From Lima: All-inclusive Day Trip To Paracas & Huacachina Oasis

Amazing tour with great food. The desert oasis experience with sand boarding was amazing. The Tacama pisco and wines tour was very informative. The breakfast and lunch with wines was delicious and had quality food served. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable.

Jaime was our guide and Henry was our drive - they made our day so easy! Jaime shared so much knowledge and made sure we were comfortable the entire day! Henry was a great driver. Would definitely recommend!

We had a group ranging from 35 years to 68 years of family and friends. Jamie did a great job of pacing, explaining and providing information as we drove. He looked out for our safety while assuring us we could sand board and ride the speedboat. Our driver Ceasar took great care of us in the crazy traffic and was always ready to take us to the next place ! Our dune driver was Javier and we had so much wild ,but safe, unexpected fun with him. At one point I started thinking what an outstanding day this was with two local meals, winery visit, wine tasting, speed boating, sea lions and birds, sunset viewing and dune buggy adventure in the desert. Unfortunately one of our group lost his cell phone in the sand and Jamie an Javier exhaustively for it but it was never found. This made us very late getting back but they were kind and never complained.

Our full-day Paracas and Huacachina experience with Berrios Travel was absolutely outstanding and easily the highlight of our trip to Peru! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organized. Our driver, Carlos, & guide, Jamie, were punctual, polite, and professional, and the car was clean and comfortable. Jamie was fantastic, knowledgeable, and attentive, and every activity throughout the day was top notch. We especially loved the breakfast and the winery visit. The boat trip was another highlight — seeing sea lions and penguins up close was an unforgettable experience! And then came the sand dunes… crazy fun, but definitely a little scary! Thankfully, Jamie noticed I was getting uncomfortable and asked the driver to slow things down a bit, which made a huge difference. That level of attentiveness really stood out to me & my husband It was a long day, but it was packed with thrills, beautiful scenery, great food, and unforgettable experiences. We loved every minute of it and would highly recommend Berrios Travel to anyone visiting Peru.

Amazing experience! Our guide Jamie customized our tour to want we requested. The breakfast stop he picked was authentic and amazing. The pisco vineyard was phenomenal and the dune buggies and sand sledding were unforgettable. Our driver Cesar was so kind and friendly.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with our guide, Jaime, and our driver, Henry. From start to finish, they were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The entire day was exceptionally well planned, and despite covering so much, we always felt safe, comfortable, and never rushed. We started with a traditional Peruvian breakfast that was out of this world before heading to Paracas. From there, we visited Tacama for a wonderful wine tour and tasting, and finished the day in Huacachina with dune buggies and sandboarding. It was such a diverse experience — incredible food, culture, history, scenery, wine, and adventure all in one day. Jaime was extremely knowledgeable and made the entire trip interesting and engaging, while Henry was a fantastic driver who made us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout a very long day of traveling. I especially appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating they were with my mom. She wasn’t able to participate in the dune buggy and sandboarding portion, and they made sure she was comfortable and well taken care of while I participated. That extra attention meant so much to us and allowed everyone to enjoy the day. This was truly one of the highlights of our time in Peru and an exceptional experience from beginning to end. Jaime and Henry are highly recommended — we couldn’t have asked for a better guide and driver or a more memorable day!

It was pretty awful, the boat tour was nothing like the videos. No good views. The wine tasting was poor, expensive food that wasn’t good and not enough wine. The dunebuggy & sandboarding tour that was promised ended up being just a dune buggy tour because we were not allowed to rent samdboards for whatever reason. Our guide Jesús was quite literally the most incompetent person on the planet.

Michel, and his driver did a fantastic, safe job of getting our family to the excursions. Michel has a passion for the Peruvian culture and shared background and the history of our excursion locations. Not to mention he was spot on, and we had no wait times for the excursions. I would highly recommend. Worth every penny.

If I could give 6 stars I would! Great trip and worth every penny. Jaime our tour guide was incredible! He was so knowledgeable, friendly and professional and provided so much information during the ride it made the trip fly by. He made sure we were taken care of at all the stops and made us feel like VIPs! He took great pictures for us, especially sledding down the sand dunes! I’d be remiss not to mention our great driver Henry! He made the trip so smooth and comfortable in a new car and was such a professional, we hardly noticed the crazy Lima traffic! This trip is a MUST for anyone traveling to Lima! To make the trip even better, highly recommend requesting Jaime and Henry, you will not be disappointed!

Miguel Angel didn't disappoint - he was our guide from the start until the end of the tour. We had our own private driver with Miguel - he was very informative and even pre-ordered our lunch at the winery, prior to arrival, explaining each entree and its history and culture. The visits with the seals, penguins and sand dunes were all unforgettable experiences - Migeuel Angel helped capture moments by taking photos when we couldn't... I would highly recommend this private tour!!!

Any amazing day full of food, wine, and adventure! Jaime was an amazing guide, who kept us fed and informed. Henry was a very safe and informed driver. We enjoyed every aspect of the trip from the Peruvian breakfast to sandboarding in the dessert. We were given great recommendations and as someone with food allergies, I appreciated they were able to accommodate me. There was not a moment we would have changed.

The day was amazing!!! There was a lot of driving between stops, but each stop was well worth it. Jaime was a knowledgeable guide and constantly checked to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our day. Henry our driver was skilled and considerate as well. We didn't get to see many penguins but we did see sea lions and a dolphin. Highly recommend this tour especially with Henry and Jaime.

Jaime was an amazing tour guide for our very full day - we were able to get so many different experiences into one day while having periods of rest mixed in. Jaime kept us on schedule so we didn’t miss a thing and was incredibly knowledgeable on all things Peruvian history, food, and culture. Thank you to Jaime for giving us our favorite day!! And none of it would have happened without Henry getting us to every spot safely and right on time. We never had to look far for Henry and our car - he made sure he was always close by with doors held open and ready to move! Between the cuisine, culture, sea life, wine-tasting, dune buggy-ing, and sand boarding, we truly had a once in a lifetime day.

It was the perfect day!!!! A Daytrip from Lima to Huacachina Oasis through Tacama Winery and Ballestas islands. We saw sea lions, penguins, we tried delicious food and made a wine tasting and we arrived the desert and Huacachima Oasis where we had a real Adrenalin explosion in a baggy and made sand boarding at the sunset. Everything PERFECT organised and guided from Jaime (the best guide we could have) and well drived from Cesar (the experienced driver everyone needs for the difficult traffic of Peru). We came back more than pleased with this amazing experience which deserves even more than 5 stars!

We had the most incredible experience, and I’m so glad I booked the private tour for my family—it truly ended up being the highlight of our entire trip. We had a fantastic time on the Day Trip to Parancas and Huachachina Oasis. Jaime was a great guide and Carlos drove us with a lot of care. The car was very new and comfortable and all the sites and food were amazing. I recommend going with Berrios Travel if you plan to go to these areas.

We had an absolutely amazing excursion from Lima to Paracas and Huacachina. It was a fun-filled day with so many memorable experiences packed into one trip. Our guide, Miguel, was outstanding. We had the best day ever on our day trip to Paracas & Huacachina Oasis . James our guide was exceptionally good . So knowledgeable, thoughtful & fun . We had a very capable driver Caesa . We have loved every minute exploring South America from the bottom to the top but without doubt this day was our best .

Highly recommend this day trip from Lima, our first stop was a traditional Peruvian breakfast, where we saw them cooking the fresh bread in a traditional pizza oven. Delicious way to start the day! Then on to Paracas for a boat trip to Ballestas Island, then on to TACAMA winery for a wine tour, wine tasting and a delicious lunch, Pisco sours. A great way to end the day was at Huacaching oasis where we had fun on the sand buggy and then sand tobogganing. Jaime was an exceptional guide looking after us every step of the way on our tour. Thank you for ordering more chocolate bread for some in our group. A great private tour where Jaime looked after our every need, his English was exceptional. Cesar was our driver, it is a long drive but I felt very relaxed with Cesar at the wheel. A wonderful day that we won’t forget!! Thank you Jaime and Cesar.

My wife and I had a great time on this tour, visiting three top sites in Ica, from Lima. Our driver Henry negotiated the busy streets in a very calm manner, squeezing past stopped or slow cars to make the most of our time. Our guide Jaime was the best guide we've had in a long time. He was very open and attentive, starting with a detailed explanation of our itinerary, history of the region, and local economy and culture. He also gave us several choices throughout the day: breakfast food and drinks, lunch menu and non-alcoholic as well as alcoholic drinks, and a surprise slushy after the dune buggy experience. We highly recommend taking this tour, especially with Jamie as a guide and Henry as a driver! They both treated us like we were VIPs. The meals for breakfast and lunch were both extremely tasty and filling. Jaime made the day go like clockwork. For example he got us to the front of the line for the boat ride, reserved the table we wanted for lunch while we took the winery tour, and got us right to the dune buggy as soon as we arrived at a very busy Huacachina. Everything went smoothly- we made use of every moment on this tour. It was a great experience that we will long remember!

My three daughters and I had a truly incredible day with Jaime (guide) and Cesar (driver). They took great care of us and we did so much! It was a joyful day. We started early and got home late and every part of the day was incredibly fun. I would bring outfits to change into for lunch as it’s at a nice restaurant, but for the boat and sandboarding you want something more practical. Bring multiple outfits, and sun hats and clothes to protect from water on the boat.

This really is an all inclusive all day trip. Jamie, our guide, and Patrick, our driver, took really good care of us from 6 AM to almost 9 PM at night. They break up the day very well by the different stops during the day. The restaurants for breakfast and lunch were excellent. They were able to accommodate us since we didn’t drink alcohol by giving us other drinks and even desserts at lunch. Jamie gave lots of interesting information, ordered our food ahead of time so we didn’t have to wait long, brought us to the front of the line for the boat tour, and was intentional about making sure we had clean bathroom stops. The ride back home was mainly just quiet time, but we were ready for that at the end of the day.

Henry (Driver) and Jaime (guide) were very kind, welcoming and made for the best possible experience on our trip to Peru. They gave us useful facts on local culture and traditions, and were very approachable. We did a private day tour with them to the Ballesta Islands for a tour of marine life , Tacama winery, and finishing up the day with Huacachina dune buggy, walk around the oasis and sand boarding. Every activity was well thought out and very organized. This private tour allowed us to see a lot of sites and not lose any time with a very limited schedule in the Lima region. The tour was in English. The food choices were amazing. We went for breakfast at El Buen Horno which cooked freshly made bread in special stone oven. Jaime recommended an authentic Peruvian sandwich made of pork and w sweet potatoes, which was spot on. We did lunch at the famous number one restaurant in the Ica region at Tacama for authentic Peruvian cuisine. The choices for food were top quality and we thank both Henry and Jaime for taking us to those places. The restaurant also included a very nice live performance traditional dance. They were on time and some of nicest and most knowledgeable people you’ll ever meet. I highly recommend both of them without reservation. Would love to have them as our tour guide again on future Peruvian adventures!

Carlos and Jaime arrived early for our tour. Carlos held doors, provided water and most importantly got us to each stop safely during a very long day. Jaime provided a great overview of the day, insights on Peru’s history, economy and current events, and answered every question we threw at him. He was waiting after each excursion, helped accommodate vegetarian meal requests, and was easy company. Would highly recommend!

Jaime is an excellent guide and Carlos is a great driver who got us to our destinations efficiently and safely. Jaime provided great commentary on all things Peruvian and non Peruvian. The Huacachina oasis and dune buggy ride was a blast. The private option was well worth our while as we were able to skip the Ballestas Islands boat ride in order to have more time to prepare for an early flight the next day. We were a little disappointed that we were not credited with the cost of the boat ride, but we did not let that detract from an excellent tour.
