Paracas & Huacachina Day Trip From Lima With Sunset

Very well organized and Franco really took good care of our entire group Highly recommend it but be prepared as it was a long full day trip

Our tour guide Ronald was a blast, and kept us going throughout the day. Kudos to our sand-buggy driver, Guicepie who thrilled us on the dunes. The ride was the quite an adrenaline rush!

Zero communication whatsoever from the company. Went to the meeting point at the designated time & they never showed.

I have had a lot of tour guys in my life, but I have to say Jesus was the best even today. We went to another trip with a different tour guide and we missed Jesus.. He’s accommodating, very kind and very upfront and quite loving. One thing I have to say to guys don’t like to sit with you when you’re having lunch or dinner with them because obviously it’s a job and dating some space to recuperate. But Jesus sat with us and showed so much love and got to know us as a couple and individually

This was a long but enjoyable day. Jesus, our guide, was both knowledgeable and hilarious. He was good at keeping the group moving and in good spirits.

The bus is old and so noisy on highway. The ride at the back of the bus is worse than sitting next to an jet engine. The vibration and engine noise make otherwise a fun trip a bad experience.

Had an amazing trip. My guide Rose was the best. She took care if us and made the whole so easy. Bus is comfortable, pick up ontime , communication the whole trip was good. It was an amazing day.

Had a great solo trip across top Peru destination places. Rose was very accommodating and funny - she made great suggestions and very proactive to make sure we got to places early and with less crowds.. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone traveling solo, with a partner or family.

Despite us being in Lima on the Easter bank holiday our tour was planned to perfection to ensure everything went ahead and we managed to still complete all the activities. Our tour guide Maurice was fantastic from start to finish and made sure everyone was kept up to date with all the plans. This trip was hands down one of the best trips I have ever done during any of my travels! It was well curated, the lunch was great, and the dune buggy and boarding was an absolute blast! Rose’s energy was the cherry on top! She was so much fun and had our group laughing non stop which really helped us all connect. 10/10 must do tour!

She offered important insight on the landmarks we visited, she gave us great tips, she showed us amazing places and her energy made the whole time a blast! I 100% recommend it. This was a long day but so worth it!! One of the coolest experiences of my life and I’ll never forget it. The bus was comfortable and Maurice was the best guide — I can’t recommend enough!! Make sure to bring layers and cash for tips and food.

This trip was 10/10! It is a very full and long day but it is 100% worth it. The boat tour and the pisco tasting was amazing but Huacachina was the star of the show! Hands down one of the coolest experiences I’ve had. Maurice and all of the other guides were great!

Oh my goodness this was the most incredible day! Rose aka MOMMY took such good care of her group and put so much love into our activities. She is also super funny!! My husband and I highly recommend going on Rose’s tour. Rose, we love you! It was a long day, but well paced and we all had a great time. We wanted to continue, but it was night and the sun was gone. So now we must book again, hehe. I recommend bringing a poncho for the boat trip or something to cover from the water. You may or may not need it.

We began our journey in Paracas and took a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, which was an incredible experience. From there, we headed to Pisco for wine tasting—everything was amazing, and the food was genuinely delicious. What really stood out was that the experience felt premium without being expensive; it was very easy on the pockets. Next, we traveled to the Huacachina Lagoon, where we had an unforgettable time. The day wrapped up perfectly with sand dune buggy rides and sandboarding down 100-foot dunes, followed by a peaceful, beautiful sunset in the desert while sitting on top of a dune. It was quiet, scenic, and honestly unforgettable. Dinner at the end of the day was tasty, filling, and still very economical—another great touch. Overall, this was a perfectly planned, well-paced, and memorable experience. Rose was professional, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly. We had an amazing time and would 100% recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Peru. Truly a 10 out of 10 experience. PS. Rose kept us all entertained and laughing throughout the trip.

Rosa kept our tour energetic and funny, and the tour itself was very thoughtfully planned to give us an idea of the local geography and history of the area. The highlight was definitely the dune buggy ride and the final view of the sunset, I would 100% recommend this!

A wonderful experience! The tour starts early but the micro bus is very comfortable and you can rest on the way. The Mini buggy ride is pretty cool but the golden key is the buggy ride through the desert. The landscape is amazing.

I went with low expectations because of the various comments about this tour leaving from Lima, that it is very extensive and tiring. And in the end, it exceeded my expectations a lot. The guide Jesus was friendly, cheerful, and attentive. The day is really long so it's good to rest a day before and after and prepare for the long trip. But it is very worth it. My biggest expectation was the oasis (I even looked for tours just to go there and couldn't find any leaving from Lima), but I was surprised by the boat tour, it's enchanting. I also expected the feeding stops not to be very adequate, but on the contrary, they were excellent. At the oasis, the buggy ride is indeed with many maneuvers, but I asked for little excitement and was accommodated. The view from up there and the sunset are worth it. Finally, something that made me choose this agency was the pickup in Miraflores (the others were indicating a more distant meeting point and since I was leaving early in the morning I was not comfortable). And it was great, besides picking me up at my door, they also returned all of us to their hotels (around midnight). About the bus there are several comments, we didn't take a new bus, but from what I observed it is the rule of the vehicles in the region, not a very new fleet. I highly recommend the tour and the company.

Very complete tour. The Ilhass Ballestas are charming and the experience in Huacachina is unique. The guide runs very well.

It is a very complete experience; bring sunscreen and water... the rest is provided by the organizers. In our case, Jesus the guide was very attentive to what we needed.
