I spent a wonderful day in Lima with Patricia Montoya as my guide, and she truly made the city come alive. Her knowledge is impressive: at the Larco Museum she guided me through centuries of pre-Columbian history with depth and clarity, pointing out details I would never have noticed on my own. At Huaca Pucllana, she brought the ancient Lima culture to life, helping me understand how this remarkable adobe pyramid still stands in the middle of modern Miraflores. Beyond her expertise, Patricia is a genuine pleasure to be with. She is warm, attentive, and easygoing, with a natural way of sharing stories that made the day feel personal rather than scripted. She listened to my questions, adjusted the pace to suit me, and made me feel completely welcome. A special thank-you as well to my driver, Mr. Giancarlos, who was professional, punctual, and kind throughout the day. He navigated Lima's traffic calmly and safely, and his courteous manner added to a seamless experience. I recommend Patricia and Mr. Giancarlos without hesitation to anyone visiting Lima. They made my day both enriching and truly enjoyable.
I lucked out and was the only person on my tour! My tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about Peru's history and made the experience enjoyable! The Larco Museum is insanely beautiful! Only suggestion is to ensure you book enough time to really get to see everything there is to see there!
This tour was absolutely perfect. We learned so much that wasn’t available on the museum plaques. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. I would recommend this trip to anyone
This was fantastic tour and I learnt so much about Peru, including its culture, history and more about the Inca and pre-Inca periods. Miguel was a fantastic tour guide and I highly recommend!
We toured the ruins of Huaca Pucllana with a very knowledgable guide, very informative. We next had a guided tour of the Larco museum. The pieces in the museum are priceless and beautiful. Our guide provided the detailed background information to help us learn and appreciate those many pieces. Very, very good.
In-depth understanding of Peruvian pre-Colombian indigenous history with a knowledgeable tour guide.
Manuel did a fantastic job with the tour. His knowledge was great. He was very courteous as well. The driver did a great job driving thru Lima's traffic.
Glad that the tour did Huaca Pucclana first so that I could spend as much time in the Larco Museum as I wanted. The tour allowed only about an hour in the museum, but I stayed on after the tour ended and took a taxi back to my hotel in Miraflores.
Huaca Pucllana in Lima made even more amazing with my guide and Larco Museum incredible holding so many treasures from so long ago!
The tour was great the tour guides were on time and very knowledgeable. I loved learning about my Peruvian culture. I would definitely do another tour again
We had an engaging and informative tour with Jonathan. He was well versed in the archaeological site and museum we visited and provided access and context we’d never have gotten on a DIY tour.
My small group booking ended up being a solo tour. My guide Jonathon was very knowledgeable about Peruvian history and culture and I thoroughly enjoyed this half day tour. I took the morning tour and it was nice to beat the crowds in Huaca Pucllana. Yes you could do it on your own but having a guide brings your experience to another level. The included transportation between the two sites was nice and efficient. Tip: After the tour of the Larco Museum have lunch at the Cafe Museo Larco. The food is delicious and service impeccable. I had reservations but was able to get in early.
I had a wonderful half day on this trip exploring Huaca Pucllana and the Larco Museum. The guide, Miguel, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the sites and both him and the driver (I didn’t catch his name) went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to recommend places to visit in Lima. I would highly recommend this tour. Both the pyramid and the museum are fascinating. Thank you!
The ancient ruins in the middle of the city were incredible! Very good guide, Jose! We went to the Museo Larco which tied all the 2 weeks of Peruvian history! Thanks for being a great driver too Ivan!
Elisa was our guide and she did a wonderful job. She was enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge. The tour of Huacca Pucllana was informative & impressive. The Larco Museum was unbelievable & would take hours to go through. Elisa gave us a tour & pointed out the most important pieces. Definitely a must do!
Amazing visit to Huaca Pucllana an amazing place where you learn a lot about the pre-Inca cultures and a tour of the Larco Museum with a lot of information starts from our guide Rudy
Place that evidences the pre-Columbian culture of Peru, excellently well preserved, cared for and managed. Ideal for a walk on a cloudy day, to take advantage and enjoy the walk or tour.
All very well, the Guide, Miguel and the driver very correct. Good experience. Schedule very well fulfilled. Very well explained the visits.
