Great way to see the city, opportunity to jump off and walk around the downtown area where there are lots of attractions and restaurants - 1h 45mins i think from stop to pick up again.

Excellent bus tour finishing with a walking tour of the old city before returning to Miraflores. Knowledgeable and friendly guide, I had less than 24hrs in Lima and this was a really good way of making the most of the time.
Not the best experience. Difficult to understand the guide. Due to traffic it took 2 hours to get across town.
The employees were very nice and informative. The tour was amazing. We got to see the president palace and the entire plaza. Everything was great. I recommend it.

There is onlyn1 bus on each route, yes 1, so its impossible to do the stops on the bus in 24, or 48 hours, buses stop at certain stops for 10 minutes for no apparent reason, sometimes 15, making it even longer, guide narrates physically so no ear phones to make it easier, chaotic beyond belief traffic that makes it unpleasant and incredible car fumes that gave me a headache, not at all pleasent and wouldn't recommend it
There is only 1 bus on each route so huge waits, so its impossible to do stops on each stop in 1 day, buses also stop for 10 minutes at certain stops for no apparent reason therefore making it even longer, very hard to get to stops due to traffic and the tour is narrated by a person, not through the headphones as it normally is, not a pleasent experience and also very very difficult to get them to communicate with you, messages goes unanswered for days
Great experience with Jose Carlos guide! I was surprised that there was a walking tour since San Luiz square. It was great, Jose Carlos was very friendly and helpful!
This company is not operating a "hop on hop off" bus experience. They run one bus a day which operates as a fully guided tour. If you do not buy the guided tour (which I was never even told existed) you are stuck on a structured, scheduled tour without being allowed to participate in the tour experience. I should've been suspicious when we showed up at the JFK boarding spot and had to wait an hour and a half for the bus to show up, but I'd already purchased tix on Trip Advisor, so .... We wanted to "hop off" at the Fountain Park. Instead, we got stuck in the historical district for an hour and a half. I asked the guide if she could tell me where the catacombs were. She gestured down the street and told me "You didn't pay for a guide. You are on your own". Which wasn't exactly true because I was stuck on a bus going nowhere for hours at a time. The next "stop" was to meet up with the guided tour at the base of a bridge where we sat for half an hour waiting for them to board. We were then asked if we wanted to be "dropped off" at the Fountain Park, with us finding our own way home. It was 6pm by this time and an hour out from our hotel. We declined. Finally, we were dropped off, NOT at the JFK spot. We were dropped off three (long) blocks away on the side of the highway across from tattoo parlors and sex shops. I felt sorry for the older gentleman using a cane. This was a complete waste of the only free day we had in Lima and an absolute money grabbing scam. Don't waste your time or money. I wish we had just hopped a cab. It's a safe area. It would have been easier and we would have actually gotten to see some of Lima instead of being hijacked for over seven hours on a bus going nowhere.

It gave a good oversight of Lima and surrounds. The staff were helpful. Not many stops and limited buses, particularly between 1pm and 4pm from the central historic area. Like the bus as it had covered area, wifi and no earphones - much prefer the human commentary.
We often take the Hop-on, Hop-off as a ‘sampler’ when visiting a new destination. We are then able to decide which areas deserve more time. At minimum, it’s inexpensive transportation and we won’t get lost. Our advice is to skip Lima’s hop-on, hop-off unless you are looking for an uncomfortable drive through traffic. We purchased both the Yellow and Red routes, but neither was beneficial. Staff was friendly, but the map must’ve been designed by a failed intern. The route was stops 1,2,1,4,5,6,2,3,1,2,3. Each listed with times of arrival and departure but the guides advised us to ignore the arrival times. Perhaps it was a treasure map. One of the highlights of the yellow tour is to visit the central city. We can understand why, it’s the cleanest area outside of Miraflores and boasts churches and political mansions. However, there is a large military presence here. It’s a fine line. A visible and approachable police force, even if large, can be reassuring to a foreign tourist. Police are meant to protect the people. A military presence with automatic weapons, no matter its size, is intimidating and makes you wonder what is happening for which I’m unaware. A military is meant to fight an enemy, so are we that enemy? Instead of finding the answer, we stayed on the bus, forgoing institutional buildings and opting for another hour of fighting traffic. For Lima, skip the hop-on, hop-off. Take a taxi to the beautiful park which hugs the coastline and walk to Miraflores from there.

For starters, our tour guide was not only friendly, but also knowledgeable. He knew how to warm up to the crew. I wad with my 4 year old daughter and he even addressed her to fill her in what was going on. Nice Guy!
We had a wonderful time with our guide Carlos. He was very professional, friendly and entertaining. He really knows the history of Peru and we learned a lot. We highly recommend this tour and if you can get Carlos as your guide you would definitely have a wonderful experience.
The Turibus was fun but I was very confused as to how to find the place to get on it. I called TripAdvisor’s number and they sent me a couple of addresses to go to, but I thought that could have been made clearer from the original booking. It was not clear to me that there were only two places that we were supposed to start to get on the bus??-I thought it was supposed to be hop-on/hop-off anywhere on route. Luckily we stopped a bus and they let us on.
Josecarlos was an outstanding guide. This tour company was a very good experience. I got to see a lot of the city. They have 24/7 chat support. I learned a lot. The night time water show at fountain park was a highlight.
We wanted to explore whole Lima in a day, but realized 24 hours pass is not enough to cover. However, it was a good experience to know more about the city.

This bus is a good way to see parts of the city, but it stops at several places for 10-30 minutes or more. Short stops are fine, but at one stop they told me that the bus was leaving in 70 minutes. It turned out that the bus that I was on was leaving in 30 minutes, and another bus, on another route, arrived 90 minutes later. This service is overpriced.

This was a very informative tour. We enjoyed seeing the city. We were really amazed at how the driver was able to maneuver through the city with all of the cars and narrow streets. We were able to see areas that we wouldn’t have known about had we not taken this tour.
Good way to get your bearings around Miraflores, San Isidro and Barranco (at minimum). Found some intriguing places we hadn’t discovered on foot. We did 2 of the 4 tour lines (Yellow and Red). Note that the commentary provided was in both Spanish and English but from someone speaking over an on board microphone rather than using headsets. It made it a little difficult to understand and hear over the traffic noise on top of the bus which was a real shame.
There services are limited frequency so may not suit everyone. Better value if you buy a 48 or 72 hour ticket as this gives you more opportunity to travel for only slightly more than a 24 hour ticket. If you want to visit specific points and time is limited Uber may suit you better as a means of getting around.
We had a very good experience. This is a great way to visit areas in lima. It is very safe efficient and affordable for people looking to get around the city. Marilyn was more than helpful with information. Her English and Spanish skills are top notch.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hop-on hop-off bus tour in Lima. It was a fantastic way to see the city from the comfort of a double-decker bus, with the flexibility to hop off at various stops and explore at your own pace. Our hostess, Marilyn, was friendly and welcoming, and the commentary throughout the tour was informative and engaging. A great experience and an excellent introduction to the city.
Not the normal hop on hop off bus I was used to. The buses run infrequently. This means you can only hop off & visit a limited number of places in a day & catch the next bus. The traffic in Lima is shocking. Took 1 hour to travel 4km on yellow line into the city. Good for getting an overview of Lima. Jordan's commentary (red route) in English was easier to understand than our yellow route.
Yellow bus did not stop long enough to take pictures for historical building and parks on lima tour Nor did they take a bathroom break in 2.5 hours. Blue bus tour is better. The guardic swing stuff and gives you a history and stops long enough for you to take pictures

Jose Carlos was a great guide, spoke in both Spanish and English and made sure everyone understood. Walking tour was unexpected extra and Jose Carlos made sure we had enough time in each spot after explaining what everything was. Great day but beware of the traffic, takes a long time to get around the city!
This service is good, but it would be better if it was more like hop-on-hop-off in other cities. This one operates more like a standard basic bus tour that runs in a loop: you get on at point A, you drive around, you get off a point A. There are very few stops on the loop and the frequency of buses is only 4 or 5 a day, so you can't conveniently hop on and hop off where you might want to go. Other than this issue it is a good service and the skill of the drivers in the intensely chaotic Lima traffic was impressive. Our guide Jordan was friendly and helpful.
Jordan was an excellent tour guide, fluent in Spanish, English and French!! Hopefully more stops will be considered in the future, to allow more flexibility in visiting different locations with less wait between Pick up and Drop off times. Great way to quickly view the city in 1/2 a day.

Turibus is not a real Hop on Hop off bus. It seems there is only one bus in each route - if the full route takes 2 hours to be completed, the bus will pass by the stops every 2 hours. One is unable to fully use the stops with such sparse bus times. They also stop running very early. In my case, I took one in the same day I arrived in Lima, at noon. I barely made one route without hopping off. There was no way I could have hop off/on somewhere and still be able to use the other routes. Very inefficient bus system for such a touristic city like Lima.

Talk to the staff they are very helpful. The stops were at main areas of interest. To get back on the bus. The staff look for the wrist bands and made sure we got on the bus safely. Lots of traffic.

Honestly amazing, I have a knee injury so am not able to walk around normally. They had a weelchair available that I could use and there was actually a really helpful tourguide that pushed me in the weelchair and showed us around (José Carlos) I would recommend to take this tour for sure!!
I arrived in Miraflores and headed over to John F. Kennedy Park. To my surprise, there was a Hop on Hop Off bus parked across the street, from Kennedy’s statue. I crossed the street and introduced my self to Yordan, the tour guide. He answered all my questions,for example: 1) could I pay on the bus, 2) what’s a good time to start the tour, and 3) where does the tour go. I agreed to return the following day, for the 9:45 AM tour, and paid on the bus. There’s no headset, with a tape recording of a tour. Yordan is the guide! His English is excellent. He did a great job with explaining things, while conducting the tour in both English and Spanish. During the tour, we were also able to stop for a few great photo opportunities. The driver and the guide were both excellent and tour was well worth the money!
