Paolo was an amazing guide-a gift for storytelling and informative as well, up for any questions asked! It can be tricky to accommodate a group but he did amazingly well. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

Jean our guide was great; he was knowledgeable and answered every question we had about the catacombs, the San Francisco church, and the Historic district. Henry our driver very good too. I highly recommend this tour to get a taste of Lima!

The tour was very well planned and executed. Pickup arrived a little earlier than stated but they communicated with us via WhatsApp so we were all on the same page. The market tour was very educational and fun. I enjoyed tasting some of Peru’s local fruits and the Pisco tasting stop was a fun highlight! The Catacombs was what I truly was interested in and our guide Klaudia was very versed on the Church and history of Peru so she provided excellent information and overall gave an enjoyable tour!

Amazing tour today with Paulo. I only had one day in Lima and I wanted to see the sights before flying to Cusco. Paulo crammed a lot into this half day tour while providing us with a brief history lesson on every place that we visited. We even stopped to enjoy a tasty Pisco Sour. Paulo was the best, he definitely deserved a five star rating.

I ended up in a private tour as a solo traveller, and Paolo was an amazing and very knowledgable guide - he shared so much about the history of Lima and the ancient civilisations who lived in the area.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered many of my questions. I learned a lot about Peru and it's history. As well as the catechombs and the various stops we took. I wasn't really sure what to expect before, but am very glad I chose Peruvian World tours.

Juan was incredible. Fluent English, great sense of humour and a real passion for sharing the history of Peru with others. It was honestly an amazing tour!

Alex was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took our group to the key spots and highlighted important points for all of us. He knew the history as well as interesting additional facts. He made sure to find me at my drop-off location and made sure I had my transportation back to my hotel. I felt safe the entire time, met some great people, and really enjoyed the experience.

We had some time to kill before our flight and booked on short notice. Our guide Cloudia was great! A private tour is the way to go. Highly recommend

This tour was great value for money. Our guide Juan was vey knowledgeable, articulate and friendly. We could not have asked for a better experience.

This was a bilingual tour. The guide Klaudia spoke good English and provided good information. We went to the Mercado and it was interesting to see local fruits and vegetables. She introduced us to the chirimoya fruit which we got to taste. The visit to the catacombs was a little morbid, but interesting. Centre of Lima has several beautiful buildings and churches. All in all was a good tour, giving a quick overview of Lima.

It was a small group so it felt like a private tour. Claudia was knowledgeable and shared lots of good and helpful information to us.

Fantastic tour of Lima if you have a couple of hours to spare. We were really immersed into the history of the historic quarter of Lima. Our guide Klaudia absolutely made it, she was fantastic. Her knowledge of everything from Peru’s history and population, to the weather, the catholic church and even Pisco sours was impressive.

Alexander focused on history, the relationship to the buildings, making it come alive. It was a small group of 2, (FIFA finals). The weekend parades were amazing!

Klaudia was an excellent guide. The tour was so interesting. Klaudia gave us so much information on the history of the catacombs and downtown Lima. It was an extra bonus that it was just my husband and me on the tour. I would recommend this tour, especially if Klaudia is your tour guide.

Complete and very interesting tour. We covered the main square , cathedral and a walk through Chinatown. A good introduction to the city of Lima.

This tour was really wonderful. They picked me up on time in a clean, comfortable van. My guide, Alex was amazing. He was super knowledgeable and taught me so much about Peruvian history in a relevant and memorable way. The catacombs were so cool and he shared so much information and answered all of my questions. Walking around the square and the market was awesome, felt safe, and I learned a ton!

Our tour of downtown Lima was incredible! Juan was an outstanding guide - knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about Peru & Lima's history. He brought the colonial architecture, the Plaza Mayor, and the city's rich past to life with stories that kept even our kids engaged the whole time. He balanced historical depth with fun, kid-friendly moments, making sure everyone in the family stayed interested. The pace was perfect and Juan happily answered all our questions. If you're visiting Lima with family, ask for Juan - you won't be disappointed! Our driver, Henry, was excellent too!

Great tour for a wonderful half day experience of historic Lima. Guide has tremendous knowledge of the area and history of Lima and Peru. Would recommend to anyone!

Alexander was an amazing tour guide. His knowledge of Incan and Spanish history was fabulous. We learned so much about Peruvian history. He gave us time for stops to try foods along the way and explained how the Chinese became part of Perus history. Ending the tour in city center after visiting the catacombs was the perfect ending to our tour. He took the time to help us get family photos and even dropped us off along the parks along the ocean so we could walk back to our hotel along the ocean. I would recommend this tour and Alexander to anyone interested in learning about Lima and the history of Peru and all the different blended cultures that make up the population.

Our guide Alexzander was amazing. Full of great information, able to answer any question anyone asked him. He gave us so much information about each place we went without making it too much. He pointed out different types of architecture and gave loads of cool facts on Peru's history. He also bought us some fruits at the central market to try which was a nice touch. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 was it just felt a bit rushed at times but I think this is because there was a couple who had to get home earlier than the 4 hours scheduled for the tour so the tour was under pressure to finish on time for them. Would highly recommend as a way to see central Lima safely and to learn loads of new knowledge about the country.

Klaudia was amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable about history and remembers important events, dates, years, and eras with remarkable recall. Although it was only a half-day tour, I left feeling very well informed about the history of Lima. She was able to connect with each tour participant based on their individual interests, whether in health, history, politics, or current events. She is truly a great tour guide. My highlight was the fruit tasting and visiting the herbal stand, which featured an incredible selection of teas and dried herbs. I highly recommend this tour.

The Sunday tour was efficient and informative, as we meandered through the Old City of LIma. Klaudia, was very resourceful re information regarding her city.

Our guide Alexander was excellent! He was able to provide a lot of context about current politics and social issues and Perú while also sharing about the history of Peru. The catacombs were very interesting and there were lots of cool buildings to see in the city center.
