Lima By Night Including Catacombs & Water Show Tour

It involves some walking but so worth it! Pick up and drop off were smooth and pretty much on time. I hope you get our tour guide. He was aamazing!!

It’s our last day in town and Jean did an excellent job showing us around, especially when we were running short on time for the light show because of traffic jams. He switched taxi two times and we finally goto the light show before it started! Great job and great agent! Fully recommend the service & the agent!

Enchanting night experience in Lima, Peru. Interesting being in the Catacombs while Mass was being held above in the church. Jean was a wonderful entertaining guide. Plaza mayor all lit up in different colors. Water fountain show was fun! Highly recommend this tour.

Easy to book. Pick up was on time. Would have missed if not taken tour as there is no suitable transportation in Lima.

I had an excellent experience on this tour - from prompt pick up to the tour of the San Francisco Monastery and catacombs, historical center and magic water show. Seeing the city light up was beautiful as well as entertaining. We got caught in rush hour traffic but Manuel kept us entertained with the history of the area. Once in the historical city centre he was excellent at keeping us together and pacing our tour. I would highly recommend this experience .

Pickup was on time and the van was comfortable, size of the group was perfect! There were 8 of us. The guide , Gorki was excellent! He took time to explain things in depth and answered all quesrions. We saw other groups being rushed through, but we had time time to take everything in. The catacombs were fascinating and the church was incredible! The light and water show was very enjoyable.

This was a great tour! Such cool spots, wonderful history, the city lit up at night - made for a great evening. Our guide Paolo was excellent and his historical knowledge was obvious. He was fun and kind and really made the tour memorable. I highly recommend!

Great experience. Klaudia did a great job, perhaps not rushing ahead of the group could be improved. At the cathedral, we found ourselves crushed by crowds celebrating a special day. Being part of a tour group got us prime spots for the water show. Well worth it!

Manuel and Juan Pablo were so great. Both had great enthusiastic personalities and an abundance of knowledge and experience. The tour of the Catecombs and San Francisco church were very interesting-the history so rich. But it was also amazing to see the old city with its covered balconies, beautiful architecture and cobblestone streets all lit up at night. And then to finish it off with a fun visit to the fountain park and show. Bring some water and good walking shoes as this tour should not be missed. Well worth the money and time.

I’m not sure it’s fair to put a price on tours like this one because it far exceeds any expectations you may have. This experience was not about just seeing buildings and things, it was about feeling the feelings people had at the time and living in their shoes. Honestly, hands down, one of my absolute favorite tours of all time! Juan is everything you want in a great guide! He’s personable, has valuable insights, knows the history and is proud of his country and heritage. His enthusiasm for sharing his culture comes through naturally. In fact, it’s quite contagious and he might have easily persuaded our entire group to become Peruvian😆 I’ll tell you about my own personal experience. During one part of the tour, I actually got a little emotional because of the injustice. It’s sad, but it’s history and I’m glad I got to see it. Then I realized that i generally have my emotions stirred when I’m fully engaged. That’s how I felt: hooked. Hopefully that can tell you something. All in all, this ks the best way to start your visit in Lima!

This was one of the highlights of my short time in Lima. Alex was an excellent guide—warm, engaging, and clearly very passionate about the city. Rather than simply giving us facts, he brought Lima’s history and landmarks to life and was always happy to answer our questions. The tour was also very well paced.i had enough time at each stop to actually enjoy the experience without feeling hurried, and the overall 4 hour excursion was excellent value for money. The catacombs and the water light show were memorable and are must do experiences of Lima. A well-organized and enjoyable excursion made even better by Alex’s knowledge and personality. Had a great tour with Alexander very friendly and informative. He was very aware that a few on the tour had some mobility issues and catered for them and didn’t rush. Catacombs were interesting. Water park was extremely crowded as it was a Saturday evening. Alex made sure we had a good position, overall a great experience.

Athenas was an incredible tour guide, perhaps the best I've ever had. She spoke great English and kept our whole family engaged, educated, and entertained for the duration of the tour. Our driver was flexible and dropped us off at a different place than our pick- up hotel afterwards so we could more easily squeeze visiting another sight into our plans that day.

Absolutely fantastic. My flight was delayed the day before so the organizers took it upon themselves to reschedule me to the next day without me having to lift a finger—and they knew I had to get to the airport right afterward and they even arranged a car for me and let me bring my luggage with me. Our tour guide was marvelous—knowledgeable, kind, and patient, and our driver was safe and excellent too. Bravo! Thank you for a great experience!

Our tour was seamless, as we were picked up from our hotel and taken to historical locations within Lima's colonial city center. These sites are a 'must see' at night!

My trip was amazing maybe due to it being a holiday and the ceremonies about to begin for the new president, nonetheless we had a fabulous guide. Very informative and he made all feel welcomed. I wish I remembered his name. Five stars!

Was a fantastic tour. Alex was highly knowledgeable and engaging. They were also very accommodating, I changed my pickup point last-minute and they were happy to help.

The guide (Claudia we know for the whatsapp) never introduce her self she was more focused and her phone and she did mention that she was tired from a tour earlier where she had sunburn. We pick up other 2 people (we don’t mind) but we just started driving and she never said where we are going until we asked. Otherwise the driver was really nice and he was the one giving us pretty much most of the information and facts from the city. During the tour the guide was in a rush, (my wife is pregnant ) she didn’t take the take to wait for us and we weren’t slow at all. The other 2 people didn’t want to do the Catatumbas or the church (part of the tour) so she was rushing the all time. At the water show she started walking out and the lights were still on, saying that the show ended. At the moment for take us to the hotel she left the other 2 people in the mall and we mention that if they can drop us off in a different place near or hotel and she keep pushing that stay here stay here it feels like she wanted to leave. The driver was nice and he was telling us a place that he can take us to eat but she didn’t agree to it so we stayed in the mall. We don’t feel this recommend or worth it for the time and money. And also the rude attitude from the guide of the tour. Her name is Claudia.

We had such a great tour with Alex last night. It way exceeded our expectations. Alex has great English and was so easy to understand. He was well-informed and shared a lot of interesting information. We enjoyed the catacomb tour. It was very interesting. We thought the old Lima area was so pretty at night and it was a treat to see everything all lit up. We enjoyed the beautiful park where the fountains all are and it was fun seeing them all and Alex got lots of photos for us. The water show was really something to see! We really didnt know what to expect but we thought it was great, with all of the images projected on the water sprays. A great tour and we appreciated a very excellent guide and driver. Thanks Alex for such a great tour!

Alex was a superb guide. We loved the catacombs and all the information he gave us. And he recommended the best churro we’ve had yet. The water light show was less grand than I thought, but it was still a sweet little park. I probably would have liked more history lessons.

We took this tour in May, 2026. We chose it because it combined a tour of the catacombs of the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco together with the Magic Water Circuit and Laser Light Show. This tour offers door-to-door transportation which is amazing, but we already had plans to be near the basilica so we met our tour group there. Even though the rest of our tour arrived quite late, making us question whether we were in the right place, it was mostly drama-free. The tour begins in the church and our guide made sure we saw all the highlights, including an active mass service. The catacombs are interesting, although they seemed pretty sanitized for tourist groups. They were very well lit and while I got a general sense of how this culture managed their dead, this wasn’t a jaw-dropping experience like the catacombs in Paris. Nevertheless, the tour was totally worth it. Our guide was excellent and the convenient transportation was invaluable. The van took our group from the basilica to the Magic Water Circuit and Laser Light Show, which was a fair distance. The venue is basically a big park with a bunch of cool fountains and water installations. You absolutely do NOT need a guide to get the full water park experience. Just take an uber and have fun. Nevertheless we loved having transportation back to our apartment, which was a long way away (Miraflores). We can recommend this tour because our excellent guide helped a lot in the basilica and for the transportation. Maybe I’m making too much of having the tour van, but if you’ve ever braved Lima traffic for distances like Miraflores to El Centro, you get it.
