Natalie was our tour guide and Jorge was our driver. In tandem they provided an excellent tour of Lima. Natalie had an excellent knowledge of Peruvian history, and culture and with Jorge's driving skills we were able to successfully manage our way across the diverse busy landscape of Lima. My biggest takeaway from the day was how diversified the make up of modern Peru is today in terms of ancestry with the Larco Museum and Natalie's historical understanding a highlight. The Incas are merely one of many bloodlines that impacted Peru. With the highlands, the Amazon, the coastal areas there's literally a dozen or so cultures that make Peru the melting pot it is today and I'm the wiser for this tour. Thanks Natalie and Jorge.

Itinerary
Our first stop on the historic city-center portion of our tour. Here we recognize one of Peru's most well-known liberators, Jose de San Martin.
Also known as the St. Francis Monastery in English, the church and convent were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991. The site contains a world-renown library with about 25,000 antique texts and in the catacombs beneath it is estimated that this same number of people were laid to rest. Today you can explore the once hidden passages and observe the uniquely displayed remains of first Limeños.
Here we will spend a few minutes in the heart of Lima. The Plaza de Armas is home to the Presidential Palace, Arch Bishop's Palace, Cathedral and Municipal buildings and can oftentimes be a lively place filled with people and various forms of entertainment.
Built atop a seventh century pyramid, this vice-royal mansion is a site to see with its beautifully cared for gardens; you will find yourself snapping photos of the grounds as much so as the relics inside. The portion of the tour consists of captivating history, a 45,000-piece store of antiquities and an intriguing erotic collection (this room can be left out if touring with younger children.) Afterwards we will have time to enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by colorful gardens on the outdoor patio of the museum cafe.
A brief stop to observe Lima's most famous solid pyramid used as a ceremonial site for the Lima culture during the years of 200 to 700 AD. A full tour of the site is not taken, only observed from the outside.
An artistic park located on the sea-side cliffs of Miraflores. Observe the para gliders sailing over head and local young couples strolling along the paths dedicated to lovers everywhere. A great place to snap a quick photo of you and a loved one!
See the more contemporary side of Lima with it's ocean side views and beautiful parks. Included in this portion of the tour are stops at the Huaca Pucllana and Parque de Amor (Love Park.)
Sitting at roughly 251 meters above sea level, you will get a wonderful view of the Pacific Coastline, Chorrillos Bay an the Shanty towns below. Often overlooked on other tours, this can be the highlight of ours!

Best overview tour of Lima. Our tour guide Sandra was excellent, friendly and very knowledgeable. You could tell she loved her job and her city. The Larco museum and restaurant were the highlights. Never attempt to drive in Lima. The traffic is atrocious, but our driver, Jorge, was very experienced and got us around town safely. Loved everything thing about this private tour.
This was a wonderful tour!!Nathalie was our guide, Gorge our driver. They were a fantastic team. We learned so much about the city of Lima, the country of Peru and the culture. The day was filled but not overloaded. Nathalie went at our pace, unlike many guides who appear to be on a march to get to everything. Her communication with Gorge was seamless, he was always prompt and around the corner waiting for us! Clearly they have worked together many times. We have traveled alot. We have gone on many tours. What makes a tour special is the guide. I can read in a book a lot about what we saw. What I can’t read is what the cultural significance is of what I am seeing. Nathalie explained this in such an engaging manner. Additionally her English was flawless. Important for this “only the very basics” Spanish speaker. Many thanks to Nathalie and Gorge for perfect day. From the prompt arrival time, to the experience of seeing a parade of regional dance groups in the city center, to the kindness of letting us direct the pace, it was a wonderful experience
Nathaly was an excellent guide on our Lima city tour. She was very knowledgeable, responsive to our needs and interests, very pleasant and helpful. Her company was very accommodating to our need for changes in places to visit. We appreciate Nathaly’s efforts in making our trip comfortable and memorable.
Great tour to see the highlights of Peru !!! Maricarmen, our tour guide, and Mr. Hector, our driver, were phenomenal. I definitely would recommend this tour to others.
The tour was absolutely wonderful!! Edgar (our tour guide) was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Jorge "Coqui" (our driver) was excellent! He's a very safe driver. They both had our safety and enjoyment as their top priority. There were five adults as well as our little granddaughter on the tour. I am disabled and using an electric wheelchair for mobility. Their kindness and concerns for all of us was both refreshing and greatly appreciated! If you are lucky enough to have these two gentlemen take you on a tour of Lima, you will truly enjoy your adventure.
We booked this tour for a long layover in Lima and it exceeded our expectations! Our guide Edgar was not only very knowledgeable, he made the tour fun. George, our driver, added to the fun while safely navigating the traffic and avoiding jams. Among our favorite sites were the church and catacombs, the Museo Larco (beautiful grounds and excellent food), and “lovers park” with its Gaudi-inspired wall. We highly recommend this tour.
This tour was a perfect way to spend a long layover in Lima. We were picked up at the airport by our guide Edgar and driver George. Edgar answered all our many questions, providing insightful and fun facts about the city and the sites. Highlights for us were the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco with its catacombs and the Museo Larco, where we had a delicious lunch. George was both a friendly and great driver, safely navigating the traffic and avoiding jams. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has a day to spend in Lima.
Natalie (guide) and Ismael (driver) were amazing ! Very knowledgeable about the city and flexible w itinerary. Would do again !
Marie and Jorge picked us up at our hotel right on time first thing in the morning. Tour was fascinating, fun, perfectly paced. Marie was a wonderful tour guide and Jorge the best driver we could have asked for. It was like spending the day with family that you really like! So glad we picked their tour.
Excellent guide and driver. Both made sure I was well taken care of and focused on my comfort and learning the local history.
We had only one day in Lima and chose this full day tour. Our tour guide, Edgar, and our driver, Jorge, were fantastic. Edgar was very knowledgeable about the city, its history, and the neighborhoods. Highly recommend!
I’ve done numerous guided tours, and Nathaly’s was one of the very best in terms of depth and breadth of knowledge, selection of sites, pacing, focus on the client, wonderful personality. She and her driver Jorge are a great team. Highly recommend.
Nathaly was a fantastic tour guide with an in depth knowledge of architecture and art history. We had a comprehensive day of everything Lima, including the city center, churches, the eclectic architecture, coffee shop break, parks, archeological sites, the shantytown area, and our favorite: Museo Larco, a privately owned vast collection of antiquities followed by a delicious lunch. We had a lovely driver to take us places and we walked to some areas in the city. Highly recommend this tour if you only have a short period of time in Lima!

This tour was outstanding. We covered so much, and yet it was at our pace. If we wanted time for photos, or to shop, or for coffee, it was no problem. We learned so much about Lima, past and present!
Nathaly and Jorge were excellent guides/driver. They gave us an amazing introduction to Lima. The tour was very informative, well timed, and they took our interests into consideration as we explored this beautiful city. We highly recommend these professionals..
This was a great tour showcasing the highlights of Lima. I highly recommend spending a day doing this if time is limited. Edgar was engaged and took the time to answer any questions about the city thoroughly. He was/is passionate about the city and you can see that in how he engages with the client.
Marie Carmen & Ischmiel picked us up at an arranged meeting place. Once there we found them easily as they had a sign with my name clearly printed. Both were kind and friendly saying hello and giving a quick friendly hug. We started at the Museo Larco, omg, what an amazingly beautiful site. The museum was very informative and had excellent displays and Marie Carmen answered our questions and explained all in detail. Her knowledge of Lima was quite impressive. She had made us a reservation for lunch at the restaurant there, she dropped us to have our lunch (this was planned but not included in tour price). We had a wonderful lunch. They were both waiting for us at the entrance to the museum to head out to our next stops. Seeing Lima was fantastic, we could not have asked for a better guide and driver. At one point we decided we wanted to walk around an area we didn't realize was just a local area (they did try to warn me!) there was no tourist shops or anything to see. I thought I saw an open air style shops so marie carmen said ok, apparently it wasn't my best decision but Ishmiel, in his confident and quiet way walked right behind us (I did not realize it until half way through this short walk) but he literally guarded us to be sure no trouble found us. We truly could not have had a better guide and driver/guard 😁 and they are both wonderful people, both were kind, friendly engaging and patient! We often do private tours in cities we are interested in really seeing and getting a good look at but this time in Lima it was by far one of, if not the best, we have had. The people we were lucky to have showing us around made it a fun and informative day. I can not recommend Marie Carmen and Ischmiel enough, they are both just wonderful people who know and do their jobs well. By the end of the tour it was like seeing the city with new friends! I hope everyone who tours has as great an experience in Lima as we did. Thank you Marie Carmen and Ischmiel for a memorable day in Lima.
This tour covered all we wanted to see in Lima, from parks to museums to beaches to scenic viewpoints. Our guide Nathaly and driver Jorge were friendly, well-informed, and provided us with lots of useful information about everything related to the tour and more. Lunch at the Larco Museum was quite nice; the restaurant is worth visiting by itself. While the tour was long, it was well-paced. There was quite a bit of walking, so be aware of that, but the walking was mostly in the early part of the tour. Highly recommended.
Fantastic guide Pamela. The whole day was enjoyable. Driver was excellent and provided good comments. Pamela had an excellent perspective of history.
Edgar our guide and Jorge our driver did a phenomenal job showing us around Lima for the day!! They were prompt, and the whole day was very well organized. Edgar was extremely knowledgeable about Lima and Peru in general, and we had so much fun learning with him. They were flexible with the day and our interests, and even helped us reschedule the tour last-minute when our flight was unexpectedly cancelled due to weather, so that we didn’t miss out on the experience. We can’t thank them enough for showing us Lima on our first day in Peru!!

Eduardo was wonderful. Great day. The driver was good and took it slow. The entire day was wonderful. The meal and horses were unbelievable. Best tour so far.
Our tour of Lima was fantastic! We visited a number of city sights including the historical center, a few different districts, and the Museo Larco. We learned a lot about the history of the city from our guide Nathaly. She was very knowledgeable and had a real passion for art and history. Her English was EXCELLENT as well. We had a great day with Nathaly and I would HIGHLY recommend her and this tour when visiting Lima.
We were in Lima for a full day on a cruise and booked this tour. Unfortunately our ship was delayed in docking due to fog, but our tour guide and driver hung in there until we arrived. Milagross and George adapted the tour to show us as much as they possibly could before we had to get back to the ship. Lima is full of beautiful parks, archeological sites, amazing cathedrals and great food. Plus, now we have two new friends in our tour guide and driver!
Our ship was more than 6 hours late into port due to fog, but Mila and George waited for us to arrive and did a great job of adapting the tour plan so we could still see as much as possible in the time available, even working late to work in some more stops. Lima is a beautiful city with fascinating cathedrals, beautiful parks, museums, archeological parks and delicious food often within just a few blocks of each other. We in no way saw it all but we got a delightful sample and hope to return for more. Plus, we feel like we have two new friends, our driver and tour guide, in Lima now!
I had an authentic experience with Jonathan, my guide. It was safe and fun!
What an excellent tour we had. Edgar our guide was so knowledgeable, friendly and professional and took us to all the best parts of Lima. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you Edgar and Jorge.
Our tour guide, Nathalie, is probably the best guide we have ever had. She was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the city, from history to current life and culture to food. Her communication was clear and there was never any issue with language or understanding. She was flexible with the itinerary, allowing us to see all that we wanted to see and experience, spending more time where something particular captured our interest. Highly Highly recommend this company and Nathalie specifically.
This was a perfect tour. Maricarmen is delightful, speaks English perfectly, and has a great sense of humor. The tour was just the right length, with a perfect mix of time in the car and walking, and different types of sites. We saw quite a bit! Also a terrific lunch at a beautiful outdoor, covered spot with delicious food. Highly recommend!
We had a great tour today with Marco and our driver Ishmael. Marco was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Peru’s history and culture. I would highly recommend this private tour of Lima.
Fantastic tour for family of 4 including kids ages 10 and 13. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to see the highlights of Lima and learn the history.
Mily with Integrity Tours was absolutely amazing! She made the entire day so fun, and my husband and I learned so much about the rich culture and history of Peru. We had lunch at a wonderful restaurant at the Larco Museum, and Mily even surprised us by letting the waiter know it was our anniversary—they did something really special for us, which meant so much. Mily’s English is excellent, her personality is wonderful, and she is incredibly knowledgeable. Jorge was also a fantastic driver with a great personality, which made the experience even better. This day trip was truly unforgettable, and we will absolutely book Integrity Tours again when we return to Peru.
Our guides were very kind and well informed of the historical and cultural significance of the city of Lima. We saw the many neighborhoods that make up the large city of Lima.
Excellent Experience! Ismael was a great driver. Our tour guide Nathaly is very warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this dynamic duo! We had lunch at Larco Museum which was tasty and offered very attentive service. Julio M. was our waiter and he was wonderful. This was a day well spent!!
We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide and driver are very nice and provideed a lot of history and information about this beautiful city of Lima.
A very good tour and introduction to significant sites in Lima. Our guide, Nathaly was extremely knowledgeable of the history and sites visited. Jorge was an awesome driver and navigated the difficult traffic with ease. Great communication from the start. The tour operator contacted us to ensure our pickup location. Our cruise ship provided an alternative drop-off site close to port and our guide was there when we showed up. I highly recommend this tour if you want a full day in Lima!
Our city tour with our guide Lourdes and driver Coqui was a very nice experience. Both are working very well together as a team, are very knowledgeable, speak English fluently (Lourdes offers tours in fluent German as well), They are complementing each other resulting in a very informative day, which gave us a good overview of Lima. Adapting the tour to customer wishes was immediate. We can strongly recommend the tour, try to get the two as your guide and driver.
This tour was the perfect introduction to Lima. We're grateful this was the first thing we did on our trip to Peru because our guide gave us so many helpful recommendations on what to do next. Our guide Marie was very fun and knowledgeable. We loved our tour with her. Lunch at the Museo Arco was a real treat and the museum itself was the highlight of the day.
Our tour guide Pamela and the driver Jorge guided us through the city and museums with expert knowledge about the city with very good mix of local cultures and history.
Nathaly was a fantastic guide. Her depth of knowledge and guiding and architectural background were invaluable. She really brought Peru’s history, culture, sights and peoples to life. It was an invaluable experience that deepened my understanding of the country. I would thoroughly recommend this tour, especially if you are lucky enough to have Nathaly as your guide.
Our guide met us promptly and gave us an overview of our private tour. She gave us a choice of options which gave us a more customized experience. Our driver was professional and courteous and skillfully navigated the Lima traffic. Our guide was professional, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to be with. She made the day very comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend both Gide and driver!
There was a lot of time in the car, but worth it to see so much of Lima. The driver was careful despite the heavy traffic. A very comfortable car. A knowledgeable guide. The Larco museum was wonderful.
Mily and her driver Rene prepared a wonderful overview of Lima for us during our one day stopover in the city. We started in San Isidro and visited Mila Flores, Barranca, and Lima districts, making stops at the beach, local parks, historic squares, a beautiful Dominican church, and a chocolate tasting. Afterwards we enjoyed lunch at Museo Larco and viewed the amazing artifacts collected by the family in the early 1900s. It was relaxing not to have to navigate traffic on our own, and Mily was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had a fantastic day!
Our tour guide Nathaly was excellent. The itinerary was comprehensive and well thought out. The van and driver were very good
Maricarmen was our guide and Jorge our driver. We had a lovely time in Lima. I would thoroughly recommend this tour! As well as visiting the sites listed in the itinerary, we had a great lunch at a very nice restaurant.
Nathaly was our guide and Jorge, our driver. We had the most amazing time. Both Nathaly and Jorge were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I am quite confident I would not have been able to cover as much of Lima on our own. My favorites were the Larco museum & the view from Morro Solar. They answered all of our questions and were extremely flexible.
Mily and George were great guides! They were informative, friendly, and kind. We all enjoyed our full day Lima tour before heading back home on a late-night flight. The tour was the perfect way to see a lot of Lima all in one day.
Our driver Jorge and guide Natalie took us on a full day tour of the city. Lots to see in Lima. We even got to go to morro solar way up on a hill and see all of lima from a high vantage point. A great tour if you are in lima for a day. Would definitely recommend.
