About Activity
Step back in time on this full-day tour to explore Pachacamac, the ancient oracle of Peru. Once the main sanctuary on the central coast, Pachacamac was a place of worship for various civilizations over nearly 1,000 years. We’ll start by touring modern Lima, passing through the districts of Miraflores, Barranco, and Chorrillos, before stopping at the Santo del Fraile rock formation for breathtaking views of the coast. At Pachacamac, we’ll walk through its adobe walls, temples, and plazas, learning about its role as an oracle capable of predicting the future. Afterward, we head to Hacienda Los Ficus, where we’ll dive into Peruvian culture with a showcase of the elegant Peruvian Paso Horse. You’ll witness their graceful movements to music, accompanied by a delicious lunch featuring traditional Peruvian dishes. This tour includes an English-speaking guide, hotel transfers, entrance to the Pachacamac archaeological complex, a tour of the ranch, a Marinera dance, and a Peruvian Paso horse show with lunch.
