What a fun class! Greta food and drinks and zacaelos our teacher was fun and very informative.

We met our tour guide Andrea at the Pickup location. Free transportation was offered but our hotel was only 3 blocks away. Great communication with Gabriel thru WhatsApp made it easy. Andrea was great! Super knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to hang with. We got some delicious cheeses and fruits local to Peru and brought them all back to the restaurant before our cooking class to try. There is no better way to learn about the Peruvian ingredients.

I had such a great on the cooking classes, David was a great chef, he taught us how do make a Causa, Pisco Sour and of course the classic Ceviche, he’s the best one !!!

We had an amazing cooking class and market tour with Camila and David! They were both so awesome! The market tour was so interesting, learning about all the different meats, vegetables, and snacks that they eat in Peru. Camila also bought us a bunch of snacks of our choice to try during the tour! The cooking class was so much fun, all the dishes were delicious and we got a free pisco sour, along with the one that we made! Highly recommend this tour!

Camila was the best tour guide we could’ve asked for! She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and funny! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone traveling to Lima, it was great to experience the food history and culture up close and personal. The place was beautiful, and it was also great for large groups, there were 6 of us! Perfect length of time too, filled up a good portion of our day and we left feeling full and satisfied!

Dasha was an excellent guide and chef who not only taught us how to cook, but also helped us appreciate Peruvian cuisine even more. My mom and I will definitely bring these recipes and experiences back to our own kitchen, and we are truly grateful for her kindness, positive energy, and willingness to help.

This was the best cooking class I have ever attended. The tour started with meeting Dasha who is incredibly friendly and professional. Her English is also amazing for people who don’t have great Spanish. Dasha took us to the market and explained all of the local produce. We picked up some incredible fruits and Dasha cut them up for us and they were all delicious. The class is good value and you get to make two dishes and a cocktail. Dasha explained everything perfectly and we had so much fun learning from her. All the food and drinks were delicious and we would highly recommend! Thank you Dasha, it was amazing!

Great explanations from Dasha in the market and during the cooking class. Good pacing throughout, fool-proof method for making tasty causa and ceviche. Recipes were provided afterwards. Nice venue.

We had such a fun time touring the market and making local dishes! We had amazing guides (Cemila and David) who were full of energy and love for the culture and food! So so much fun!!

We had an amazing cooking class with Naomi and she didn’t just shared the amazing recipes that we replicated in person but shared some very valuable knowledge about Peruvian history and of course the “good-to-know” information about Pisco. I am so grateful that we signed up for this experience, but especially that we got to experience it with Naomi. People who can’t take jokes(especially Chileans) , better ask for other facilitator.:) This small group of people managed to bond throughout the session and we had a great time! The class lasted around 3-3,5 hours including great chats and the cooking class.

Wow....we really enjoyed the entire afternoon. The trip to the market was really fun and there were so many fruits, vegetables, spices, etc. to experience. Out guide purchased a bunch of items for us to share when we returned to Luchito's. Equally, the cooking class was great. The chef was entertaining while engaging us in making several Peruvian dishes and drinks. My wife and I felt the time and the cost were well spent. Dave & Nancy

We had an amazing market tour with Camila who was so fun and insightful. She made us discover and taste all sorts of fruits we had never seen before. The cooking class was also a lot of fun with Naomi. The dishes were well explained and simple enough to prepare for the entire group. Everything was delicious and fresh!

Camila led us thru the local market and explained in great detail the local food. Had a great time. Then we had a cooking class led by Dasha. I don’t really like to cook but all my dishes were a success. Such fun. Both Dasha and Camila showed us a beautiful side of Lima

We very much enjoyed our experience. Camila was great at explaining various vegetables and fish at the market. We then had a cooking class with Dasha who talked us through the process of making the starter dish, pisco sour and ceviche. It was a great experience overall.

We had such a fantastic experience with both Lucho and Dasha. The market tour with Dasha was a real highlight, she brought so much energy and knowledge, walking us through the local stalls and introducing us to a wide variety of traditional foods we never would have discovered on our own. She explained everything in a really engaging and approachable way, making it both fun and informative. The cooking class with Lucho was just as impressive. He created such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and his passion for Peruvian cuisine really came through. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and we learned so much while still having a great time. The food we prepared was absolutely delicious and felt very authentic. Highly recommend!!!!

We did this activity in Lima in April 2026 as a couple and had a fantastic experience overall. The market tour started with a smaller group, which made it feel more personal and easy to follow. Our guide, Camila, gave a really thorough and engaging tour, explaining lots of local ingredients and even helping us pick up a few things to try before the class. Camila had loads of personality, which made the whole experience really fun. The cooking class itself was slightly larger but very hands-on, with everyone preparing their own versions of each dish. The instructions were clear and easy to follow throughout. We made causa, ceviche, and pisco sours, and enjoyed eating everything we had prepared afterwards. The atmosphere was relaxed and social, and the whole experience felt very well organised. Overall, a great way to learn about Peruvian cuisine in a fun and interactive setting.

The cooking class with Luis was so much fun! He created a fun, engaging atmosphere and was very accommodating with gluten-free needs, making sure I didn’t miss out on anything. Delicious food and a great experience ! I’d definitely recommend it.

When researching cooking classes in Lima, Luchito’s had review after review raving about it. The class did not disappoint. Dasha took us around the market and was so knowledgeable about the huge variety of fruits and vegetables available. She even got us samples of drinks and snacks. When arriving to the restaurant, we were greeted with pisco sours. The actual class clear, simple, and entertaining. Not to mention, we made more food than I could eat. Dasha was hands on and funny. Causa, pisco sours, and ceviche. Then, we ended the class with shots or pisco and lots of laughs. I cannot recommend this class enough!
