Full Paracas & Huacachina Day Trip From Lima: Sunset Experience

Jesus is so considerate and fun, he gave informations and briefing beforehand, trying his best to make everyone happy and satisfied. The tour itself was fun and organised, gracias!

AMAZING experience from start to finish. Arrived on time with a very comfortable van, explained our whole day and make sure we got whatever we needed. Huacachina was so fun and teenagers loved it. To end it off with wine, snacks and a bonfire with s'mores was the icing on the cake. But Jesus was everything, the best travel guide we’ve ever had. So nice, funny and make sure we had WiFi/portable chargers or whatever we needed, loved him!! Highly recommend

A long day but a good day with some lovely people. The boat ride was fun, seeing seals and penguins but then charged 25 Sol after which nobody seemed to know about. The dunes and sandboarding was the best and filled with adrenaline. Could have done that all day. Sunglasses are a must and anything to cover your mouth. There are sellers everywhere at the dunes. My meeting point wasn't far but within a dark road which at 5am was a little concerning. The roads were blocked so I had to walk to another point. Frustratingly, the next pick up was outside a hotel which was directly across the road from my hostel so I don't understand their planning. The guide was nice but not really involved with the tour as each activity had its on guide. The communication lacked a little as we could have been told about the tickets before the boat ride, maybe I had missed it but so did everyone else judging by their reaction. Also, there was a stand up sandboarding options which wasn't communicated so my cash was left on the bus meaning they had to pay on my behalf. If we'd knew this before, I would have bought cash to avoid that awkwardness. The tour as a whole was worth the money but it would have been good to know about the extra costs in the beginning

The day started with a boat ride to Ballesta Islands observing their fauna. A visit to Paracas reserve folllowed by lunch at the winery and tasting pisco. I mostly enjoyed the drive in the dessert of Huancachina followed by sand boarding and a bonfire at sunset. Our guide , Franco, was very organized and really did an excellent job. This trip is a must!

We didn’t get to dune buggy as the operators were on strike- this was a bummer, but I understand not part of their control. What would have been appreciated is the heads up that renting sandboard was still possible- I wish I was told so that I could have done this! Huacachina itself was very cute and still nice to experience at sunset.

Had an incredible time. The meetup was quick and seamless. The fee was incredibly cheap given the amount of stuff we got to do. The host, Jesus, created a very lively and welcoming atmosphere. The crowd was the perfect size for all the activities, and all got along very well. Overall a great thing to do with your friends if you are in Peru.

I had a wonderful experience with this guys. I came with some friends for few days and booked last minutes this tour. Everything was perfect from begining to the end. The Activities, food and guide. Special mention about the picnic and campfire were how we imagined. Thank You very much Perú Bucket List.

I did this back in June and it was really fun. You can see some really cool places and it's nothing like Macchu Picchu!! Worth the money... A lot of transit time but they made sure we were fed. The egg and meat soft roll things were some of the best food I ate the entire trip. Our tour guide was so nice and super responsible. The police made the bus move on pickup and the guide came and found me because I was at the pickup spot all confused. Was nice to not be left accidently in the desert lol. My only complaint- would have loved more shopping time at the port/bay/Paracas. We had a bit too much walking time a the Huacachina and not enough at the port/bay (but parking at the bay was difficult so maybe that was it). There are great stone vendors here and the pricing was competitive versus the main tourist route vendors. All around recommend Super memorable even months later.

This traveler group is the worst, they texted me less than 12 hours from my scheduled pick up to tell me they are canceling the trip, they didn't provide an alternative tour company or anything left us hanging, I booked an extra day at the end of my vacation just to do this trip, explained that and got nothing from them, I Would never use PERU EXPERIENCES TOUR GROUP, and don't recommend that anyone uses them, un professional, lack of concern for their clients, and down right incompetent, When asked them for refund they said that they can't do it, I have to go back from Viator even though they caused me a huge headache, Now I have to go through all the work and aggravation to get my refund, again caused by Peru Experience group, not by my choose!!!! You are warned about booking with them!!!! I am considering writing a letter to the President of Viator spelling out what type of company Peru Experieces actually is, and if I had my way I would ban/ remove them as a provider for Viator as they are tarnishing the good name of Viator..Even if the cancelation was un avoidable due to lack of clients there's so much more that they could of done......a complete disgrace of an organization........YOU ARE BEING WARNED....I am an avid traveler throughout the world used Viator many times and never experienced this type of behavior/ unprofessional behavior

Our day trip was great! Franco and his team were very communicative, sharing details in advance, the day before, and day of, so we knew exactly what to expect. They shared their location and let us know exactly when we'd be picked up too. We saw loads of sea lions and birds on our boat tour, lunch at the vineyard was very tasty, and I had the option to sit out the dune buggy ride/sandboarding since I had a knee injury, so I was able to relax by the oasis while the rest of the group was doing that. My only small complaint would be that the suspension in the transport van was pretty poor, so 10 total hours being jostled around was a lot!

Brilliant trip. Our tour guide Rosa was professional, funny, kind and went above and beyond. The activities were great fun and the dune buggy driver was excellent and really helpful. The only negative I have was the bus was late picking me up from my hotel. They said 4:30am in their message to me. I was outside my hotel at this time and was concerned they may not be coming. I messaged them at 4:38am and then called at 4:42am. They eventually responded at 4:43am that they were 7 mins away.

The day is very rushed feeling. The boat ride to see the sea lions and other animals is neat, but had little explanation and the staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there. The wine tasting is not really a wine tasting, but more so a bunch of shots of pisco and very sugary wine. The dune buggy and sand boarding was really fun, but if you don’t like rollercoasters/thrill rides, it might not be for you. Overall, it’s a fun tour but it’s rushed feeling and you don’t get to learn anything about the places you are going or what you are seeing.

Rose made our experience a 10/10. It was unfortunate to learn that we wouldn’t be able to do the sandboarding and the dune buggies since that was what we looked forward to the most. The other excursions from the boat ride to see the penguins, pelicans, and sea lions, as well as the Pisco tour and watching the sunset on the sand dunes were awesome. Again, Rose made the experience one to remember. She’s like our cool aunty and she made sure to keep the energy high throughout the entire day. Thanks Rose!

I travel quite a bit and I have to say Jesus was honestly one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. His energy was infectious, he kept our spirits up from 5am to midnight and had us laughing throughout the tour. He was very knowledgeable and kept us well informed about our multiple stops and activities. He had a solution for basically every slight problem we could have and ensured the entire trip was seamless. He also is the best hype man and supporter when taking pictures lol. I would definitely recommend this tour company and if possible ask to have Jesus as your guide! All the other helpers we met along the tour were also very friendly and tried their best to make sure we were all having the best experience we could. I especially want to shout out our dune buggy driver for going above and beyond for our group. Thank you all so much you made this one of the best days of my trip in Peru (and I think my life)!!!

Mama Rose is absolutely amazing! I felt so cared for from the moment we met her. Every little detail she took care of was thoughtful and made us feel so welcomed. She went above and beyond for a group of complete strangers and truly treated us like family. Her kindness, warmth, and energy made the experience so special. My friend and I were visiting from Canada and had an incredible day! Our tour guide Franco was phenomenal. We saw so many cool birds, sealions and even dolphins. The food was delicious. The highlight, however, was definitely buggying and sandboarding in the dunes and watching the sunset from there. Worth every penny.
