Huaca Pucllana Site Inside + City Tour In Lima & Catacombs.

It was superb. Punctual and got to see a lot. Mario was so knowledgeable and fun. Couldn't have had a better time. The tastings were a great addition and I'd tell anyone who wants to see Lima to do this tour and get Mario if you can.

This tour was my first activity in Lima, and it gave me a great overview of the city's key places. Places were visited in the opposite order to most tours, which meant that you got to explore places like the Catacombs in relative quiet.

Mario was our tour guide and he was fantastic! He is friendly and kind and has a lot of knowledge to share. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped off there as well-so convenient! We never felt rushed or unsafe. Mario was happy to answer any questions we had along the way. Victor our driver was excellent as well. My only recommendation would be to include a light lunch or sandwich. But the local market and fruit tasting was fun!

We had a wonderful well designed tour today (August 17, 2026) led by Mario, a professional, competent, and kind guide. Mario introduced us to Lima as well as many aspects of its culture. Viator allowed us to skip long queues at several places we visited. Mario’s style created a calm, leisurely, and relaxed experience. He was patient with our questions and was able to put the facts in context. We travel a lot yet have never taken a Viator tour. Based on today’s experience, we use Viator again on our travels. Thank you Mario for a rewarding and informative five hours. Mario was especially effective in the Miraflores market. He knew lots of people and arranged nice tastings.

Excellent short tour of Lima. We hit most of the high points in one 5 hour period. Our guide, Mario was a wealth of knowledge. He impressed me with the vast amount of information, history and geology of Lima and Peru. Our driver, Abel had nerves of steel maneuvering through the Lima traffic. An excellent adventure for us!!

I had Mario as a guide and he was the absolute best tour guide I’ve ever had. Full of useful information and always had knowledge to spare if you had any questions. Extremely caring and understanding when there were times we needed more time to look around or a slower explanation. Would recommend Mario 100 times out of 10.

We truly had an amazing trip. Mario and his wonderful safe driver collected us 4 of us at 10.00 and from then on nothing was too much trouble. Very educated about the location and history. Very interactive and personal. A wonderful tour guide. My guide allowed me to ask questions and answered them all thoroughly. The tour included a visit to a local market which was a highlight for us, where we tasted the local produce. Magnificent unmissable experience for a first visit to the city. The guide's level of knowledge is remarkable and the driver's cordiality as well. In five hours it allows you to tour the city's iconic sites and taste typical products.

Mario is the BEST guide I have had on this trip, very attentive, charismatic, and informed about the latest research conducted at the places we visited. It is clear that he loves his job, I learned a lot during the whole trip and I also asked him questions that had nothing to do with the tour, which he was happy to answer very kindly. When he found out that I am Chilean, and since I was the only passenger the day I took the tour, we went off the itinerary a bit and he took me to see Bernardo O’Higgins' house in downtown Lima, it was a nice experience. He also gave me time to buy some things at the souvenir shops and he got me a brochure at the place where there was no shop, unfortunately I lost it, hahaha! I also thank the driver, always very kind and attentive.
