Evening Lima Walking Tour Historic Center And Pisco Sour

Our experienced travel guide was Eduardo and he was very knowledgeable and had answers to all our questions. We paid $98 for two people and the tour was about five hours long...supposed to be four hours but the traffic was horrible. The catacombs were creepy but quite interesting and it was pretty cool to know that there were actual monks living in the convent. Walking down the promenade full of shops and restaurants (and some churches) was very entertaining. We stopped for a Peruvian churro, courtesy of the tour, mine was filled with chocolate. Delicious! The Pisco Sour, invented in Peru, was excellent, very tart. Just what we needed after our sweet treat. Thank you Eduardo for a tremendous and informative tour, you were the perfect guide. We had a great tour with Mafer y Viviana. They picked us up at the assigned tourist shop with a private driver and we went right to the Catacombs. Take into account that driving from Miraflores in traffic is about 45 minutes each way, so the duration of the actual tour is a bit shorter. After the catacombs we toured the main squares and had a great Pisco Sour back in Miraflores. Mafer was knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. Vivi is also wonderful. We learned a lot and would book again.

Did the walking tour through our hostel the bus fare and tip is so worth it for the amount of information and things you get to learn about. It is at a good pace and you see plenty of beautiful spots. Juancho was an amazing tour guide with great recommendations and a large knowledge about Lima.

Juancho and George were our guides for the walking tour. 100% recommend signing up for this. The stop at a large variety of places, including Peru signature fruits, snacks, and meals. Both are charismatic, answer all our questions and have good knowledge about Peru! Would do it again for sure :)

There was a large group which was split between two guides - one speaking English and one, one Spanish. Mafer was our English speaking guide and was fantastic. She shared the facts and told stories around the facts to make it a very memorable tour. I thoroughly recommend this tour. If I were in town for longer I would have gone on the other available tours too. Thank you Mafer. 🙏

The first 1.5h was spent collecting other participants befor the tour actually startet. The tour by Juancho was confucted like 2nd grade history classes. And if you are so adamant that you want at leadt 35 Sol each and even count the money before letting people leave don't call it a "free walking tour" that's based on tips but just sell tickets at 35 Sol.

I was a nice experience with ruby. At the end we had three shots . One of the was nice other one , i don’t like a lot of. You need to figured out which one .

Our guide, Juancho, was terrific. He is incredibly knowledgeable and considerate. The tour combines historical facts, an “insider” view of history and contemporary events, and stops at several places for snacks and pisco sours. Highly recommend. While the tour is free, the guides work for tips. Currently, the recommended tip is 35 soles/person.

I booked the Walking Tour in Lima a week ago. We saw many things in Lima and learned about the history and some buildings. At the end of the Tour Rubi and Estefano brought as to a place where you could taste wine and pisco. Some really great facts as well as restraint recommendations which some of us did go get Chifa per Rodrigo’s recommendation and it was amazing!! Definitely would do it again.

Very well organised tour of Lima Centre, with multiple stops along the way with detailed explanations at each stop, our guide on the day Rubi was very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions the group had, the tour didn't feel rushed and moved at nice pace, our guide Rubi was also able to give multiple recommendations for food/museums etc if you decided to stay in the centre, a good tour if it is your first thing to Lima to get your bearings, would recommend.
