About Activity
Discover Lima’s rich history, art, and flavors on this private full-day city tour (10 hours) combining the colonial center, the Larco Museum, and the bohemian district of Barranco. Begin in the Historic Centre, exploring iconic landmarks such as the Plaza de Armas, Government Palace, Cathedral, Archbishop’s Palace, the Convent of Santo Domingo, and the historic Casa de Aliaga, one of the oldest continuously inhabited homes in the Americas.
Continue to the Larco Museum, home to one of the world’s most important collections of pre-Hispanic art, where exquisite Moche ceramics and the famous erotic collection reveal the depth of ancient Peruvian civilizations. Enjoy lunch at the museum café before heading to Barranco, Lima’s most artistic neighborhood.
Stroll through its colorful streets filled with galleries, murals, and colonial mansions, visit the iconic Bridge of Sighs, and explore local art spaces. End the experience at El Cacaotal, where you’ll enjoy a tasting of Peruvian chocolate or coffee while learning about the country’s cacao heritage.
