Private Tour To The Astonished Nazca Lines And Huacachina Oasis

This was an amazing experience and the perfect way to explore both the Huacachina Oasis and the Nazca Lines in one day. One of the biggest advantages of this tour was the itinerary. We were able to leave at 6:00 a.m. rather than the 4:00 a.m. start offered by many other tours, and we returned just before 8:00 p.m. instead of closer to 10:00 p.m. The day was planned exceptionally well, with regular breaks along the way, so we never felt like we were spending too much time in the car. It was a long day, but it never felt overwhelming. Another major benefit was taking the Nazca Lines flight from Paracas, which saved us from having to spend an additional 6–7 hours driving each way. Felipe and Ronald are fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, and great to talk to throughout the day - they made the entire journey comfortable and enjoyable. Ronald is incredibly informative about Peru and each place we visited, and he took care of every detail, from tickets and taxes to lunch and keeping everything running on schedule. In the Huacachina Oasis we could not have the sand dune adventure – but we went to a reserved area and it was truly amazing!! Thank you, Ronald and Felipe, for this opportunity. The whole experience was amazing. Especially our guide Ronald and our driver Philip. Ronald has a huge knowledge about Perú geography and History, Philip safely and efficiently navigates the road chaos. Sandboarding and riding on the dunes are unforgettable. The flight over Nazca was wonderful, but not suitable for people with motion sickness.

This is the BEST trip from Lima to see both the oasis and Nazca lines. Our driver, Felipe, was incredible at navigating traffic and creating a smooth, pleasant experience. He is also very knowledgeable and helpful and punctual. We enjoyed chatting with him and our guide. Our guide, Ronald, made sure we had a smooth day and was so informative about Peru, about our locations, and handled everything from the tickets to taxes to lunch to making sure we were on time everywhere we went. The itinerary is also phenomenal as we could start at 6:00 am instead of 4:00 am like other tours. We were also back just before 8 pm as opposed to 10 pm as other tours. We never drove for more than a few hours without a break and the day was broken up nicely so we didn’t feel like we spent too much time in the car. Ronald also was our photographer and videographer while we did the sand dunes tour and he did an amazing job capturing the fun of sand dune surfing and the beauty of the oasis. I truly cannot say enough about this experience as my husband and I had the best time. I recommend pants and long sleeves (hiking/sun clothing) for the sand dunes tour to protect against sand and sun. I also recommend a neck gaiter or handkerchief to cover your nose and mouth during the sand dune part. Those were so helpful. The Nazca flight from Paracas City meant we didn’t have to drive 6-7 hours one way to see the Nazca lines. We were able to see 2 major attractions (Huacachina Oasis and Nazca lines) and still only be gone for around 14 hours as opposed to 18+. Some of the group tours of both are actually 2 days which is fine if you have the time. We did not, so this was the best choice for us. Additionally, we enjoyed the visit to the vineyard and the short tour of how the wine and pisco are made. The tastings were fun and informative. The lunch there was very good as well. We had a pisco sour there that was excellent! Truly, this was a remarkable day and worth every bit the amount it cost. When you consider the time saved and the personalized experience, it is absolutely worth it! HUGE thank you to Ronald and Philip (Felipe) for making it a wonderful day! Honestly I could have skipped the Pisco tasting (a bit touristy)- had I known, I am sure the company would accommodate. So , don’t hesitate to ask. Highlight, of course, the Nazca Lines. Once in a life time experience. Be prepared for long drive to and from if you do the tour from Lima.

Felipe and Ronald were absolutely wonderful. Ronald was incredibly well versed in history, geography, and anything you wanted to know about Peru, so if you like an informative adventure it is a must. The car and drive was long but very pleasant. The sand dunes were magical and super fun. The Nazca lines are super interesting, but follow their guide and take some nausea meds if you are probe to motion sickness since the plane will turn a lot. However, Ronald and Felipe are great if you need any time to readjust. Lastly, the winery was amazing aswell. They walked you through the winery explaining the process in english and ribald translated for us in english. Then, we got to taste some wine and play a fun trivia game where I won a free Rosé! Overall, a super fun day with amazing service.

It was long but very informative, great scenery, great thrills on the UTV dune ride and boarding down the dune.

Ronald was the guide and Phillipe was the driver. Both Ronald and Phillipe were excellent and spoke fluent English. The entire time before the over-flight, Ronald explained everything about the history of the Nazca Lines so that I could understand and appreciate what I would be seeing. Ronald made sure that I was taken care of at the airport and was waiting when I got back. The Nazca Lines were amazing. Next we had lunch at a beautiful Oasis restaurant, the meal was not included in the tour which I understood beforehand. After lunch, we went to Huacachina Oasis for a dune buggy ride to where I could do some sand boarding on the Dunes. I did a medium dune which was plenty for me but very fun. Ronald took fabulous pictures and video on me doing the sand boarding. Both Ronald and Phillipe work really hard to make sure that they provide interesting information about their tour and to help in every way possible. I loved spending time with Ronald and Phillipe.

Had an amazing day with tour leader Ronald & driver Carlos. Great service all the way. Ronald was a wealth of information & nothing was too hard. Luckily sat seat 1 in plane, spectacular views! Hint make sure you pop a airsick tablet 1 hour before you fly & don't eat breakfast! The oasis was spectacular & i was taken to a great view point. Dune buggy ride & sandboarding lots of fun. Lunch had at a great restaurant with local wines to try. They were very nice👌 Carlos was a great driver & car very comfortable for the long day driving. Highly recommend this tour!

He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best possible experience. On top of that, he spoke perfect English, which made everything smooth. We were even able to customize the tour to our interests — instead of visiting Pisco Nietto, we opted for the Paracas National Reserve, which was absolutely worth it. The Huacachina oasis and the dunes in the desert were so much fun. And, of course, the Nazca Lines were AMAZING, a true once-in-a-lifetime sight! Incredible day with Felipe and Carlos, guide and driver, where we had the best tour of our 14 days in Peru. We booked the tour last minute after spending a wonderful time in the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco. Felipe made sure we had a great tour in the sand dunes, sand surfing and Pisco tasting. Carlos navigated skillfully on a long journey. The photos from our plane ride were magical. Worth every penny we spent for a private tour.

This was such an incredible experience of a lifetime. We were very comfortable with the driver. He was very good and we felt safe at all times. He was very polite and opened the door for us and he treated us with such kindness. Ronald the guide was soooo fun and very knowledgeable about each of the excursions we went on. The driver at the Huachina oasis was fabulous it was like having our own amusement park and we went Sandboarding. He helped us get on the board and easily explained the process! Ronald is very knowledgeable about the area and its history. We then went a winery that made Pisco a very good Peruvian alcohol. The guide there spoke very good English. He went through the entire process of how you made it and then we got to taste test the pisco. A definite stop for those wanting to find out about Peruvian culture. And the final stop on our trip was an indescribable flight over the Nazca lines. Our trip back to our hotel was filled with laughter and fun. It was amazing how fast your company got this trip together for us. We ordered it on Tuesday and was ready on Saturday. One of our items on our bucket list got checked and was within in our budget. I would recommend it for anyone at any age.

We had a great day with our guide Ronald and driver Wilton. The Van was modern, clean and comfortable, and narration through the journey really useful. The flight, winery tour, buggy ride etc were all perfectly coordinated and seamless. Would do it again in a heartbeat (and Ronald knows a little bit about Aussie sports now too!). The experience was incredible. As it was a private tour there was leeway with how long we wanted to spend at each location. Our Driver Claudio and our tour guide Ronald were so lovely and our trip was made because of them. I would thoroughly recommend this tour and although it may be more expensive than a group tour, the benefit of having flexibility and your own guide outweighs this.

This trip was a long day but extremely worth it. From the greeting at 6am Ronald and Carlos provided excellent knowledge of the areas we travelled through and provided interesting insights into the Peruvian culture and regions. First we experienced the dune buggies and the oasis. This was very enjoyable. Our guide was extremely experienced. We then visited a winery before finishing the day flying over the Nazca lines. It was a 10 out of 10 for the whole trip

Overall great experience! Very timely pick up and they offered to stop along the way to the excursions if we needed the restroom or wanted to buy additional waters and snacks. We had Aoura as our tour guide and she was great and knowledgeable. Claudio was our fantastic driver! Unfortunately due to heavy winds our Nazca tour was cancelled (this is VERY rare) but the tour company was amazing with assisting us and rescheduled the tour the next day inclusive of transportation. They made an unfortunate situation a lot better and could not have been happier with the customer service responsiveness and the professionalism of their employees. Would 10/10 recommend this tour if you want a 1-day desert experience from Lima!

What a wonderful day start to finish with my new BFFs, Ronald and Wilton! Communication by the company prior to the excursion was very good with suggestions and prompt responses to my questions. Tour guide, Ronald, and driver, Wilton, were on time. The vehicle was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. We were provided water and helped in and out of the vehicle. Every effort was made to ensure our comfort. Driver was very safe. Our first stop was the oasis for a sand dune buggy ride. The buggy picked us up right at our vehicle. Ronald provided information about the area and ensure we were comfortable with the speed of the ride. The private tour made sure we were comfortable. The buggy driver was very good and safe. I (at 77 years old) did the sand dune board riding. What a kick!! Once again my safety and comfort were attended to. Ronald our guide took many photos through out the day which made things even more memorable. I highly recommend doing the dune ride and boarding! After lunch and the mandatory pisco tasting 😝 ( although we had so much fun doing this as Ronald and Wilton were adorable and so funny). We headed to the Airport to see the Nasca Lines. Ronald did a great job of providing historical context the the Lines so we could understand and appreciate what we were seeing. The small plane ensures everyone has a window seat and the pilot explains the Lines and turns so everyone has an equal opportunity to fully see the sites. The ride is long and rough (1.5 hours of turbulence and turning) so I wish I had taken Dramamine as it was tough. A bit of time for souvenir shopping at the airport then back to the hotel. What a delightful day…great sites enhanced by a wonderful tour guide, Ronald, and driver, Wilton. Highly recommend this tour, company, guide, and driver!

It's a long and busy day, but definitely worth every second. The Nazca Lines are breathtaking... So intriguing and amazing. It can get tricky to spot all of the lines, but there is a leaflet you can follow to guide you and the pilots will point out the figures your should be looking at. The plane journey is safe and the only real way of appreciating the work done by the ancient civilisation of the Incas (if you believe that theory). The trip to the desert and the Oasis is an adrenaline rush. It's great to go on the sand buggies and to experiment sand boarding. It's so peaceful and nice at the desert, away from the busy cities of Peru. Finally, ending the tour with a nice meal and a wine/pisco tour is just the perfect conclusion forna great day. Our guide, Felipe, was amazing. So knowledgeable, went above and beyond with the details and explanations he provided us. Made the whole tour 100 times better. And our driver, Carlos, was great too. Made us waste no time and always in a safe way. This is a tour that definitely needs to be done, if you want to get a taste of the Peruvian culture and get a sense of the different geography you can find in the country. 100% recommended!

We were picked up on time and taken from our hotel to the Pisco airport, a several-hour drive in a comfortable SUV. Our driver ensured a very smooth and safe drive. During the drive, Felipe provided helpful background information on the Nazca lines. He is very knowledgeable and can communicate complex concepts in a friendly and understandable manner. When we arrived at the airport, he took us to the museum and continued explaining what we would see while we waited to receive our seat assignments on the plane. The Nazca Lines plane flight was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Upon our return, we drove to the Huacachina Oasis. The dune buggy company and driver provided exceptional service, making our dune buggy ride thrilling and memorable. We ate a delicious lunch. We also did a private tasting at the beautiful Tabernero winery, and Felipe ensured we tasted high-end sipping piscos. We had an excellent drive back to our hotel. We highly recommend the tour. It’s more expensive than others because you spend less time (hours) on the road, and the plane flight is more expensive since it’s from a closer airport to Lima. However, it was well worth it! It is a first-class tour.

The entire trip was wonderful! Ronald, our tour guide was probably the most knowledgeable tour guide I’ve had in any country and on any trip. He should be a college professor with his amount of knowledge! I would book a tour, just knowing that he would be the tour guide, because it would be a wonderful and enlightening experience!

What an amazing tour! Even though it was an early start, Ronald kept us entertained and taught us so much throughout the day. This is truly a bucket list trip and an absolute must-do, with so many exciting experiences along the way! Don’t be afraid to go down the dune on a snowboard—it’s an absolute blast!

Expensive but totally worth it! Very professional and organized. Great communication with the company. Very flexible, offered options, since this tour is private for your group only. We saved time by flying to Nazca from Pisco, a 3h drive from Lima, instead of having to drive 7h to Nazca to take the flight to see the lines. Pick up and drop off were both on time. Knowledgeable tour guide and safe driver. Felipe and Wilton made our trip one of the best experiences in Perú.

Tour company cancelled because they claimed "safety reasons" of the aircraft, but we all know it was because not enough people signed up for the tour. They provided a full refund, but it was a pain in the neck to meet up with them because they wanted to give me cash back instead of refunding to credit card.

We had a great experience with Chasky. Even before the trip started they were very prompt in answering all our questions. Filipe is a great guide, energetic, knowledgeable and helpful. He made the trip memorable. They were on time, every time. He saved us lots of time by pre ordering food even before we reached the lunch break destination. The van was clean and very comfortable. They never pushed us for time. Jose our driver was also very courteous. I would highly recommend.

We were lucky enough to be assigned Felipe and Werner - they were absolutely fantastic, very knowledgeable, funny, and excited to share their culture and country with us. There is a lot of driving but you’re never bored and it’s very worth it to see everything included in the tour. One fun warning - the wine and Pisco tour give very generous tasting portions :) We also left a pair of sunglasses in the van and Felipe walked them over to our hotel the following day to return them. Truly above and beyond!

This private tour was exactly what we needed because we only had one day to fit all of the sites we were hoping to get to on our last day in Lima. Felipe was a fantastic tour guide and we were very impressed with his extensive knowledge, not only of the sites we visited, but Peru as a whole. Claudio was our driver and he weighed in quite a bit as well. The private tour option was very flexible. We were able to visit the Huacachina oasis early in the day and avoid the crowds we saw coming in as we were leaving. Anyone who visits Peru must really find a way to sandboard and ride the dune buggies. So fun!!! The Nazca lines were breathtaking and such a treat. Before the flight, Felipe mentioned we should take something for motion sickness because of the sharp turns the airplane takes so that everyone on the flight gets a good view of all the lines. Great call, Felipe! Overall, we had a great time, were comfortable and in good company, which is a plus for such a long day.

The tour was a great experience and Ronny did an amazing job providing a great deal of history and good conversation for the long journey. It is a long day but well worth it. The Nazca lines were definitely the highlight as well as the Pisco tastings and lunch at the winery. Well worth it and highly recommended.

Pick me up at 4:30am, drove six hours, arranged the flyover, able to view the amazing Nazca Lines. Completed the itinerary and back to my hotel after 18 hours. Thank you!

Ronald and Weldon were fun, flexible, and knowledgeable. They were friendly and easy to be with. Ronald has the perfect personality for the job. He was always checking to be sure we were doing what we wanted to do and assessing what would be the best thing for us to do next. The tour was not preset, but accommodated what interested us most. Weldon could drive nascar. Worth every penny

January 16th, 2024, we did a private tour to see the Nazca Lines with Chasky Expedition. They picked us up at our Airbnb in Lima and dropped us back off. We did not do the Huacachina Oasis as we had been before and preferred getting on back to Lima. Have to say this was one of the best tours we have ever done. The Nazca lines just blew us away. You can see pictures online or in a book, but till you actually see them you have no concept of how large they are. If you have the opportunity you need to take this tour. Now, confession, we loved our guide, and we have forgotten his name. But, he was great, just wish I could remember so you would know who to ask for.

A fantastic tour - Huacachina’s dunes are beautiful and a lot of fun to buggy/sandboard on, seeing the Nasca lines from above is absolutely amazing, and the pisco tour was very informative. Jhon is lovely and an excellent guide who you can ask anything about Peru! Our driver was also incredible. A great day and a pleasure all around!

It is a long day, however it has the perfect amount of down time to relax in between the activities. We had such a great time, we booked the rest of our tours in Lima through Chasky Xpedition. This is the best way for a family or small group to enjoy Lima!
