Pachacamac portion of the trip was nice . It should not be advertised as Chorillos and Barranca trip because we did not really tour those areas just drive by them That was annoying

Itinerary
Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in a private minivan or SUV. Before visiting the complex and museum of Pachacamac, visit the populous and traditional district of Chorrillos. This area played an important role in the war with Chile from 1879 to 1883. Enjoy beautiful views of the Villa wetlands (A refuge of wild animals and migratory birds), La Herradura beach, and the Costa Verde beach circuit.
Travel south of Lima towards Pachacamac Inca Archaeological Site with the assistance of a professional tour guide on board who will give a detailed explanation of the important cultures and people that lived here. This archaeological complex offers a visit to the museum and temples such as the Acllawasi, the Old Temple, the Painted Temple, Philligrins Square and Taulichumbi palace. Pachacamac, that was built mainly on adobe (mud bricks), hosts an oracle that represents the Lord of Pachacamac, who was considered a god that ruled the world. it is the major Pre-Hispanic ceremonial center on the Pacific Coast of America. Discover the buildings of the four known cultures that existed here: Lima, Ychma, Wari and Inca. Learn the difference of each culture during time because of its rocky formations. Enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the sea from the viewpoint of the Temple of the Sun, the highest building in Pachacamac Sanctuary.
The last part of your tour includes a detailed visit to Barranco, where you can enjoy a romantic walk by the Bridge of Sights, the Walk of the Baths, Barranco's Boulevard, La Ermita Church and other typical and rustic buildings that belonged to the colonial era of Lima. At the end of your tour, you will be taken back to your hotel. Optional drop-off in Barranco or centrally located restaurants in Lima can be arranged.

The day was lovely, and the hike up to the Sun God temple ruins was vigorous but not too much for a 70 year old in fair shape! The view of the ocean made it worthwhile, not to mention standing on sacred ground for the Inca people. The immensity of the archaeological site really struck me; essentially, I learned, all of Lima area is built on top of layers from ancient cultures. To touch the stones that workers used 1000 years ago to build a temple is the best way to learn history. A very good tour! Take sunscreen and water; it is warm and dry there!
Our guide shared interesting facts. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I actually I would have actually like to get out of the car to see Bridge of Signs instead of a distance in the car.
Wow what a tour. Maria and Victor were the best. Maria had so much knowledge and Pachacamac was out of this world amazing. You need to visit this place.
Guide was very knowledgeable, informative and forthcoming. Structured presentations but flexible in allowing deviations.
One of the best tours ever ! Learned so much!… Many thanks to our guide Alexandra and our driver Victor!! Highly recommend this trip!
Tour operators were a no show! Was at the pick up location from 9:30 til 10:30. No show. Now they’re lying.
Amazing moment with the guide Lucas and the driver Victor. Great explanations, respectful, patient, really clear, good English. I recommend :)
The guide Cezar was very knowledgeable and informative. It was very interesting. The 6 seat mini bus was very comfortable and the water and crisps were much appreciated.
Our tour guide - Vilma was very knowledgeable and am excellent guide. She spoke English very well. We thoroughly enjoyed her. Our driver Victor was excellent. He safely drove us all around in some heavy traffic. Definitely recommend both of then and Vista Travels.
The tour was great, but not as described. The tour claimed we would tour Chorrillos and Barranco as well as the Pachacamac Inca Archaeological Site. Our tour just went to Pachacamac Inca Archaeological Site and back to our hotel. This was a bummer after our tour finding out it was supposed to include more. This is why I gave it a lesser rating. Besides that, we very much enjoyed visiting the Pachacamac Inca Archaeological Site. This was very cool to see. Our tour guide was very great also. I would recommend the tour, just ask ahead of time if it does include those parts of the city as well.
Excellent tour, the Guide Lucas has the best knowledge of the Culture and his history. Kenyi is an excellent driver too. Entertaining, didactic and safe 👍🏼
Everything went very smooth. Excellent tour guide... Very thorough and knowledgeable!! Always willing to go that little extra to make our group seem special.. Couldn't have asked for a nicer tour guide (Jessica) or a nicer tour!! Worth every penny!! (We enjoyed everything, but the only exclusion was the sandwich we were supposed to receive!!!
Lucas our guide was personable and professional. The tour started with an introduction at the modern museum. There was a good explanation of the pre-Columbian cultures, which are many more than just Inca. We then maneuvered the site by car and foot which was necessary to get it all in (it's huge) and not wear yourself out. We touched the other points of the tour including a short stint on the Pan American highway, but these were really only points of interest drivebys. Overall a worthwhile half day investment to a major archaeological site just a few kilometers south of Lima .
Well worth it. The pachacamac tour was very informative and interesting, I loved the history. I loved Barranco neighborhood, very artistic and colorful, this is a must as well.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We were hesitant about booking a tour to Pachacamac, but it really rounded out our trip to Lima.
I had specify before the trip that I ordered selected a guide in Spanish for my mom. When I booked my trip for some reason the company put it down for English. When a gentlemen called from the company for confirmation that I’d continue I asked if they could fix that mistake and they said it wouldn’t be a problem because our guide Jessica speaks both English and Spanish. When we got in the car for our tour the guide Jessica asked if one of us spoke English. I confirmed that I did but that my mom did not and that you they told me it’d be fine because she speaks both languages. she refuse to speak Spanish for my mom and said she was only assigned to do the tour in English. I stick with my mom because she’s 65 years old and worry of her falling, so it wasn’t even worth keeping up with the guide Jessica as she’s making the other tourist who speak English feel more comfortable. My mom is not a person to be treated like a dog left behind. I hope to not once book anything with the Vista Adventures company and hope those guys learn how to do a better service. She could’ve used her Spanish language but refuse to. The only time she talk Spanish to my mom was for the restroom. It’s Jessica with moe near her left eye. That’s your Jessica in case she tries to say it’s another Jessica. Next time actually be honest to what you tell a customer. I have video of my mom in the back as your Jessica just continues speaking English when I’m sure her first language is Spanish. We shouldn’t have felt and especially my mother shouldn’t have felt outcasted. Bye.
If you are interested in Peruvian history then this is the tour for you. We arrived in Lima 28 hours behind schedule therefore only had limited time to cram in everything. We booked this trip last minute. Danni the viatour rep did everything possible to secure this trip for us and we were not disappointed. We were the only two people in our party so had Greta our Peruvian guide and Leonardo our driver all to ourselves. Greta’s knowledge of her countries culture was impressive she took us through a delightful and informative journey dating back 5000 years. After visiting the sight we then headed to Barranco for a whistle stop tour. A fabulous day . Thanks to all who took part
We were picked up promptly at our Miraflores hotel. To our surprise we were also provided with lunch. The guide spoke good English. It was a very informative tour.
The tour overall met our expectations. We were lucky that we ended up on a private tour.We received a lot of good information from our guide Jessica. She explained the history of each place we visited very well. We were given enough time to take photos and we did not feel rushed. We went around barranco which was a neighbourhood with a lot of character. We only passed by chorrillos which we were okay with as it was a hole. For me this was unecessary aspect of the tour. Pachacamac was very interesting. It was amazing how much that place has seen over centuries and how some materials used by the ancient people stood the test of time. There was a lot of traffic on the way but this gave us a chance to try peruvian street food while cars were at a full stop. It was a fun day for us and we thank our tour guide Jessica and our driver Kenji for keeping us safe

Wonderful Archaeological site and great tour guides. Highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an informative day.

They company supplied a guide who spoke no English. He did not speak a word to us while we were going from place to place to pint anything out and felt if he kept repeating what he was saying in his language maybe wed finally understand him.

I would not recommend this tour with this company.

Walter was a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable and very friendly. The museum had very interesting displays and artifacts. The scale of the excavation is impressive. The views from the top of the hill are awesome. We also enjoyed the visit to Barranco, it is a very colorful district. Our guide snapped many photos of my wife and me in various spots with our camera.

Very interesting and our knowledgeable guide explained everything in detail. A lot of walking, but worth it. Tip - use sunblock!

Excellent! Our tour guide was sensitive to our needs. He helped us take pictures of the llamas.

The visit went very well our guide Maria was very friendly, clear and experienced We took tons of pictures
The Pachacamac, Barranco & Chorrillos Tour is very educational. We had the opportunity to learn a little more about the Inca and Andean culture. I recommend that you visit this museum, that you make a wish on the bridge of sighs, and appreciate the beauty that Barranco encloses.
They cancel you saying the system was wrong. Lack of professionalism, excuses for cancellation are invalid
The place still has a lot of work to do, but it's amazing that they've made up so much ground surrounded by civilization.

Realizamos un tour privado con un conductor perfecto, el guía como todos los que nos atendieron en Lima era todo un experto en la historia preincaica. En Pachamacac tuvimos una buena guía. El paseo fue muy rico y formativo.
