians, not only for the quality of the pieces on display (including magnificent pre-Inca mantles) but for the careful experience that those in charge of the MALI have created for their visitors. I recently participated in a corporate event at their facilities and it was an unforgettable experience. The great spaces of the MALI, under the attentive care of the friendly staff of the Museum, allowed to design and live an experience that managed to combine culture and business. Returning to Mali is always a pleasure.
