This hotel is positioned as 4 star but sincerely it isn’t even close. It is old, things in the room were broken (could not use the safe, neither set the ar conditioning temperature), besides, it is close to a event place, that makes a lot of noise. The breakfast is weak ! Repetitive and few opinions. The location is good and close to the hype

We had a great stay at this hotel in the Miraflores area. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful, even merging our tour booking with our personal stay so we didn't have to change rooms. They also kindly accommodated our request to switch from a double to a twin room without any hassle. The breakfast was a highlight, offering plenty of fresh options and arguably the best coffee and rotating hot food we encountered during our time in Peru. The hotel has a charming, older vibe and is situated in a location with excellent walkability to nearby attractions. While the rooms weren't perfectly silent, the noise level was very reasonable for such a central area. The only minor downsides were the lower water pressure in the shower and the Wi-Fi speed; while the connection was stable, it clocked in at around 50 Mbps, which is a bit slower than the 500 Mbps we noticed in local cafes. Overall, this was an excellent value-for-money stay in one of the more upscale parts of Lima.
San Agustin was a good hotel. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was quite, safe, and affordable. The one thing I did not appreciate was the interaction with the front desk staff. They gave me a long list of things for which they would charge me, including $5 for the key card, which I found ridiculous. They went on to list a couple of more things (breakfast bag because my tour started before breakfast was available), etc. This did not feel very welcoming. Other than that, the breakfast itself was good, so I enjoyed. I think it is the little things that truly make a difference. This is something they should consider.
Our travel agent booked a room in this hotel during our visit to Lima. Great location. Mira Flores is maybe the safest and nicest area in Lima- Peru. surrounded by stores, restaurants and casinos. A couple block from the hotel there is a nice park “Kennedy” We had a pleasant stay at this hotel, and the customer service was truly excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always willing to help, which made my visit very comfortable. Franklin was amazing and helped us with valuable information to navigate around the area. The restaurant area is comfortable. The menu for breakfast was very good. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement, particularly in maintenance. I noticed some worn-out areas, including pieces of carpet that were coming up and could easily cause someone to trip. Addressing these safety concerns and updating some of the property’s upkeep would make a big difference. Overall, I appreciated the great service, but a bit more attention to maintenance would make this hotel even better.
My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the San Agustin Exclusive Hotel in Lima, and we were absolutely delighted with our experience. From the moment we arrived until the day of our departure, everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, I must highlight the exceptional service we received from the reception staff, particularly Diana and Nancy. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made our stay truly memorable. Their dedication to ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay is truly commendable. We were greeted with welcoming smiles, and they went above and beyond to cater to our needs and preferences throughout our stay. One incident that truly showcased the outstanding service was when we encountered an issue with some clothes that needed laundering. Diana and Nancy took immediate action to resolve the situation. Not only did they personally ensure that our clothes were collected from the laundry, but they also went the extra mile by arranging to have everything carefully packed and sent to us in Europe. Their commitment to guest satisfaction and problem-solving skills are truly commendable, and we are incredibly grateful for their efforts. Apart of the exceptional service, the hotel's central location allowed us to easily explore the nearby attractions, restaurants, and cultural sites, further enhancing our stay in Lima. Whether we were enjoying a leisurely stroll through the vibrant neighborhood or indulging in some of Peru's culinary delights, the convenience of the hotel's location was a definite plus. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and amazing stay in Lima.
