Loved this hotel. I slept so well. The beds are really comfy and the pool area is a nice place to relax. Only thing I would say that has nothing to do with the hotel- there aren't a lot of restaurants close by. Don't eat at Song Peruvian Chinese. They charged me for 2 dishes, 1 I didn't order and the food was not good at all.
Regardless of what you expect to pay, they will force you to pay a 10% service 'tax' on check in; it's not a tax, it's a hidden fee. Foreign tourists are exempt from real hotel taxes. They were inflexible and threatened to charge me if I cancelled. Other hotels in Peru do not charge scammy hidden fees like this. The rooms are old and unimpressive with damaged floors. The bed is super hard - 2 person bed barely fits 1. The location has nothing nearby, so expect to be bored. I regret booking this hotel. There are better options everywhere else.
We had an amazing time here. The reception lady was amazing had a good command of English as well. Was made to feel very comfortable and secure.
My team and I was here for more than a week as part of delegation for APEC Peru 2024. The hospitality by all of their staff, from front desk to kitchen and cleaner, is absolutely fantastic. We really enjoy throughout our trip.
El Golf Hotel Boutique offers an exceptional stay experience. The room is remarkably spacious and in excellent condition, with a comfortable bed ensuring a restful sleep. Though I encountered a minor issue with the shower lacking hot water, the receptionist promptly resolved it. The staff's helpfulness and kindness were consistently impressive; they provided invaluable directions and recommendations. The hotel's location is ideal, allowing convenient access to nearby attractions while maintaining a peaceful and secure atmosphere. I would have extended my stay without hesitation. Additionally, the proximity to a supermarket adds to the convenience of the location. Nice small pool.
