Bike Tour Lima | Ride Along Miraflores & Barranco

Although they use older bikes, they are in very good working order. The guide is knowledgeable and helpful. The areas through which we rode were very interesting. This tour is well worth the price!

We just returned from this 3-hour bike tour with Jose as our guide and thoroughly enjoyed it. Of course, a big part of any tour is with whom you’re sharing it and we had a nice group of five plus Jose. He took us thru some lovely parts of Miraflores and Barranco, and the weather cooperated perfectly. These areas were a bit hilly at times and we got off our bikes to walk thru a beautiful area of Barranco close to the wall murals that included a lot of steps, but it was all very manageable. The bikes and helmets were all in good shape and Jose was prompt to assist anyone whose equipment needed attention. Jose is very knowledgeable of the area and shared some fun facts we wouldn’t have run across otherwise. He also had some nice restaurant suggestions we’re going to investigate. All told, it was a great way to spend our first day in Lima and we highly recommend this tour!

The tour was a really good way to see Miraflores and Barranco. We were shown various part of the two locations; we were very lucky with the weather, so the coast section of the tour was good. I think we cycled 13kms in the end. The bike lanes made it safe, the tour guide was friendly, informative and always making sure we were ok. A highly recommended way to see the city.

Had a very fun bike tour with Alex! Very helpful for people who are new to Lima. Great to hear some stories about the history of Miraflores, el Parque del Amor and the street art of Barranco. And biking is fun, recommend!

I did the free walking tour of the same company in the historic center and since it was very cool and the guides told us they also do bicycle tour along all the boardwalk, I decided to give it a try and it was great. I really like bike tours (mostly did them in Europe), so Lima being so well connected with bikelanes was a nice surprise for me. The bikes were in good condition and our guide was giving good tips and history of the place. All in all - definitely recommended :)

Our bike tour of lima was nice. Alex was out guide and he was informative and attentive. Helmets were provided, the hikes do not have water bottle holders but do have a rack over the back tire with bungee cords. The ride was about 10k. Riding in the core of the city was.challenging with limited traffic controls. Inexperienced city riders may find it difficult to follow as the guide provided few directions/signals for turns etc.

Had a great cycle tour if Lima with Alex and a small group. Safe to cycle as cycle paths, great way to see the city and get some history!

I always had a feeling for cities with a view to the ocean and Lima didn't disappoint at all. Riding along the boardwalk with some other travellers was a nice experience. Our tour guide also recommend some nice options for coffee and sunsets. I highly recommend this bike tour, a really good to explore around Miraflores and Barranco.

We had such a great time with Jose as our guide! We love doing bike tours of new places - Lima is a beautiful city with so much to see, this was a great way to start our trip and get an understanding of the layout. We got to see a couple different neighborhoods, and learn a lot about the different areas. I would highly recommend anyone that likes biking take this tour!

Our guide took us to places I never would have found by myself, and gave us wonderful tips for what to do in the city as well. Highly recommend this tour!

A bicycle tour along the boardwalk in Lima, located at the pacific coast, is the perfect way to enjoy the main highlights of Miraflores and Barranco: places like the Love Park, the shopping mall Larcomar and street art in the area! Our guide gave us an incredible amount of information in a very humorous way and knew the answers to all our questions. Incredibly heartwarming, nothing was missing, I can definitely recommend the tour!

The walk lasted about 2 hours The walking host was amazing. Full of knowledge explained everything in detail. It's definitely worth doing.

My sister and I had so much fun on this tour that we did both the historic center and Barranco tours with Alex! He was a great guide, informative, welcoming, and also incredibly funny. He also explained a few things in Spanish for those of us practicing, and I’d love to take a tour in Spanish with him next time. One of my favorite ways to get to know the flavor of a new place is by bicycle tour, and this was a lovely introduction to Miraflores and Barranco. José is friendly and easy to talk to, and gave a knowledgeable overview of the tour highlights, giving a local's insight to the area. I especially enjoyed the street art in Barranco! José was a great host and offered to take photos, answer questions, give recommendations, and allow us to enjoy the stop before continuing on. This tour gave me a nice overview of the area and how to get around, I only wish I'd done it sooner in my trip.

Great way to see the sights of Miraflores and Barranca. The weather was perfect and Alex a friendly and informative guide.

Great tour! Due to a system error the tour was not expecting us in the morning but was able to reschedule a private tour with us in the afternoon. Jose was an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide with fun stories of the local history. The bike tour was a great way to see parts of Lima that we might have missed on our own, and Jose kept an eye on us and made sure that we were safe throughout.

We enjoyed this bike tour exploring Lima’s Miraflores and Barranco neighborhoods with Jose. Jose was a great bike tour guide and provided a lot of information and history on the city Lima and the country of Peru. He is very energetic and friendly. He made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable before, during and after the ride. Some highlights of the bike tour were the picarones in Kennedy Park by the famous Picarones Mary who was featured on Netflix’s “Street Food: Latin America.” I had wanted to try these Peruvian donuts so this was a surprise treat! We also stopped by the Park of Love and took great photos along the way. We also stopped to enjoy a lot the street art in Barranco and covered a lot of areas and sites that would’ve been hard to do in a limited amount of time on foot, so this was a very informative and fun bike tour covering major sites in 2-1/2 hours with breathtaking views of Lima all enjoyed primarily on bike lanes! Highly recommend! The bikes were a bit old and rusty, but they did the trick for a leisurely ride on mostly flat roads in the bike lane. Helmets are also provided.

Really nice bike ride along the beach! Stopped at some nice parks, viewpoints, and saw some street art. Also got to try some Peruvian style donuts!

Jose was very responsive and friendly when booking, such a lovely person and so knowledgable about the area! He made sure we were safe and showed us places off the beaten track. It’s a great way to see Lima’s safe neighbourhoods when you don’t have much time, and ride along the beautiful coastline.. I only wish we could’ve stopped and spent more time in Barranco as it was such a vibey buzzy neighbourhood! We’ll have to go back one day.. thank you Jose for being a friendly, lovely guide!

This was the second tour with Lima by Walking. We did the Free Walking Tour with Jose, which was amazing. The next day we did the Bike Tour in Miraflores & Barranco, also with Jose. He is a great guide and did both tours really informative. We had a lot of fun and highly recommend this Tours!

This was my first bike tour and I absolutely loved it. Jose was my tour guide and he was amazing! I am a solo travel and he went above and beyond for me. The tour was about 2.5 hours and it was perfect. We stopped multiple times along the way to take pictures and he explained the history of the city. Highly recommend this bike tour!

Lovely afternoon bicycle ride in lima!! Our guide took us riding to park Kennedy, the park of love, the larcomar shopping mall, and along the boardwalk with a view to the ocean. We also enjoyed some beautiful graffiti. The tour was easy enough for us, Would recommend for sure!

From the beautiful parks of Miraflores to the amazing street art in Barranco and even more, José knows all about it and additionally on top of that he has got a lot of tips and recommendations for you. We loved this bike tour. The guide shared knowledge about life in Lima and even took us out for a local lunch. Miraflores and barranco are very pretty and scenic with plenty of stops for photos. Only had a couple of days in Lima and I highly recommend!
