After a snafu at the start, Bruce pivoted very quickly and provided us with an extraordinary personalized experience. We ventured to places we definitely would not have thought to explore on our own and had some amazing authentic dishes. We didn't have room for dinner... The ceviche from a street vendor was the best thing I ate the entire week of travel through Peru, edging out fried cebiche at Huaca Pacllana. Bruce also was very invested in sharing the history with us and bringing it forward to current. We took interesting bits with us to research and learn more. Beyond the tour, Bruce sent us suggestions for places/things to eat in the cities we would be visiting. Every one we tried from his list was amazing! Highly recommend Inka Pride, and definitely at beginning of your trip!

Best tour we had in all of Peru! Our tour guide was amazing! I highly recommend this tour!!!!!!!!!!!
This is one of the best tours we have ever done. Bruce was superb. He is knowledgeable, considerate and entertaining in equal measure. He treated us to sights, flavours and aromas off the beaten track and we are truly thankful to him for showing us where to sample such great food. It was a blast.
We had a great day with Bruce on the food tour. His English is excellent, he tells good food related stories and is a character taking us to places we would never have found and eating food we would never have tried. If we hadn't been so tired from jet lag we'd have done more tours. We were pleased to support an LGBTQi business in Peru. We'll
Absolutely amazing!!! We did the street food tour in Lima Centre and had the best time with Bruce. He was so knowledgeable, warm and friendly and so much fun to hang out with. We tried so many different dishes and fruits and drinks and were completely stuffed by the end. Bruce was so generous with his time, staying with us beyond the scope of the tour for a drink, and it was a great way to see a less touristy part of Lima. Would highly recommend!!!!
Look no further than this tour if you're seeking the hyper local street food with the reassurance of food safety and quality. It turns out that ceviche from a hole in the wall beats any fancy restaurant. You'll get to try an eclectic array of Peruvian foods like Chinese, African, Italian as well as piping hot crispy snacks and fresh fruit. You'll get to know about the history, politics and culture of Lima while eating us your way around the the incredibly beautiful and chaotic city centre.
Absolute 5-star experience! We had to make a last-minute booking, and Bruce went completely above and beyond to accommodate us without missing a beat. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and instantly felt like a part of the family. Bruce is incredibly knowledgeable about his heritage and introduced us to some absolutely phenomenal local food—the ceviche and tacu tacu were easily my absolute favorites! The absolute highlight of our trip was spending the rest of the night hanging out with his beautiful momma at the circus! It was such a special, unforgettable evening. If you want amazing accommodations and host hospitality that feels like home, book with Bruce. We can't wait to come back!
Best street food tour I’ve ever been on! Bruce is a very genuine and friendly guide who showed us the ‘real’ side of Lima. It felt authentic, fun and slightly spontaneous, which lead us to places and food we’d never have discovered on our own. Highly recommended.
Bruce was full of knowledge and very accommodating. You really get a huge bang for your buck on this tour. I can’t even keep track of how many different foods we tried and we covered a lot of cool and popular areas in centro.
Amazing your food and guide. All the food was 10/10 along with great stories and company. I highly recommend
This was the most amazing food tour - Bruce, the tour guide had so many good and funny stories, we felt safe and so full of food we would have otherwise not found. The food was exeptional and super original. We highly recommended Inka Pride Tours.
Had an awesome time with Bruce from Inka Pride Tours as my food tour guide. Bruce met us and took us on the local bus to outside the ultra-touristy area to local joints with delicious, Peruvian food. The food included local street food as well as Amazonian cuisine. Bruce was entertaining, passionate, very informative about the culture and history of Peru, and treated us like friends that he was showing around his neighbourhood - lots of places that you wouldn’t know to find as a gringo. Would recommend 100%
Amazing tour with Bruce. He knows everything about the foodie scene in Lima and we now have such an appreciation for Lima cuisine!
Bruno will bring you to his favourite top tier spots and I can confirm they were great! We tried different dishes and while on our way to the next stops he explained the history and origins of several dishes or why they were popular in Lima.
Great tour, delicious foods and the ceviche was unforgettable 😋
Amazing tour with Bruce. He is so knowledgeable about everything Peru, its food and so much more. He has a way of making you feel like a friend instead of a customer. Even went the extra mile of walking me to my uber. Highly recommend booking a tour with him, you will not be disappointed!
A tour exactly as described 😊 An absolute highlight for street food lovers. Bruce took us to great places we would never have found otherwise. Many thanks to Bruce for the fantastic tour!
I did the food tour with Bruce... wow! Very interesting. He's respectful and makes you think. A really good tour. He showed me some great insider tips and things you wouldn't find as a tourist. I'm a chef and I've done my homework, but he showed me the best cervix. I can only recommend it if you're interested in food. Greetings from Sardinia!
Bruce was an excellent guide. We tried many, many delicacies and learned about the local culture. Would highly recommend this tour.
This tour was the highlight of our time in Lima (a week later we’re still talking about it at home). We spent over three hours walking the streets of Lima, trying delicious food and learning about Perú’s history and culture. We tried around ten different dishes, representing different parts of the country, as well as different cultures and origins. Bruce, our tour guide, was amazing and very knowledgeable. We knows every corner of Lima, as well as every person we had food in with. It was a unique opportunity to ask lots of questions and have fun in the process. And we did all this with a four month old baby!! Bruce knows exactly where he’s taking you, so we felt safe going with him to the non-touristy parts of Lima center. The price is so worth it. We tried over ten dishes. We even went to a market to try fresh vegetables and fruits. We were so full at the end that we skipped dinner. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. If you do one paid tour in Lima, choose the one!
Had a fantastic tour of the street food in Lima, some real gems, and tried food I hadn't before. Great fun from our tour guide Bruce, he was witty, well informed and enthusiastic. Really enhanced my visit to Lima, couldn't recommend it enough
Great way to get a teaste of Lima! Be prepared to eat and experience a lot. Lima Pride takes you to places where you would not go on your own but that are true local gems. Really re commend it if you are into experiencing the city ölke a local.
Had an exiting foodtour with Bruce. Interesting stories with lots of information on the history, customs and the food. A large part was out of the touristic center, showed us places where we as tourists usualy don’t come and eat as places we normally will not find! Loved it!
Bruce is a brilliant tour guide! Go in with an open mind and an empty stomach and you'll have an amazing time!
Bruce did a wonderful job and made the tour both interesting and fun. Very outgoing attentive enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Would do it again
Gianella was a fantastic guide. She took us to little hole in the wall places to try Peruvian street food that we would never have found alone. Also she gave us a lot of interesting info on the different fruits and food while explaining how they fitted into the country’s culture. Would definitely recommend!
Bruce was an incredible guide — knowledgeable, passionate, and full of energy. He took us through hidden corners of Lima that we never would’ve found on our own, introducing us to authentic local dishes, family-run stalls, and the fascinating stories behind each bite. His explanations of Peru’s food history and ingredients made everything come alive, and he created such a fun, easygoing atmosphere throughout the tour. The pacing was perfect, and we felt safe and cared for the entire time. From anticuchos to picarones, every stop was delicious and thoughtfully chosen. Bruce’s enthusiasm for Peruvian culture is infectious — it truly felt like exploring with a local friend who loves sharing his city. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lima — it’s a must-do experience, and Bruce is the heart of it!

We spent a 5 stars foody tour with Bruce. Very knowledgeable, patient with his explanations. It was nice to know the origin of the Peruvian food. Very agreeable time. We highly recommend Bruce and Inka Pride Tours for smart fun while eating.
Bruce was an amazing guide, super friendly and funny! Full of knowledge and stories, he took us to hidden spots and places that our family would have never ventured to. Everything we had to eat was delicious and I can definitely recommend him. 5 stars!
Great tour with interesting explanations and amazing food! Guide was very engaged and enjoyed showing us the real non touristy Lina
Incredible tour with Bruce! We ate so much delicious local food and learned a lot about the culture along the way. This is an area of Lima we would never have ventured into on our own, and we’re so glad we had the chance to experience it with such a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Highly recommended! Eat a small breakfast before!
We had a great few hours with Bruce learning about Lima food, history, and culture. He took us to some areas of Lima we wouldn't have seen otherwise, and to eateries not on the maps! The food and the disco sours were delicious, and the info he gave us was really interesting and different to other tours we'd been on. Would recommend!
Bruce was very nice, we had a great time and learned a lot about Peru and its food. He also offers many other tours. Thanks, Bruce.
Guide Bruce was great, gave a very honest and educated opinion on a lot of very cree rap topics. Food he took us to was great and of a wide variety. Don’t eat the chilis, they are very hot.
Bruce is awesome! He showed us hidden corners of Lima that we would have never seen. We loved all the wonderful things to eat and appreciated his depth of knowledge and passion for the cultural importance and history of Peruvian dishes.
Bruce was absolutely amazing! He was energetic, knowledgeable, respectful, entertaining, mindful, and very careful with respect to my gluten allergy. I would highly recommend Bruce and this tour.
Our tour was amazing. We tried so much food, we wouldn't have found on our own. We saw Chinatown and Markets and heard about the history of Peru. Bruce is a really funny guy and we had an amazing afternoon! Thanks so much, I can really recommend it!
We had an amazing street food tour with Bruce. All the dishes were delicious but the best part was Bruce's knowledge not just about the food but the history & culture of Peru. Highly recommend.
Our tour with Bruce was awesome! It felt very off the beaten track, all dishes were interesting and lots were very delish. Bruce was a great guide, a highly recommended tour from 2 kiwis.
I had such a great time on this food walking tour in Lima with Bruce. The tour was incredibly well-curated — we tasted a wide variety of interesting Peruvian foods, fruits, and even some spicy chilli! I left feeling absolutely full and very happy. Bruce was an excellent guide — knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about Peruvian cuisine and its history. He shared so many fascinating insights that really added depth to the experience. It was the perfect blend of delicious tasting and cultural learning. Highly recommend if you want to explore the flavours and stories behind Peruvian food!
The food vendors we visited offered some of the most amazing tasting food we had had in Lima to date. We started with corn and cheese, a simple dish but one to get the stomach ready for the upcoming delicacies. We then moved on to a street corner full of vendors. Here we sampled cow heart and intestines. Unsure of how this was going to taste, I was excited to try something new. The heart had a surprisingly different, but extremely delicious, peppery taste to it. A huge surprise, and one I would eat again. 10/10 rating. The intestine was similar to eating calamari with more flavour. We moved on to a stuffed potato, different as it was mashed potatoes with meat, garlic, and a few other things. 9/10 rating. We had a traditional Peruvian meal, sorry I cannot remember the name; spaghetti, potatoes, and chicken. 8/10. Then we had the most delicious ceviches mad by a street vendor. We had the top rated ceviches in Miraflores at Punto Azul and it was top notch. This one was a step above. You can see the care and dedication he put in to creating this recipe. 11/10. We visited a market where we sampled local fruits and vegetables. The tour finished with two desserts. The first being a rice pudding and red corn sauce. Yummy, 7/10 from me as a rating. Then some delicious donuts with syrup. Such a top rated tour. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Lima, you get the true taste of made Lima and Peru a top food destination of the world. Book this when you are in Lima.
Nothing comes close! Bruce's guide to Lima had trumped all other walking tours in South America for me. We started with the Lima street food tour - and ended up loving it so much that we went straight into his Lima History tour (5 hours in total - loved every minute). No scripts, just thoughtful and incredibly adept knowledge of the cities history and anthropologly. Uniquely, his insight cannot be found on wiki, as it stems from his incredible efforts to gain knowledge from local historians, poets, authors, chefs and artists that hold the real truth to understanding and enjoying Limas (And Perus) culture. If you want to stay away from the tourist traps, scripted walking tours and unrealistic reprisitations of Lima - Stick with Bruce. Moreover, he was an exceptional person, fun and extremely passionate about cultural exchange. A unique jem and amazing tour.
We had an amazing range of street food and learned so much about Peruvian cuisine and culture. The guide was friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. We had a great day with him, and even went out for drinks with him afterwards. Such a fun day!
By far the best tour, let alone food tour I have ever taken. Overall experience was amazing, visited local hole in the walls and street vendors experiencing many different types of local Peruvian foods, in places you would never be able to find, and also lots learning about the different dishes along with other aspects of Peruvian culture. The food was amazing, Bruce was very knowlegable and also tailored the experience to the different members of the group. 10/10 experience and would recommend to anyone wanting to experience not only the local cuisine in Lima but also its culture.
