This was a great tour. They picked us up from the hotel on time. There was water and cookies waiting for us in the van. It ended up being a private tour for the two of us. We drove around the city for a little while looking at sites. Our tour guide spoke excellent English and gave a nice history of the buildings. We stopped first at the convent and catacombs and she was able to skip the lines to get in and keep us ahead of all of the other tour groups to avoid the crowds a bit. We went around the square and saw the city buildings as well. There was a wedding that we stopped to watch for a bit. She then took us to the water circuit show and showed us the fountains and the history of each and recommended the best places to watch the water show. It was very nicely done and all of the entrance fees were included (except 2 soles for the bathroom in the water circuit if you needed it).

Jessica was the most remarkable tour guide. I encourage you to request her services and plan around her availability. We take Viator tours a lot, in various countries, and we have NEVER been as impressed by a tour guide as we were with Jessica. The church and catacombs were cool and the fountains were fun. Jessica was amazing.
An amazing tour with beautiful views. Also the tour guide was phenomenal and very knowledgeable. I would totally do it again.
From pick up to drop off this tour was awesome. Kenyi skillfully drove us from site to site in busy traffic. Walter was a wealth of knowledge explaining the Convent, catacombs, historic downtown and Circuito Magica Del Aqua.Always seeing if we had any questions. Walter also took pictures for us and video as our phone wasn’t taking good pictures. He forwarded them to us after the tour so we have some great pictures and video. A fun professional tour we really enjoyed
Wow!!! We were all so so impressed, I can completely see why this is the best water show in the world. Unbelievable, and only for 4 PEN! Make sure you buy yourself a churro too
Our tour guide was awesome!! Explained everything in detail and easy to understand. Very knowledgeable in her area of the toyr
Catacombs were fascinating. Mayrol was very informative. and full of knowledge. The water show was spectacular
Guide was great. Just seemed to spend more time in traffic then at the attractions but I suppose that’s just Lima. Catacombs fascinating and fully explained. Water fountains bit of a let down. Just a projected show onto the fountains
This is a great way to see the catacombs and light show. Although you could see these places more cheaply independently, the combination of a knowledgeable tour guide (we had Susan show us around, she had so much local knowledge… right down to the best photo opportunities) and transport (we had Kenyi drive us around) allows you to get much more out of the experience, whilst feeling very safe.
Lucas was a great guide! We enjoyed seeing the catacombs and the water show was so interesting. It was so great to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. The driver was great
Amazing experience, and it's all thanks to Alex! She was so friendly and very knowledgeable about Peru and Lima. We learned a lot about the history of Peru, and she also gave us a lot of information as we walked through the historic area of Lima. The Water Magic Circuit was a really cool experience and the bicentennial show was impressive, giving a concise, visual summary of Peru's history. Wonderful evening and it far exceeded my expectations.
The catacombs was very interesting and the light show was spectacular. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had many dates and information for us.
Very interesting tour! It included more sites than I expected. The guide was very knowledgable and friendly. We had lots of fun and learned some things too!
A Great way to see Lima! The catacombs and water show were so cool. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and our guide was awesome!
A very nice tour of Lima. Simple but well executed, it allows you to take in a lot of what Lima has to offer in a short space of time. The catacombs and the magic water show are great experiences. Italo our tour guide spoke good English, and was very thorough and easy to get along with. Definitely recommend.
The catacombs were a very interesting experience. We learned a lot about the religious history of the city. After, the water fountain display was very cool. Seeing how they incorporated Peruvian history into the water features was wonderful.
Seeing the fountains at night was amazing. Puts the Bellagio a bit to shame. The colours, the lights and the amazing laser and picture projection was off the charts. It was a beautiful park and the light show is a must. Lots of room and good views but not a lot of seating. Most people had to stand.

My ten-year-old daughter and her 13-year-old friend went on this tour with me. Our guide's name was Walter. It was us, Walter and the driver. We saw the laser light show beamed onto the fountain. Interesting concept. It told the story of Peru in lighted images. Then we walked under a long canopy of fountain water where we had our picture taken for approximately seven dollars. Finally, the children played in fountains springing up from the ground. We were there in October so the night was chilly it being early spring in Peru. My daughter got her pants wet and I asked Walter if we could stop at a store downtown to buy her another pair of pants and that's what we did. We drove on to El Beso or The Kiss. It is a park in Miraflores where the main attraction is this gigantic statue of a man and a woman locked in tight embrace and kissing. There were mostly couples milling around.

Downtown, we went to the Church of San Francisco. Walter told us all about this church. We had been to the church the previous day and the catacombs underneath it are really worth the visit. Franciscan monks are still being buried there. In addition to the catacombs, the colorful tiles, intricate woodwork, the library of rare books and statues of the martyrs and how they were killed are all memorable and educational.

Walter and the driver took us back to the Westin Hotel in San Isidro. The best part of the tour was the chance to get out of the hotel room at night and go somewhere with the children safely and pleasantly. I think it's a great idea. The only thing I would suggest is to add another destination or two to the itinerary. Even a stop by the Pacific Ocean to listen to the surf and breathe the fresh ocean air would be nice. The smog in Lima is extreme. We never saw a blue sky or the sun the whole week we were there. Herman Melville author of Moby Dick called Lima, Peru the strangest and saddest city in the whole world. He would know. He spent his life sailing around the world.

The fountains were amazing. I would recommend going there. This tour, however is not one I would recommend. The guide arrived on time but the driver was more than a half hour late. Then he had a car that was not appropriate for the number of people. The guide sat in the front and my husband and granddaughter and I were crammed in the back seat. If we had truly been 3 adults which we paid for we would not have fit. We almost didn't make it to the start of the fountain show. Had to run through the park to get there. The box lunch dinner which was included was finally given to us as they dropped us off at the hotel at 11:30 pm. I had asked several times for it and all along it was in the trunk of the car. If yoiu can find another provider, go with them.

This was a private tour and my guide was highly informative and interesting. We covered the water show and the city at night by car and by walking. We were able to see churches , buildings of importance, squares and other historical sites. I was especially impressed by the knowledge and personality of our guide. He did an outstanding job.

Private tour meant just me and the guide - as far removed from the normal grayline mass production as can be imagined!!!
Very pleasant and the magic water park is truly awesome.
Highly recommended.

Apart from the Water Park pretty spectacular, the rest of the tour consisted of a drive-past but with an informative and interesting English-speaking driver/guide. As it happened, the Independence Day holiday meant the Plaza de Armas main square was closed to traffic: had I not previously had the opportunity to visit on foot with another tour, I would have been more disappointed.

We enjoyed the night tour very much. It was a small group, just me, my husband and one other lady, which was nice. The tour guide, Alfredo, was very knowledgeable and showed us all of the highlights of the historic centre. It was lovely all lit up. The fountain park was beautiful too with all the illuminated fountains and the music/light show was amazing, the hilite of the evening. Well worth doing if you have some time in Lima.

The guide did not know that the fountain illumination display was CLOSED on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Very disappointed. He was able to arrange a visit to the San Francisco church and monastery which was very interesting.

Excellent tour, Maria our guide explained very well the history of the church and the catacombs, as well as other interesting facts of Lima. The waters show very nice and entertaining. Mention apart Maria's willingness and kindness that she had with my grandmother as she presented some problems as an older adult but Maria helped a lot so that she could also enjoy the experience. 10000% recommended
Ficamos muito satisfeitas com o passeio e com o guia, que demonstrou muito conhecimento. Além disso, o guia foi muito atencioso. Super recomendo.
