They are really easy to get hold of, I had and emergency and had to change my plans and they got me on the next bus that day back to lima. Thankyou, I’d highly recommend. I had Daniela two times on the busses, she explains everything well and is very bubbly, professional and happy to help.

Itinerary
Day 1
1
We begin the journey early with door-to-door pickup from your hotel or hostel in Miraflores, Barranco, or San Isidro. You’ll travel aboard a Peru Hop bus, known for comfort, safety, and free high-speed Wi-Fi onboard - perfect for staying connected or sharing your trip as you go. Along the way, watch Lima’s urban sprawl give way to wide-open coastal desert landscapes as you head south along the Pan-American Highway. Your guide will confirm pickup time the day before via Viator chat.
Midway through the morning, we stop at Mirasur, a hidden gem bakery and rest stop located right off the highway. Known for freshly baked bread straight from adobe ovens, this is a chance to enjoy a rustic breakfast just like the locals do. Try pan con chicharrón (pork belly sandwich) or sweet tamales with coffee while watching the bakers in action.
Step into Peru’s complex colonial past at Hacienda San José, a beautifully preserved 17th-century estate turned boutique hotel. This site was once home to a sprawling plantation worked by enslaved Africans. You’ll tour the main house and descend into the secret underground tunnels - an astonishing 17-kilometer network once used to smuggle enslaved people inland from the coast. Your guide will share powerful stories that shed light on the origins of Afro-Peruvian culture, music, and identity. A must-see for history lovers.
After a morning full of culture and cuisine, arrive in Paracas, a relaxed fishing town and launchpad to the Pacific coast’s natural wonders. Spend your free afternoon strolling the waterfront malecón, sipping a pisco sour by the beach, or trying fresh ceviche at one of the harborfront restaurants. Want to keep exploring? Ask your guide about optional add-ons like the Golden Shadow Trek or a walk along the red-sand beaches of the reserve.
Day 2
2
At 8:00 am, start your day with a speedboat ride across the Pacific to the iconic Ballestas Islands, often called “Peru’s Galápagos.” As you cut through the waves, keep your camera ready - these rocky islets are teeming with wildlife. You’ll spot Humboldt penguins, sea lions, pelicans, and thousands of nesting seabirds. Along the way, view the massive and mysterious Candelabra geoglyph carved into the cliffside - an ancient symbol that has puzzled archaeologists for generations.
From 10:30 pm to 12:30 pm, venture into one of South America's largest coastal protected areas - the Paracas National Reserve. Here, the raw desert collides with the deep blue Pacific in a surreal blend of colors and textures. Visit panoramic viewpoints such as La Catedral (The Cathedral rock formation), the stunning Playa Roja (Red Beach), and salt flats that shimmer in the sun. You can upgrade to a quad biking tour through the reserve—ask your guide on the day of the tour!
Head to a pisco vineyard, one of the oldest artisanal vineyards in the Ica Valley and a proud producer of Peru’s national spirit: Pisco. During this guided visit, you’ll discover the traditional production process, from grape harvesting and fermentation to copper-pot distillation and bottling. Wander the rustic grape fields, see antique distillery tools, and breathe in the sweet scent of fermenting fruit. After the tour, enjoy a generous tasting session featuring a variety of Piscos, including infused and aged selections. Don’t forget to try Pisco crema, a sweet local favorite. You’ll have free time to relax in the vineyard's shaded garden café and enjoy an optional lunch, with dishes like wood-fired chicken or local carapulcra with sopa seca.
In the late afternoon, arrive at Huacachina, South America’s only natural desert oasis. Ringed by palm trees and golden dunes, this surreal village looks straight out of a dream. Hop into a high-powered dune buggy and prepare for an exhilarating ride up and down the towering dunes, some as tall as a 10-story building. After the adrenaline rush, grab a board and sandboard down the slopes (slide down on your belly, no stading allow for safety reasons). As the sun sets over the sand, the entire landscape glows gold, perfect for unforgettable photos. You’ll spend the night in Huacachina. Explore the oasis after dark with a cold drink, dinner by the lagoon, or simply relax under a blanket of desert stars
Day 3
3
Around 2 pm depart to Nazca. Nazca Lines Viewing Tower, see 3 of the mysterious and world-famous Nazca Lines for free! Dinner stop is included before drop off at your accommodation.
Day 4
4
At 11:00 am, prepare for one of the most unforgettable experiences of your life - a scenic flight over the world-famous Nazca Lines. Buckle in and soar above the desert where over a dozen massive geoglyphs come into view: the Monkey, Hummingbird, Condor, Astronaut, Tree, and more. Each shape spans hundreds of feet and can only be fully appreciated from the air - this perspective makes their scale, precision, and mystery truly mind-blowing.
After touching down, continue your journey back in time with a visit to the Cantalloc Aqueducts - a marvel of pre-Inca hydraulic engineering. Built over 2,000 years ago by the Nazca Culture, these spiral-shaped underground channels carried fresh water from the Andes across the arid valley, sustaining agriculture in one of the driest places on Earth. Walk along the still-functioning system, descend into one of the spirals, and learn how these structures used stone, gravity, and airflow to bring life to the desert - a rare and humbling encounter with ancient ingenuity.
At 03:00 pm, board your comfortable Peru Hop bus with onboard high-speed Wi-Fi - perfect for catching up on messages or posting your best photos from the trip. Travel back through the Ica desert toward Huacachina, where you’ll enjoy a brief stop to stretch your legs or grab a snack before continuing on to Lima.
At 7:00 pm, take the Peru Hop bus back to Lima. Lean back, relax, and reflect on four incredible days of travel - from the wild sea cliffs of Paracas to the mystic lines of Nazca. Arrive in Lima in the late evening, where you’ll be dropped off directly at your hotel or hostel.

Would highly recommend PeruHop especially for first time trips to Peru. Super accommodating and informative as you travel place to place. My guide was Raùl and he did a phenomenal job!
Great value for money. Additionally got injured and Luis took care of me quite well. Organised bus to Lima from where Diego took over.
Our 3 days travelling with Peru Hop from Lima to Nazca have been enjoyable and hassle free. Our guide Raul has been excellent. He's passionate about his beautiful country, shares lots of info and nothing is too much trouble. We're looking forward to the next part of our trip Araquipa to Cusco
Had the greatest trip with Peru Hop, they organized all the tours and accommodations via the site and it was seamless! The guides are experienced and a lot of fun. Shoutout to @Hannah and @Miguel for the best time in Peru!
Wonderful experience with peru hop and Brenda was amazing and had all things so well orginized and sorted out! Easy way to travel and see the coolest places and meet nice people.
We had a great trip, peru hop is a very convenient service that really simplifies the trip from lima, paracas, huacachina, and arequipa. We had Daniela, Miguel, Liz, and Brenda and all of them were great!
We had a brilliant time with Peru Hop. Couldn’t recommend them more highly. Monica was our guide and she was extremely helpful and informative. She brought lots of energy each day and made sure each leg of the trip went smoothly. We are very grateful for all her help, she was brilliant.
From start to finish PeruHop was outstanding! Our tours were great- beautiful, exciting, and well planned. The recommended accomodations were perfect. Our hosts included Sergio, Lizbeth, Marjorie, Elizabeth, and Pablo. ALL of them were friendly, helpful, and very informative. The buses were clean, comfortable, and on time. I would recommend paying the small extra premium to preserve seats if you are traveling with someone. PeruHop is a great value and highly recommended!
So many amazing experiences in so little time! I'm an ancient history junkie, but loved the natural beauty of Paracus, Huacacina and Nazca with their awesome desert, ocean, wildlife and cultural experiences. Seeing the wildlife in Paracus was surprisingly a big highlight. If course the Nazca lines, pyramid and aquaduct were spectacular. I loved the dune buggy adventure and could have done that again for sure! I never imagined the height and vastness of the dunes in Huacacina. Peru Hop made everything so easy and maintained close contact. The various guides and leaders were very professional and great to deal with! I started with Raul, then moved to Jean Pierre and ended with Daniela for the trip back to Lima. I highly recommend this operator for your Peru adventures!
Great trip with two awesome Guides- Raul and Jean Pierre who in addition to providing awesome explanations about peruvian culture cuisine nature and history in a very fun and engaging way, took care of all of the logistics, made sure we have all the information about the tours, pickup location and made sure we can enjoy the various activities and tours with peace of mind.
We had a wonderful experience doing the Lima to Cusco trip. The guides took excellent care of us, we felt safe the entire way and had lots of interesting and fun experiences. Thanks to Jean-Pierre, Marjorie, Johann, Andre and Luis
Well organized trip, pick up in time, you can join further activities which fit perfectly into the travel plan, Our travel guide Luis took care that we kept the schedule, always with a friendly smile. He knows the local details and got the best buggy drivers in the dunes ;-))) Thanks Luis, we have enjoyed very much having you as our travel guide ;-)
We had a really good experience with Peru hop during our vacation. Especially the hosts were very kind and helpful - Andres, Emerson, Sergio, Raul and Brenda were all amazing! A very convenient way to get around Peru and Bolivia, you get great info from the guides
Great time! First bus tour experience. Ricardo was great. Always kept us informed on what was happening. Easy to communicate with. Really nice person!
From Day 1 until the very end of our Peru Hop journey, I can honestly say that I was in awe of the entire experience. The service was exceptional, and the organization throughout the trip was impressive. Our tour guides were professional, friendly, and incredibly informative. They didn’t just show us the places—they helped us understand the history, culture, and stories behind them. A special shout-out to Miguel—you are truly a star tour guide! ⭐ Thank you for making our journey even more memorable. Peru is such a beautiful country, blessed with incredible landscapes, fascinating history, rich culture, and warm, beautiful people. Everywhere we went, there was something new to discover and appreciate. From its historic sites to its breathtaking natural beauty, Peru truly has so much to offer. The only thing that disappointed us was seeing litter along some parts of our journey. It was heartbreaking to see such beautiful surroundings affected by waste. I sincerely hope the government and local communities can continue working together to protect and preserve Peru’s natural treasures. This country is so richly blessed with natural resources and beauty—it deserves to be protected for generations to come. Overall, Peru surprised us in the best possible way. 🇵🇪❤️ Thank you, Peru Hop, for an unforgettable journey, and thank you, Miguel, for being such an amazing guide. You are a star! 🌟
I had Miguel as my guide, and he was INCREDIBLE! ⭐️ The best guide ever! He shared lots of useful information with us and was very effective in explaining where we were going and what we were doing next. He is a good leader. Her told us about agua florida and how to deal with altitude sickness, which was very useful for me. Thanks so much for a great trip Miguel!
Honestly the best decision ever! All you have to do is hop, sleep and have fun. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and professional, they are very hard working and honest, shoutout to Miguel! I would definitely recommend this package to everyone.
It was an awesome experience and full of fun plus a friendly guide (Miguel).
Me and my younger brother booked directly through PeruHop, as we had 2.5 weeks to travel and wanted to get to see as much as possible in that time. The whole process was so easy and our guide Raul was honestly amazing; he was so informative and brought a real authentically fun energy to the whole experience! Could not recommend it enough if you want to see the main spots of Peru but don’t want to have to organise everything completely yourself.
We did 4 days 3 nights Paracas- Nasca tour and it was well organized and we did not have to worry about anything.
This company is very profesional. They really know what rhey are doing. LUIS, the guíe was exceptionaly professional, puntual, pacient, friendly, ready to help. He made the experience so much easier and friendly for a solo traveler. The Ballestas tour and the Buggy sandboarding tour were a lot of fun. Thank yoy Perú Hop. Thank yoy Luis for such an amazing experience.
Had a great experience with Peru Hop and the tour guide, Luis. Exploring Peru by bus allows us to see the different landscapes Peru has to offer.
This 4-day tour is an excellent option for travellers who want to explore Peru without having to worry about the complexities of arranging transport between destinations. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the guides did an excellent job of keeping everyone informed about pick-up times, activity schedules and meeting points. Given that the company operates buses continuously between Lima and Cusco and has to coordinate activities across multiple locations, I was impressed by how smoothly everything was organised. The guides clearly care about their passengers and make a genuine effort to ensure that everyone knows where they need to be and when. The buses were comfortable enough for the long journeys, with ample legroom, reasonably wide seats, air conditioning or heating as required, and, most importantly, very safe driving. In Peru, where road safety can be a significant concern, this was particularly reassuring. The company also provides information about optional activities available at various stops along the route, but without any pressure to book them, which I greatly appreciated. Another useful feature is that, although accommodation is not included, travellers receive a list of recommended hotels and hostels, often with access to attractive discounts. There are a few minor points that prospective travellers should be aware of. Not all services are operated using full-size coaches, and some journeys are undertaken in smaller vans. While these were perfectly adequate, they were not quite as comfortable as the larger buses and they didn't have on-board Wifi or USB chargers; one of them didn't even have air conditioning. In addition, the USB charging ports were not particularly reliable during my trip. They did not provide enough power to charge my Samsung S26 effectively, and some of the sockets were slightly loose, making it difficult to maintain a stable connection. The accommodation recommendations were generally very good, although the hotel suggested in Huacachina seemed to cater primarily to younger travellers interested in pool parties and barbecues, which may not suit everyone's preferences. Nevertheless, these are relatively minor criticisms of what was otherwise a well-run and affordable tour that significantly simplified travel around Peru. I would definitely recommend this tour and would book with Perú Hop again (I did).
My wife and I joined this 4 days Tour from Lima last May and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We saw and did so much in those days! I really can't pick a favorite activity, they were all amazing, and we had lots of fun doing the Dune Buggy ride in Huacachina. I also recommend - when in Nazca - a visit to the Chauchilla Cemetery, the Cahuachi Pyramids and Museo Antonini (a must see). A big thank you to our Peru Hop crew member Ana (Anita) for being such a bubbly person, very well organized (sending constantly messages/updates about the trip in both Spanish and English). Bus? Excellent: comfortable, clean, on time, wifi working properly.
We decided to do the 6 day tour of Peru from Cusco to Lima. It was worth the money as you don’t have to worry about transportation and everything is planned for you like the tours and food. The staff was amazing, we had Miguel for majority of our trip and he was so funny, caring and made the trip easy. The bus usually was small and didn’t have a lot of people. The atmosphere was relaxing and calming, making the whole experience worth the price of the ticket. It was fun to experience little bits of Peru on our way to Lima.
PeruHop is amazing! They take care of all the logistics and all the staff genuinely care about making sure you have an amazing experience. I love how they give info on places we're visiting, cultural insights and tonnes of recommendations. The bonus stops are also great - you see so much more than you would otherwise. The logistics are seamless and comms are excellent.
Our Peru Bus Hop tour was cut short due to heavy rains causing mudslides that closed the main highway to Arequipa; however, the few days we spent with the group in Paracas and Huaccahina were amazing. Our host Miguel was amazing, caring, professional, attentive, and energetic. You are lucky to have a host like Miguel. Best way to tour Peru. Going to Lima? This is a MUST DO!
I don’t know where to begin! Everything was perfect with PeruHop. It’s my first time in South America and I was a little nervous to make my first steps there. It has always been a dream of mine to visit Peru and I feel like PeruHop has contributed so much with this dream. We had the most amazing guide for sure. Thank you so much Miguel for your sparkly energy, the great tips and advices, your humor and for making sure that every single one of us were ok. Book with PeruHop if you want a safe and easy way to discover Peru, you won’t regret it!
I actually did the circuit of 6 days. The activity proposed are really good. I met a lot of amazing people including our guide (Miguel). He was perfect : knows is thing, funny, organise and just really nice. I was sad when we left him. I loved everything in that trip.
We were with Miguel and Deborah. Both were great. Miguel is so nice and really knows his stuff. He gave us amazing tips with activities and hes fun to be around. He knows how to get everyone involved and we loved the isco wine tour! Good value. We completed the full tour lima to la paz ! Atmosphere was perfect relaxed.
I'm so glad we traveled with Peru Hop as an add-on with another group we used for Machu Picchu. We had a fabulous time in Peru!
I did Peru Hop from Cusco to Lima. Stopped at Puno, Arequipa,Nasca, Huacachina, Paracas. Then Lima.As I traveled in the reverse to most travellers i found the busses were less crowded than the other way. I did change guides a few times as I stayed extra nights in some places. This gave me the opportunity to meet many of the Peru Hop staff. Every single one of them were amazing, their passion, respect and energy to show and explain their country and culture were incredible. I am an older solo female traveler and was always made to feel welcomed and not out of place due to my age. Thank you to all the crew, drivers and the people working behind the scenes to make my trip safe and enjoyable. ❤️Peru
This was an amazing experience, I was expecting just a bus ride. it was not only an amazing bus ride with a tour guide who speaks perfect English and is super friendly. The bus also had wifi, and very nice seats. During the stops we would have also have events together with all the people on the bus and aswell as lunches. These were my favorite part as you could get to know some knew people. Overall 100x better than what I expected
Our tours with Peru Hop was smooth and covered the attractions/ activities we wanted to explore. We felt safe too, the company is very organized, from booking individual tours to pre-booking meals. Big applause to our guide Luis. He’s very knowledgeable and helpful.
Peruhop has a good networks with other tours and transportation. Luis and Liz did very well and kind as a tour guide! I recommend you to go with then!
Luis was super friendly full of energy and very knowledgeable about all the places. We are so glad he was our guide
Overall the arrangement was pretty good
Great experience and Miguel was a great guide
We enjoyed the uncomplicated way to travel with Peru Hop and had a great time! The Guides where really hardworking, full of Humor and always helpful with everything. I especially liked Ricardo and Luis!!! They did a great job! What I did not like was the confusing and uncomplete Information in the Peru Hop App. But the Guides always sent all Information in The WhatsApp groups. All in all a great experience!
The price was good. We didn’t have to worry about driving with other crazy drivers on on the road or navigating the scary mountain roads. Our host Luis was very helpful and educational. The buses were comfortable with cushy reclining seats, air conditioning and WiFi. Overall it was a good experience.
It was a great experience! Everything was planned and communicated clearly. Especially our tour guide Luis was very nice and organized. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Peru!
I took Peru Hop from Arequipa to Lima, stopping at several cities along the way, including Nazca, Huacachina, and Paracas. I had a great time with our tour guide, Raúl. He was passionate and shared many interesting stories about Peru. I learned so much from him.I highly recommend it!
Peru hop is very well organized , we receive a lot of information about the planning/ timetables. The busses are never late. They are very comfortable with a great wifi connection. It’s very easy to discover Peru with Peru Hop We made a lot of nice excursions ( sandboarding , trek in paracas, boat trip, Colca canyon …) We also had a really great trip experience thanks to Roberto. He is very friendly, funny and we feel that he is very passionate about his job. He shared interesting information about the country, its culture, its food… He organized dinners and activities with the group (market visit, etc.). Our trip would have never been the same without him and his good mood.
Peru hop is an ideal way to explore Peru in the company of fellow travelers. Our guide with Peru Hop, Julio, was the best; he was very structured in his explanations, as well as very warm and accomodating, we really couldn’t have wished for a better host!
Miguel is an excellent, cheerful host who clearly loves his job. He was quick with tips and got to know everyone. Peru Hop is a great service that offered more than I expected.
We jad a realy good time with oure Guid Lui
This was the perfect way to explore Peru. We traveled from Lima to Cusco and decided to take a bus to get there. This bus trip was amazing, it included easy pickups, additional tours (like touring a hacienda as well as a winery), and all kinds of info about where to get food and the towns we were staying. It was flexible because you could choose how many days to stay in each location. Plus, you could add on additional activities to your itinerary. Our guide Miguel was the absolute best!
Peru hop is so well organised and the hosts are so welcoming and helpful, we really had the best experience and made it more enjoyable as younger female travellers.
I had an amazing time! Both Jose Carlos and Luis were so welcoming and great overall tour guides.
