This was a great experience and a great way to see Lima. Gonzalo was friendly, accommodating, and clearly really values his work and his clients. He tailored the tour to meet our personal needs and gave us time at each stop to explore and do what we wanted. He was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun! Small intimate group and such a great way to explore the city. I’d highly recommend this experience!

Itinerary
Meet your guide in the heart of Miraflores, where we'll get everyone comfortably fitted on their bikes, go over a brief safety introduction and start our ride. It's the perfect place to get to know the group before setting off to discover Lima's most scenic neighborhoods.
Ride through the peaceful olive groves of El Olivar, one of Lima's oldest and most beautiful parks. Stop to discover the original stone mill used to produce olive oil centuries ago, then continue to a tranquil lagoon where birds, turtles and other local wildlife can often be seen. Along the way, learn how this historic olive grove has remained a hidden oasis in the middle of modern Lima.
Stop outside Huaca Pucllana, an impressive adobe pyramid built more than 1,500 years ago, right in the middle of modern Lima. Learn about the fascinating history of this pre-Inca ceremonial site while enjoying excellent photo opportunities from the outside. The tour does not enter the archaeological site, so no admission ticket is required. Travelers do not enter the site, so there is no mandatory admission fee required during the tour.
Ride through Miraflores on a network of bike lanes before reaching the city's spectacular coastal boardwalk. From the Marina Lighthouse, enjoy sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean as your guide shares stories about Lima's unique cliffs, coastline and seaside lifestyle.
Stop at Lima's famous Love Park, known for its colorful mosaics, iconic sculpture and breathtaking views over the Pacific Ocean. Take time to enjoy the scenery, capture memorable photos and learn why this has become one of the city's most visited landmarks.
Stop beside the Paddington Bear statue for a view of Larcomar, Lima's unique shopping and entertainment center built into the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. From street level, it's almost hidden from view, making it a place many visitors don't discover on their own. Your guide will point it out and explain why it's worth coming back later to shop, dine or simply enjoy the oceanfront setting.
Discover the quieter side of Barranco as you enter Lima's most artistic and historic neighborhood. Stop at the Peace Bridge before cycling along the beautiful Sáenz Peña avenue, lined with restored mansions, boutique hotels, galleries and museums. Continue to the charming San Francisco Square, where you'll experience the authentic character and architecture that make Barranco so special.
Enjoy free time to explore Barranco's most iconic area at your own pace. Stroll through the charming Bajada de Baños, admire colorful street art, browse local shops or simply relax around the famous Bridge of Sighs. Before beginning the ride back to Miraflores, make one final stop at the Bresciani Viewpoint for breathtaking views over the Pacific Ocean and, on many afternoons, a spectacular sunset.
Cycle back from Barranco to the meeting point in Miraflores, experiencing the contrast between two of Lima's most iconic neighborhoods one last time. Along the way, feel free to ask your guide for local recommendations to help you make the most of the rest of your stay in Lima.

Gonzalo is the owner / operator who has spent most of his life in Lima. He’s an exceptional guide / host. The bikes are in “like new” condition and great quality. The ride hits the three districts that run along the coast. Great things to see and the ride is not hard. Highly recommended if you’d like to cover a lot of area in a reasonable time.
Exploring Lima by bike with Gonzalo was an absolute highlight of our trip. Cycling with just my partner and I at a relaxed, safe pace, Gonzalo showed us incredible local gems you won't find on typical tours. He’s super warm, funny, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly loves the city he grew up in! Along the way, he took awesome photos and videos of us (lots of great candids!), and even spent an extra 45 minutes just chatting and sharing recommendations that proved to be delicious the next day. Couldn't recommend him enough! Oh and also more delicious Peruvian surprises at the end!
To have a guide who is passionate about what he does makes all the difference. My friend and I absolutely loved touring on 2 wheels. If you cycle you already know the thrill of cycling, if you don’t cycle then if you can then give yourself a chance.
We recently took a 4.5 hour bike tour with Rueda Lima. My wife and I loved the tour. The tour guide, Gonzalo, set a very comfortable pace and asked several times if the pace was good. We saw 3 different districts, a number of interesting sites in each one, and finished with a beautiful sunset over the beaches of Barranco. The bikes were all very new and the group size was purposely small (only 3 and the owner said he tries to limit to six). Gonzalo, was very safe and always made sure the crossing trafic had stopped before having us go through the intersection. We really enjoyed the trip, learned a lot, and highly recommend this tour to really see a good part of Lima in a short time!!!
Amazing 5 stars bike tour! We loved discovering about the city on our bicycles, we would have never guessed all those hidden gems. The pace of the tour was very friendly, 4 hour felt the perfect length for us. Gonzalo, our guide, is very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about his city, Lima. It really felt touring with a local, something we highly appreciated. Bikes were very comfortable, and driving them was very safe with Gonzalo's advices. Highly recommended! Very nice way to discover those districts and history of the city!
We had a great bike tour with Gonzalo! He took us to interesting places around San Isidro, Miraflores and Barranco. We appreciate that stops were good combination of less touristy and popular spots. We enjoyed his little stories making it for a more interesting tour. We highly recommend him, a great way to enjoy Lima in short period of time.
This tour was fantastic! Was such a good way to see Lima and our guide was so informative and helpful. Would highly recommend.
On Sunday afternoon, I joined a 4-hour guided bike tour through Miraflores, Barranco, and San Isidro, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Lima is surprisingly easy and enjoyable to explore by bike. The bikes provided are high-quality and make riding around the city a lot of fun. Gonzalo always had a great overview of the traffic and surroundings, so we felt safe and well looked after throughout the entire tour. On top of that, Gonzalo is a very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable guide. He answered every question we had (and we had quite a few) and you can really tell how passionate he is about his job and about sharing Lima with visitors. I also really appreciated that the tours are limited to a maximum of six people. This keeps the group size small and allows Gonzalo to make the tour feel personal and tailor it to the group’s interests and speed. The tour is absolutely worth the price and a fantastic way to get to know Lima from a different perspective. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
Had such a good time! The guide was such a sweet and funny guy, really accommodating during the whole ride. Feels safe even in the busy roads. 10/10 would recommend!
Gonzalo was amazing! He was knowledgeable and you could see how much he loved showing us the sites in his city. We would have not gotten to explore all the areas he took us to on any other tour. He was patient when we wanted to explore some of the sites where he brought us and also took pictures and videos during the tour which he sent us after. This was an excellent tour and such an enjoyable experience! It is a must do while you are in Lima.
Had a great experience. Saw a lot more than anticipated. Great way to get the layout of Lima and to go to places you may not otherwise consider. Super guide. Highly recommend.
Once in a while you come away from a tour feeling like you’ve made a friend, maybe even the type of friend you will look up next time you are in town. That’s how it was with us and Gonzalo. We found him in an unusual way… we were taking photos in Parque Kennedy when this random dude (Gonzalo) rode up on a bike and asked if we would be interested in a tour. Our normal knee-jerk reaction to such encounters is, “No, gracias” but Gonzalo was so authentic and warm that we engaged. We booked a tour right away. Gonzalo knows all the best places and hidey-holes to explore around Barranco and we loved learning about the neighborhood. We serendipitously rode up on a small wedding at Gonzalo’s favorite church and took some great footage of the attendees and the ceremony. What an unexpected treat! But honestly all the cool stuff we saw was secondary to how we were treated. Gonzalo was so attentive, so committed to keeping us safe, so dedicated to giving us great memories and so laid back that we couldn’t help feeling laid back too. We felt completely taken care of. I recommend this experience for anyone who can ride a bike and who wants a personal, well-curated tour of the coast and of Barranco. And we will be in touch with Gonzalo when we get back to Lima!
This is an incredible experience!! We had such a lovely time, it was an easy ride with very comfy bikes and you got to see so many beautiful sights around Miraflores, San Isidro and Barranco. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and gave you as much time as you needed to take pictures and enjoy the sights along the way! Thanks so much for making our time in Lima unforgettable! This is definitely a must-do tour if you want to explore the districts along the coast!
We had a fantastic bike tour with Rueda Lima Tours. It was the perfect way to experience Lima, cycling through San Isidro, Miraflores and Barranco. We were able to explore so much including must-see Lima highlights, an amazing coastline, and lots of hidden gems. The bikes provided were extremely comfortable and of high quality. Our fantastic guide provided a warm and welcoming environment, a very safe and professional service, alongside lots of intimate local knowledge. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested as it was a great experience in Lima.
Great experience, a bike tour of Lima with Gonzalo who is super nice, really friendly and who has plenty of stories to share about Lima and plenty of good advice.. I highly recommend this ride, do not hesitate at all!!
The excursion was great! We went through several neighborhoods, making it possible to learn curiosities and interesting things to do in each one, in addition to learning more about the history of each part of the city of Lima we passed through. The guide is lovely! Left the bikes all set up for us, with water and energy bars to recharge the batteries during the ride. Highly recommended experience!
The tour was incredibly fun. For me, the best way to explore Miraflores and Barranco. Gonzalo is a super guide! Highly recommended without reservation.
Excellent experience! We did the 4-hour bike tour with Gonzalo, who took us to see iconic places in Lima but also showed us some that were special to him. He not only provided us with interesting information but it led to good conversations that made us have a pleasant time. The tour was relaxed and you can tell he is passionate about what he does. We recommend it!
A fabulous experience to explore the neighborhoods of Miraflores, Barranco, and San Isidro in a different way. Gonzalo adapts to the pace and ensures that the tour is exceptional
Wonderful tour. Gonzalo was super friendly and knows a lot; he shared a ton of history about everything we were seeing. The path you travel is beautiful, safe, and very enjoyable. It provides everything you need - helmets for all sizes and the bicycles are in impeccable condition, new, with good suspension and brakes, which is super important for riding comfortably and safely.
