The overall experience provided by Vipac for the 12 days was Amazing. We were informed daily about the activities and meeting points and accompanied every day by competent guides that were very knowledgeable and friendly. The quality of the accommodations and transportation was good to very good overall. The only problem with our visit was related with the Nazca Lines tour that was unavailable (due to governmental restrictions and regulations) and Vipac provided with a few options that not being ideal were the best possible alternatives. I would only wish in this case that we were informed earlier.

Short? The tour agency was great, each place we had someone accompanying us but also plenty of free time, the transport was clean, plenty legroom and most tour guides speak English well. The drivers were good too (not once did I get sick in the car despite the serpentines ahah). Perfect if you want your kids (daughters) travel safely in Peru. Okay so here’s a quick backstory: My parents been in Peru about 20 years ago and were impressed. They wanted us to see it too (me, 21, my sis, 18) but were worried about our safety. So a guided tour was our best option. Together with my dad, we spent months planning our itinerary. We had 12 days to see most landmarks and here’s the catch: Ballestas or Nazca? I regret watching too many travel bloggers on tt who altered my perception and so i chose Ballestas instead (even tho i was fascinated by Nazca lines since i was a child :( (which i now regret). But yeah for 12 days straight we had an organized plan: when to wake up, where and when will be picked up and dropped off, most guides/drivers speak English, but if you speak Spanish you’ll feel more comfortable ahhah (my sis speaks Italian, I speak French and German with Russian are kinda useless there). I won’t go thru all sighsteeings just more or less a general take away. Sacred Valley was the first thing we got to see and it served as this build up - the hotel was truly lovely! It was a great introduction to Inca Empire’s heritage. Then was the Inca Rail ride to the town next to Machu Picchu (Aguas Cal.). Dressed in Incan clothes, singing and dancing workers of IR lead us to the train. We were lucky and got upgraded, you can imagine it as this Orient Express-type of train, very clean and chic. Then was Ag.Cal. And Machu Picchu which is as amazing as you imagine. Truly unique. You can ask the bus driver to stop at Mariposarium (you’ll have to walk back to the town yourself - about 15-20 mins, very nice scenery). It’s a nice stop because we already saw so many butterflies and it was a nice breather ahah Cusco was beautiful but I had altitude sickness so I had to skip Vinicunca (my sis had no al-s. So she went there with a Spanish speaking group). Titicaca left me with mixed feelings. On one side Taquile really had this charm and even tho it was cold and pouring I really loved it (bring cash cause they had the best hand made knitted headbands, scarves etc), uros on the other hand was a bit disappointing (my mom been telling me about the floating islands my entire life and how cool they were). And while it’s a truly unique place and I’ve never seen anything like that before and it’s crazy how ppl actually live there, it felt tacky, plastic and touristy… now that’s my impression and honestly I get the reasons why. Anyhow I got beautiful tapestry for home. I’d say best thing is to wind down your expectations 😝 thx mom You want believe how happy I was to go back to the sea level. Lima welcomed us with warm sunny weather and honestly I loved the beach (I’m a sea person at the end of the day). Not for swimming, even tho the water was warm, but just a stroll, we saw lots of surfers. Then we went to Paracas and it’s probably the only somewhat disappointing part of the trip. We were dropped off at the hotel, the best description would be занюханный but idk the English alternative. The sea was dirty and stinky. There’s really not that much to do other than Ballestas Islands and the National Park. We had a boat tour to Ballestas next morning, we were dropped off at this fancier hotel with nice gardens. They offered coffee and croissants/pain au chocolat before departure and let me tell you those pastries were just as good as any from a French boulangerie. We saw the Candelabra (geoglyph) and then headed to the Ballestas. I really wanted to see the penguins, but we just saw a couple on top of the cliff. So don’t trust those travel bloggers, it’s really luck. The guys I talked to at IR station showed me pictures and even they had more penguins ahahha. Again. That’s MY IMPRESSION AND EXPECTATIONS Ahhahah. Anyway, we soon went back to the hotel, and in the evening came back to Lima. Next and final day we had a tour around the city (my inner European felt right at home in the downtown and cathedrals and the Larco museum, which will remain in my top 5 Museums of all times). I hope you don’t get the wrong impression, everything felt new and unlike anything I’ve seen before (I say that as a proud traveler with 55+ countries behind me). A takeaway? Yes, watch the travel bloggers, yes do keep in mind that altitude sickness can knock you down and ruin your time in the beautiful beautiful Andes! And trust me better you stay the afternoon in the hotel and chill than add another place to your visit, and you will see enough regardless.
The organization of the journey was perfect and all the people we met were incredible. The transportation system was always on time. All the tour guides were very professional and gave us all the information about Perù, history and culture. Alexandra was a very perfect guide during our tour in the Sacred Valley in Cusco and a big thanks to Caroline in Cusco because of the big help she gave us at the airport. At the end our journey was absolutely perfect.
Thank you to VIPAC - Viagens Pacifico for the organization, demonstrated knowledge of the entire local culture, professionalism, and schedule coordination. This was undoubtedly one of the best trips I've ever taken with this type of distance, places to visit, and 14 days full of adventures, great guides, and transfers. If I have the opportunity, I will return and will always recommend you for sure. Thanks from Portugal
We had a great trip! The accommodations were wonderful, the guides were professional and informative. Our guide at Machu Picchu was not great but the agency went above and beyond to make it right.
Fatima, the English assistant is very impressive. She helped us a lot. Her kindness and knowledge let me feel at home. All the other tour guides and drivers are very good.
Everything was great and went really smoothly. Very well organised, guides were all kind and amazing at their jobs (specially Betto in Puerto Maldonado, Ana Maria in Puno, Juan in Tiwanaku and Frank in Machu Pichu). The trip was complex due to multiple cities and activities but all went off the charts. Security as always a strong point with a continuous support at airport departures and arrivals. The only downside was a change at the Puerto Maldonado hotel, which put us in a lower level lodge. The local guide and the experience made up to it, but the expectations weren’t met on that specific location.
The organization was perfect, the guides were super nice and all the tours we made were amazing! The kindness and the availability of Vipac team made this experience in Peru unforgettable!
We enjoyed the journey and in particular the very kindly and prepared guides! A special mention for Beppe who stayed with us for three days and who was very available and friendly.
Peru is a marvelous and magical country. From world class cuisine in Lima, to the magic and adventure of the sacred valley, to the other wordly nature of Titicaca! An amazing journey supoorted by a world class tour operator like Vipac. Highly recomendable.
Excellent coordination in the services and very nice and knowledgeable guide in each particular tour. Very good and safety drivers.
It was challenging we had to be ready at 6 am till 7 pm We did not rest enough from Machupichu and next day was the mountain of color that we did not make since we had to be ready at 3 am. The rest of the adventure was amazing!!!
it was an amazing trip! Thank you very much for organizing all the excursions! All the guides are excellent professionals. special thanks to Hector, with whom we had a tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. very interesting!
Everything very well organized. They informed us promptly of all the schedules. A very close and friendly treatment.
Everything was great, very orderly and with exceptional guides
Well organized, good guides. Alternatives when they were necessary. Well-selected hotels and restaurants.
Excellent service. Attention and quality of people
I was traveling alone and would have preferred to always be with the same group and the same guide. I also had a few days where there were few scheduled activities and a lot of free time. Otherwise, everything was fine. Hotels, activities completed (except for the Lake Titicaca one), guides, transfers. Everything very good.
Highly recommended experience: guides, pickups, transfers, safety, stops, etc. are a 10
Good organization and follow-up by the agency. Very interesting and well-planned visits.
The trip was spectacular, we had a very good time discovering the best of Peru, such as Lima, Arequipa, the overflight of the Nazca Lines, Puno and its Lake Titicaca and the majestic Machu Picchu. VIPAC is an excellent company, with unparalleled professionalism and outstanding treatment from the guides and drivers towards us, which allowed us to travel and enjoy all the destinations with total peace of mind.
It was a beautiful trip, I will definitely recommend it to my friends.
The company we had in Peru was VIPAC; I recommend it 100 percent. We loved the treatment, the drivers, and the guides, and we would do it again.
Recommendation: the hotel in Cusco where I stayed, room 510, had fleas and I killed them... it was mentioned to the hotel reception and the guide.
Excellent organization, efficient and very competent. High-level guides with a special mention for Brunella and Alvaro. Uncle Al is truly a great person. Highly recommended Furthermore, they made themselves available to help us integrate the tour with two additional stops: Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain and the Amazon.
Very good organization. We have always felt attended to. Excellent punctuality. Very good local guides.
Everything was very good; the guides were well-trained and approachable. The service received was excellent
I recommend Pacific Travels to explore Peru.
The entire tourist experience reflected exactly what was contracted and was exceptional. But the most notable aspect is the constant presence of the VIPAC staff, anticipating all our needs and informing and coordinating activities at each site. I have nothing but gratitude for everything experienced during these 12 days with VIPAC in Peru.
Excellent experience, very responsible and kind
Excellent, punctual, all the guides were very good, reliable, very good quality
Agenia Viaggi dell' Elefante with local tour operator in Peru 'VIAJES PACIFICO' (VIPAC): professional guides and collaborators, effective in solving any issues, punctual, detailed in explanations and historical narratives, local artisanal cultures and agricultural productions, profound knowledge of history, locations, altitude, food with also remarkable historical details and listening skills, in Aymara or Quechua translating the meanings of the names of the ancient Inca Kings into images or contemporary meanings, and not least, knowledge of the Italian language, which is very important, generous and very cooperative drivers. -Paracas/Nasca, Tacama, Huacachina, Ballestas, Raqui: Nasca visibility from the plane is precise with valid indications from the pilot; locations and restaurants meet expectations, the "sore point" is obviously the small plane, 10-12 seats, with maneuvers that leave a bit of discomfort, but it was expected. Gabriel Hinostroza, a very professional guide, accompanied us to several sites with high professionalism. -Arequipa, Puno: Andean Sanctuary Museum 'Princess of Ampato', Yanahuara, Santa Catalina Monastery, Colca, Cruz del Condor: Carmen, our excellent guide, provided us with an in-depth tour of each site, covering ancient and modern life and customs, as well as details on fibers, weaving, the differences between various camelids, and their wool production. -Cusco, Chinchero, Sacred Valley, Agua Caliente, Machu Picchu, Maras Salt Mines: Rivelino, our guide for these sites, demonstrated extensive knowledge about the sites and their history. He was friendly, professional, and well-prepared; his excellent relationships helped us avoid potential problems, providing a deep understanding of both local and European historical culture, giving us a broad perspective on the historical moments experienced by different rulers. Rivelino, in particular, along with the other guides, allowed us to see things from a different perspective that we, as tourists, would not have been able to see, making us feel more like guests than 'traveling' tourists. Thank you. A disappointing note: at Aguas Calientes, Hotel El Mapi by Inkaterra, the customer check-in process needs improvement, as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant/breakfast tables, which lacked tablecloths or placemats, with cutlery placed directly on the table. The organization of breakfast also needs improvement: restoring cups and replenishing food items took considerable time (reference time 07:00).
VIPAC TRAVEL!!!!! EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE, PUNCTUALITY, AND KINDNESS
Excellent experience, knowledgeable guides attentive to every need. Unforgettable tour without worries!
It is an excellent journey and adventure
Excellent excursion service Never seen a service in the world so top
Excellent Guides,Publicity and attention
Congratulations excellent agency , all the guides very professional, attentive, punctual, and always with the best willingness to help you. I highly recommend them!!!
It was an EXCELLENT trip in general, 9 days very well organized, the guides with a lot of knowledge and experience in the tours that led us (especially Carlos Huiza made us feel the magic of Peru in general) also Samuel and Lila excellent people and committed to their work, we returned with the desire to return and know more of that beautiful country (its people, its food, places and of course Macchu Picchu ) Thank you very much to ALL (@)
Book in Spain with Travel El Corte Inglés Our congratulations on the wonderful organization throughout our trip Excellent coordination and communication Punctuality in collections Good guides and good drivers Good transport vehicles Overall, we give our best score
Wonderful Peru Excellent VIPAC
Everything perfect. Highlight the human staff of the agency: professionalism and constant attention.
Our trip was wonderful in every respect .. Peru is a beautiful country and its people are extremely kind and friendly. But the real pearl were the agency’s services, great credit to the guides, good, prepared, empathetic and fun. We could not ask for more on our trip. A thank you from the bottom of our heart goes to Nico Perci for the first part of the trip, with his information and anecdotes .. Carmen who pampered us like a sweet mother, Janet who made us discover Lake Titikaka .. and Reinaldo who accompanied us to Machu Picchu with great attention and kindness. We will never forget you♥️
Plan flights well so you don't lose days , in Cusco prepare for altitude sickness ,nothing happens but some people need a day of adaptation and if you go to the Amazon wear cotton shirts and long sleeves and fresh but long pants and very important protector for mosquitoes and the sun
We went to Arequipa, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Calientes/Machu Pichu and Lima in 12 days. The Vipac agency was sensational, everyone we relate to - guides, drivers and backpacker. We got very safe, one of the best agencies we've ever had.
The guides without forgetting the drivers are very present and punctual. I liked the experience at the hacienda of piss sarapampa. The two downsides were: the problem of the suitcase that cannot be taken to Machu Picchu and disappointment for the hotel room of the premium casa andina of Arequipa that looks like a cave.
Bad experience. We were supposed to be on a tour of about 14 people. We discovered on arrival in Lima that it was just the two of us. Changes in schedule and travel. Lack of transparency and accountability
All very nice, beautiful trip and vipac always present at all times. Thank you!!!! Highly recommended, we will choose them again!!
A journey where culture, nature and history merge. Its people are very friendly and in each person you can find ancestral knowledge. His blue skies, his meals, his love for the earth.... for me were beautiful and unforgettable moments. Enterprise guides are very attentive people and make the richest walks. Thanks for everything. I hope to come back someday.
Punctual Enterprise and perform the work with excellence! We had no problem with schedules or lack of information.
