The tour was great. It is a great way to get introduced to all the interesting and important things in Lima in short order. It was a very easy tour with some walking, but very relaxed and slow-paced. Our guide Sandy was excellent. She shared interesting tidbits and facts along the way and covered the whole tour really well. The car that picked us up was big and very comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend this tour.

Itinerary
After picking you up, we will take you to explore the most beautiful and iconic spots of Miraflores. Discover, with the guidance of your expert tour leader, the history and evolution of this emblematic district — one of the most vibrant and visited areas in the city of Lima.
Our tour begins with a visit to this impressive adobe and clay pyramid, built between 200 and 700 A.D. It served as a major ceremonial and administrative center for the ancient Lima Culture. From the exterior viewpoint, we will admire the scale and significance of this remarkable archaeological site, a true testament to Peru’s early civilizations.
Next, we will visit The Olive Park, a serene and picturesque historical site located in the district of San Isidro. Its main attraction is the collection of centuries-old olive trees, carefully preserved through time. The park also features displays of antique machinery once used for olive oil production, lush gardens filled with colorful flowers and shrubs, and an ornamental pond home to fish and terrapins. Surrounded by charming historic houses and dotted with inviting benches, this park offers a perfect setting to relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of Lima’s green heart.
We will then visit this charming landmark, inaugurated in 1993 to celebrate love in all its forms. At its center stands the iconic sculpture “El Beso” (The Kiss), created by renowned Peruvian artist Víctor Delfín, portraying two lovers locked in an eternal embrace. Surrounding the sculpture are beautifully tiled benches inspired by Antoni Gaudí’s Parc Güell in Barcelona, along with vibrant mosaic walls that add a unique artistic touch. From this spot atop the Miraflores cliffs, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Lima and the Pacific Ocean.
Afterward, we will head to Barranco, Lima’s artistic and bohemian neighborhood, where you will enjoy a pleasant walk through its most iconic and inspiring corners. Admire the vibrant murals, creative spaces, and artistic expressions that give Barranco its colorful and trendy charm. Your guide will share the stories and meanings behind these works of art, helping you understand why this district is considered Lima’s cultural heart. Don’t miss the chance to make a wish at the famous Bridge of Sighs and explore the delightful main plaza that captures the spirit of this enchanting neighborhood.
Listen to your guide as they share the fascinating story behind this iconic landmark, and get ready to cross the Bridge of Sighs while making your special wish — a cherished local tradition that adds a touch of magic to the experience.

Excellent and knowledgeable guide.
3 hour tour car and walking. Due to local traffic much of the time was traveling, which decreased the time at each site. Doris was nice, a fast walker. It was good nothing more. Good for touring other sections of the city outside the main town. The stop at the ruins wasn’t good. Looking from the outside of the gated area. The olive park and small park was nice
Excellent experience for travellers to get a succinct overview of the history & architecture of Miraflores, Barranco and San Isidro. Sandy is a wealth of information & has a delightful & cheerful personality.
It was a great private tour … history and architecture was explained. Visited all the places listed plus more. Since my husband is unable to walk much… the guide adjusted the tour and made it more panoramic. We had a good time. We even took photos with a Miraflores city major candidate😃.
Our guide did a great job sharing so much information about the areas we traveled to, was very friendly...really enjoyed our tour!
We were picked up promptly at expected pick up time and transportation was in a comfortable van. Our guide was excellent with easy to understand English and he was very knowledgeable. The tour itself gave us a great overview of 3 beautiful districts in Lima. We would highly recommend this tour.
We really enjoyed the tour. Very interesting, not too fast of a pace, and Lucas was easy to understand. Beautiful districts. Definitely worth seeing.
The guide was really nice and took her time to tell us a lot about Lima and places to visit. Really recommend
A lovely tour, gives a chance to see the nicest parts of Lima. As a bonus, there is a stop by an immense pre-Inca pyramid, with a quick history recap.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Listened to and answered questions. Very interesting and informative survey of all the distinct neighborhoods of Lima.
Lovely tour, Sandy was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was well thought out and a nice mix of driving and walking.
Delightful guide Sandy and driver Ernesto. We enjoyed it quite a bit. A nice amount of walking at each of the three neighborhoods. Learned a lot.
We did the tour with three people and it was a fantastic experience — very rich and educational. Our guide Sandy was outstanding: she was super attentive, well-prepared, and really made the tour memorable. Highly recommended!
We spent most of our time in Barranco seeing the street art, historical places & monuments. We also got to Love Park in Miraflores. We had to cut the tour short for another engagement and didn't get to San Isidro area. Our guide was very knowledgeable but at times hard to understand.
This was such a lovely way to see some highlights of the artsy parts of Lima. Our guide was wonderful and made things very easy!
The tour was great, it covered what we wanted to see, the van was comfortable and the guide Sandy was knowledgeable.
This is a good overview of these neighborhoods. Unfortunately the bridge of sighs is under construction. Our guide Sandy was great.
My kids and I enjoyed the tour and Sandy. She was very knowledgeable to where we learned a lot about Perú and Peruvian culture and history. Sandy was willing to answer any questions and she was curious about us. I would highly recommend this tour.
Enjoyed the tour and visit of the 3 districts. Sandy our guide, was very informative and demonstrated her passion of her city of Lima.
Sandy was very informative and helpful. She took photos which she kindly forwarded afterward. Walking and car transport worked seamlessly
Informative helpful guide. Tour was 3 hours.
Our guide was Leidy who spoke very good English and her driver Victor was a good driver. Trip was a good mix of different areas of Lima with opportunities to walk through the Parks and squares.Enough time to take photographs and ask questions.
We are so pleased that we signed up for this tour. Our guide, Jonathan, was the very best guide anyone could want. In his very clean and comfortable vehicle, he took us to areas that we had not previously been after two separate excursions from our cruise ship. He communicated promptly and delivered a tour that exceeded our expectations. These sections of Lima are absolutely beautiful and very much worth the time to visit. Don’t miss out on this wonderful experience.
Great experience. Susan is very knowledgeable and friendly. She took us to all the key points. We loved the visit, highly recommended
Sandy was waiting for us in the lobby of our hotel room and greeted us warmly. She was very knowledgeable as we stopped at each of the parks and sights on our list. The driver, Gherson, was also excellent. I would recommend this guided tour to anyone who is traveling to Lima for the first time.
Lima has 11 million ppl & is relatively poor capital. Only safe barrios are Miraflorers (lots of police & guards visible to protectie tourism) and Borranco. Friendly local ppl & reasonable food at fair prices. Respectfully: nice but not so impressing to stay longer than 2-3 days. Safe taxi’s from international airport & 40 minutes drive to Lima centre @usd 20.
Good value. Informative guide. Small group. See several local sites. Let someone experienced cope with the traffic.
We really enjoyed our tour. Sandy our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She took us to three areas and we saw so much
The tour bus picked us up around 9 am. They communicated with us immediately after we booked the tour, a day prior. We were with other couple from Dominican Republic. Our tour guide was Leidy and the tour covered the places as mentioned. The places we visited were okay but not anything special.
Fantastic tip to tip. Lucas was a great guide, full of a wide breadth of knowledge that he delivered conversationally in perfect English. We were a family group comprised of 3 generations with varying mobility and attention spans but he somehow took us all over Lima in a way that we all thoroughly enjoyed. Great find!
We had a fun day exploring with Jonathan! We loved seeing all the neighborhoods in Lima! Jonathan was a great guide!
This was a great tour. Jonathon was full of information about these areas and Peruvian history. Thanks Jonathan!
Jonathan was a great guide and we loved our tour! Very knowledgeable and polite. All the three areas were amazing
Sandy was fabulous! We learned a lot about the local areas, Barranco, Miraflores and San Isidro. Great time!
Alexandra and Victor were the best hosts of this tour. This tour is a MUST when you are in Lima. Alexandra is wonderful - very knowledgeable professional, very positive, well communicated. She tels the information in very exciting way and it's never boring. Perfect English and very nice attitude. The places we visit are probably very hard to organize yourself to visit in a day and the combination is really well thought. Highly recommended. All 7 of us were very happy with the experience.
Tour was great! We learned a lot! We enjoyed seeing the different neighborhoods and learning about Lima!
Tour was very informative And interesting… with a lot of details into the places visited ,our tour guide Sandy was really nice and helpful and even acted as our photographer on occasion. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Sandy was an excellent guide with great knowledge of the local area, history and culture. The areas visited on the tour were really picturesque and interesting.
Our group was pretty disappointed with this tour. 3 of the places we went were closed either for cleaning & maintenance or just closed for the day. Overall - it felt like there was no plan and the tour guide just pointed out random things while we walked in a couple spots (hey - look in that window, they are teaching a dance class for one of our traditional dances). Not very informative and wouldn't recommend.
We were collected from our hotel and then driven in a very comfortable vehicle to the different districts in Lima. We then got out and walked whilst Sandy, our guide, told us about the history of the area. When you are in a city for only a few days, I think walking tours are a good way to see and learn about that city.
Grear trip, Sandy our Guide was extremely polite and helpful. The tour was excelent and we spent the time on each point as neeeded. The explanations were very clear and interesting. I would recommend it
My boyfriend and I went on a tour with Sandy and truly enjoyed ourselves. We were well educated by her, she clearly has a love for her country. The tour was very special.
Our guide Lucas was great. We learned a lot about these three areas. We enjoy Barranco especially. It was a nice trip.
awesome. great guide Sandy. She was amazing. She gave us the history of our stops. Was very knowledgeable and plesant
We had only one day in Lima and this was a great tour to give us a taste of several neighborhoods. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a good combination of riding in their van and walking around sites.
If you are looking for a tour that perfectly blends history, culture, and the vibrant pulse of modern Peruvian life, look no further. Our walking tour through Miraflores, Barranco, and San Isidro with Sandy was an absolute highlight of our trip to Lima. From the very beginning, Sandy was punctual, meeting us right on time with a bright smile, and her attentiveness was evident throughout the entire day. She constantly checked in to ensure we were comfortable, answered all our questions and adjusted the pace to suit our needs. She didn't just give us dates and facts; she wove together fascinating stories and interesting insights that gave us a genuine understanding of each district's unique character. From the cliffside parks and Huaca Pucllana in Miraflores, to the bohemian soul and colorful streets of Barranco, to the sleek financial heart of San Isidro, Sandy provided context that brought everything to life. She shared cultural nuances, and local recommendations that you simply cannot get from a guidebook. Her kindness and passion for her country were infectious, making the tour feel like we were being shown around by a knowledgeable friend. We ended the tour not only with beautiful photos but with a much deeper appreciation for Lima and its people. This is a must-do for any visitor to Lima!
It was an enjoyable half-day trip. Saw some beautiful Lima neighborhoods. The guide (Sandy) was competent, friendly and attentive to our needed. She had a good command of local history and shared with us some interesting legends.
I had the absolute pleasure of joining Susan’s Miraflores, Barranco & San Isidro tour, and it was one of the highlights of my trip to Lima. From the moment we met, Susan’s warmth and professionalism stood out. She has an incredible way of blending history, culture, and local stories that brought each district to life in a way no guidebook ever could. In Miraflores, she gave us fascinating insights into the coastal views and modern vibe of the district, making sure we didn’t just see the landmarks but truly understood their place in Lima’s identity. Barranco was a treat — Susan’s storytelling turned its colorful streets, street art, and bohemian charm into a living canvas. By the time we explored San Isidro, she had seamlessly shifted gears to highlight its elegance, green spaces, and historical importance. What impressed me most was how Susan tailored the experience to our interests, making the tour feel personal and engaging. She was attentive, answered every question with patience and depth, and made sure we experienced both the must-see highlights and hidden gems. Her passion for Lima is contagious, and her knowledge is remarkable. I walked away not only with great photos but also with a real connection to the city and its culture. I can’t recommend Susan’s tour highly enough — whether it’s your first time in Lima or you’ve visited before, she will show you the city in a way you’ll never forget.
This semi-private tour is designed for small groups and offers a relaxed pace, with only light walking involved—nothing strenuous. Our guide, Leidi, was fantastic—warm, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about Peruvian culture and history. It’s a great way to explore Miraflores, and my personal highlight was the Parque del Amor, which offers breathtaking views over the bay. This tour was the perfect way to wrap up our trip to Peru—highly recommended!
