This is a day of two halves. Morning visit to Pachacamac. The guide was lovely and gave great detail in the museum. Very interesting. Meal was okay. After lunch we were handed over to another guide who again was an excellent guide. The cathedral and "catacombs" were fascinating. We then strolled through historic Lima at dusk, which was really beautiful and had a pisco tasting session! Then we were off to the magic water, which was better than expected. A great day
We had such an amazing experience on our Pachacamac and Lima tour with Alex. From the very beginning, he was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained the history in a way that was easy to understand and made everything come alive. What stood out most was how attentive and thoughtful he was throughout the entire day. He made sure we were comfortable, answered all our questions, and kept the energy positive and fun. You can truly tell he loves what he does. This wasn’t just a tour, it felt like a full cultural experience. I highly recommend Alex to anyone visiting Lima. Thank you for making our day so special!
Great tour! Athena and Enrique were fantastic guides. Pachacamac was stunning, the Catacombs were very interesting, and the water show was a great way to end the day. Athena was very proud of her city. She was extremely knowledgeable about Inca and pre-Inca history and shared many details that enhanced the day. We had a delicious lunch with traditional Peruvian dishes. This tour was the perfect way to begin my exploration of Peru!
Our guide Allesandro was very informing and helpful. The tour I booked was altered but still great!!
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour super fun and interesting. Highly recommend!
We had a fascinating tour Pachacamac and Lima. Aura was full of energy all day long and was excited to share her knowledge with us.
We loved our day out and about in Lima. Our guide Aura was full of energy, information and stories. During the day she covered so many topics and responded to all our questions in a very clear and interesting way. We learnt a lot about Peru’s history and the current challenges faced by Peruvians. Our driver Juan calmly navigated the traffic and to find space to drop off and pick up amidst the mayhem. Highly recommended as an overview of Lima.
We had a great city tour with Aura. She was knowledgeable, flexible and courteous. She took care to understand our dietary needs and made the right arrangements.
A very interesting trip to Pachacamac. Our guide Claudia was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all our questions. She took us on the city tour in the afternoon and to the beautiful fountains in the night. All in all it was good day well spent. Claudia informed us ahead of time, picked us up on time took us to a good restaurant and guided us there also.
This was a GREAT tour! Our tour guide and driver were perfectly on time at our door step. Pamela, our tour guide, was one of the most knowledgeable people we’ve had as a guide. She was kind, easy going, friendly and helpful. She took great care of us!! AND she takes the best pictures! I didn’t know a “photographer” was included in this tour 😉 Lunch was AMAZING!!! And it’s included in the cost of the tour which was great! The van we had was IMMACULATE! From beginning to end, we’d recommend this tour to everyone!! Thanks Pamela for being AMAZING!
Mario and Jesus were amazing guides. The information provided during the tour was great and allowed us to fully appreciate this amazing culture.
What a full day! Starting with the fascinating ancient site of Pachacamac. Enough has been excavated to get a sense of the site. Pachacamac looks down on the desert and it’s easy to image its former red walls visible to travellers from miles away. I believe it will become a more popular site when more excavation is done. Our guide Jean Paul was extremely knowledgeable about the site. Next we had a fabulous lunch in Lima central and then explored the downtown core and in particular the church de San Francisco and its subterranean crypt. We ended the day with a trip to the park of fountains. This park is a favourite with Peruvians and it was a delight to see all the families enjoying the fountains, spray features, bouncing castles. At dusk the biggest fountain has a special display and music representing the history of Peru. A fabulous way to end the day.
This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Pamela, was very knowledgeable of her country, city, and the sites that we visited, was very personable. She was the key to making it as successful as it was. The tour was well organized and the transportation arrangements were handled smoothly. The tour description alerts you that this is a long, full day tour, so be aware of your limitations if that can be an issue. That said, I recommend it without reservation.
Our full day tour to Pachacamac Pyramids, Lima City, Magic Water Show was fantastic and a must do while in Lima. Yes, it was a very long day, but worth every penny. Our guide, Renzo, was very knowledgeable in everything and everywhere he took us to. His fun personality made for an interesting day. Our driver, Ernesto, was an excellent driver and we felt safe in his vehicle at all times. Thank you both for this wonderful experience.
Book this tour. I was hesitant to book this tour as it had 1 review on Viator and was the same review on TripAdvisor. After calling Viator customer support I found out the review is the same as it’s the same company. So we went with the tour hoping to the 1 review was not a bad omen. It was not a bad omen. This tour was GREAT. We had a day lay over on Lima and wanted to explore the city but also do something unique. We started our tour at 11am. Thought the tour says a max of 15 people it was just myself and my partner. We were picked up at the restaurant we went to for breakfast. So, already, the tour company accommodated a pick up location that wasn’t “typical”. We had a driver and a guide in a clean SUV and went to the Pyramids. Lots of energy and a lot of knowledge from our tour guide MP. Sterling, our driver, was extremely friendly and drove safely and was prompt with every pick up. You could tell the full team was about comfort, customer experience, and providing a robust trip. The pyramids were great. Not rushed. The crypts were neat and the architecture was beautiful. Our diet (vegan) was accommodated for lunch which was fantastic and convenient. We had a tour guide switch for the city which was Enrique. Just as energetic and knowledgeable. We were given a walk at our own pace from cathedral to cathedral and then were picked up for the Water Show at the Fountain Park. I guess usually the park is much more packed on a non holiday so there’s much more waiting in line. However, we had a lot of time in the park before the water show - this was the only thing I would have changed to lessen the waiting (thought I don’t thin this could have been anticipated). Enrique filled this time with jokes and knowledge. The water show was ok. About of families and definitely something people look forward to. Overall the park was beautiful, clean, and very safe. Afterward we were to be dropped off at a restaurant. Again, atypical and on a holiday it was closed. Sterling and Enrique tried to find another place for us to eat but without luck (not without trying!). We had a great time with MP, Enrique, and Sterling. Truly a 9 hour tour. If you want a filling day to see some sights inside and outside of the city this is a great way to do that - WITH lunch! Also note: we were allowed to leave our luggage in Sterling transportation all day while we took the tours. VERY convenient. Will definitely book again with this company when we come back for a real Perú visit.
This tour was spectacular. Our guide Manuel was very knowledgable about the city and its history. The tour had a nice mix of sites, from the Pachacamac ruins south of the city to the catacombs of San Francisco to a local market to the magic water fountain show. We felt very safe with a guide to show us around and an excellent driver. Would highly recommend.
Excellent transport, complete experiences, from the cultural, shopping and distraction, you walk something so take comfortable shoe and a small back pack if you buy something, bathrooms at all times, nice photos, excellent guide with a lot of knowledge of the history of Peru
My mother appreciates the deference, attention and knowledge of the guide, Renzo. Very grateful that she enjoyed the tour throughout the day.
I was impressed with the ruins of Pachacamac what I didn't like was the Prior notice of the walk I suffer from headaches and there was an extensive walk in the desert but the entrance museum is very nice and detailed there are various archaeological objects with spondillus shells that Erasmus considers sacred to those cultures brought from the equator .
Fue una experiencia asombrosa, nuestra guía, Aura, nos enseñó todo con full de detalles. Fue muy amable, nos encantó el tour con ella. Super recomendado.
The tour with Renzo was wonderful, he was perfect, cult and very kind. It was a long, several hours tour with several places to be visited and was not exhausting, all timed and accurate. Tour that will remain for our history and he will ⁇ always be remembered. Exceptional professional. Thank you, Renzo!
It completely exceeded our expectations, it is a quite complete tour. Our guide Jean Paul along with the driver Esterling were very friendly at all times. We learned a lot on this tour, learning about pre-Columbian Peruvian history to the present day. We started at the pyramids of Pachacamac, an ancient site with fascinating history, as we walked we could easily imagine how people lived at that time thanks to the information that Jean Paul gave us. Then we return to the center of Lima, we stop for lunch (delicious by the way) and we continue getting to know the city, specifically the historic center. The most curious thing is the tour of the San Francisco catacombs, if you suffer from claustrophobia I do not recommend that you do that part of the tour haha. We finished with the water show, very fun because of the challenges of avoiding getting wet and the closing show was beautiful. (We recommend that if you want to do the maze challenge, bring a towel if possible) I would like to highlight the impartiality, objectivity and professionalism of Jean Paul, we felt that he told us the history of the country in a reliable manner. We leave with a beautiful memory and with a lot of knowledge of its beautiful culture.
