Lima City In 1 Day - Lima Highlights! (Small Group)

I had a great experience on this Lima city tour, made even better by our guide, Jonathan. He was friendly, welcoming, and very informative throughout the day. What impressed me most was how well he handled the group. There was another couple who only spoke Spanish, but Jonathan made sure everyone felt included and looked after, balancing both languages smoothly. The itinerary covered all the key highlights, and the skip-the-line access at the San Francisco Museum was definitely worth it — we avoided a long queue and got straight in. Overall, a well-organised and enjoyable tour. Highly recommended!

A lovely day in Lima! Great weather and tour covered the Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro areas as well as downtown areas, Plaza de Armas, the cathedral and catacombs....a full day. We had lunch at Panchita and it was delicious Peruvian food. Both Susan and Jonathan were very friendly and enthusiastic about sharing the history and culture of their country and city. Thank you guys for a wonderful day in Lima.

Sandy was very engaging, approachable, and knowledgable. I had very limited time in Lima and this was a good way of seeing a lot of highlights without feeling rushed or deprived.

Lucas was a great tour guide. He was very engaging and highly knowledgeable about the history and the important details regarding each place we went to today. His English was clear and easy to understand, and his responses to questions were really good and thoughtful. He would be high on the recommendation list to others desiring to do this tour.

Had never been to Lima and was able to see and understand many of the city’s highlights! The transportation was also very good and timely.

Great way to see the key sights and sites in one day. Guide Alvaro was very helpful and flexible, allowing the group extra time to do things like get money changed or buy water, and knew his history too. Barranco was lovely and the olive trees too.

We went with Alvaro for a one day tour today. Alvaro was a supremely outstanding guide, looked after us super well, and went out of his way to take special photos, as well as helping us find Peruvian products we wanted to buy. The walking tours in the downtown Lima, catacombs, Miraflores, Barack, and San Isidro were great fun plus its filled with lots of historical information.

Ok tour, but rather uninspiring, slow paced. Was expecting more, more interesting sites, highlights, entertaining experiences. Perhaps our expectations were too high after Cusco and Lake Titicaca. Perhaps an extra day in Titicaca and a less day in Lima.

This 1-day tour is a great summary of the highlights of Lima, and I can certainly recommend it to everyone. My guide Susan was super friendly, and she spoke English very well.

Willian (tour guide) was very good. Was able to manage a mixed group who spoke English and Spanish. Transportation was excellent.

This is an excellent 8 hour tour of Lima city. They picked us up from our hotel in Miraflores and then the first part of the tour started. This was a tour of the downtown area of Lima City along with a visit to the Catacombs. Our guide Jonathan explained the history really well. This was followed by a lunch break. In the afternoon we were shown all the important neighborhoods of Lima with stops at every neighborhood. Again Jonathan provided us great information about each neighborhood. We were finally dropped at our hotel. Excellent way to spend a day in Lima learningg about the rich history and culture of the city with a very knowledgeable guide who spoke English very well

This was a great full day tour of Lima. I felt like I got to see the very best of the city. We had a very small group of 3 ladies and our guide Willan was very good. He gave us just the right amount of information about each area. The catacombs were so unique. He suggested a wonderful restaurant for lunch and the Lomo Saltado was excellent. During the afternoon we were taken around by mini bus to several locations. Really enjoyed the seaside views of Miraflores and the art district of Barranco. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like to see the best of Lima in an organized and safe way.

William was a wonderful guide with detailed knowledge of history and everyday life Lima. Each district we visited was unique and interesting and William showed us everything in detail. There was quite a bit of walking but not too much. We especially liked the Monastery of San Francisco, with its wonderful library, choir and catacombs - at the time we were the only visitors there, so it felt very special. William answered all our questions and took us to a fabulous cafe for lunch. Jonathan was our driver and negotiated Lima’s crazy traffic skilfully. Our thanks to both of them, we had a fantastic day

We had amazing guide Willian and driver Ernesto. Very professional. Took their time in explaining everything in detail. They let us enjoy the parks. We did not feel rushed. Communication was perfect-driver would appear as soon as we were done. Thank you so much for introducing Lima to us in such a beautiful way!

This is a great way to see everything Lima has to offer- which in my opinion is not a lot but it is all spread out. Willian was a great guide! Super friendly and helpful. The tour ended up just being the two of us. We took a car to downtown and then met the guide. We walked around downtown until 11, then got lunch. Afterwards we took a car to Barranco and Miraflores with multiple stops to popular tourist areas. The catacombs were okay- no pictures allowed.

Willian was friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot, got to see a lot of different sites and learn the culture. We had a great time. Highly recommend.

The half day tour I took was the tour to visit Miraflores, San Isidro and Barranco. I was lucky as there were only 2 people joining the tour which provided a private sedan. Time needed was exactly correct as it was promoted. The guide performed well at the tour, professional and described the things properly. Information given was really helpful, not only because he brought mad and schematic drawing; but oral description was good using a good English. Both the guide and also the driver were polite; and also gentle by assisting us closing the car doors.

This is an amazing tour that highlights all the important sites in 1 day. Perfect if you have limited time in Lima or want to ensure you see it all. Our tour guide, Willam was not only knowledgeable and had great suggestions but was also extremely kind. William is a great asset to the company he works for and I would recommend you ask for him when booking this tour if you like an amazing experience. He also was able to show us to best spots in each location for pictures.

Nice tour of Lima with good guides. It is not great to have two guides in the same day!!!! It breaks the rhythm and the contact with the guides. Competent guides.

We loved the tour, especially the tour of old Lima. The capital surprised us with its cleanliness, organization and history. The guide Alexandra Monzón, runs too much in her explanations, knowledge and language exchange (speaking Portuguese perfectly).
