The hotel's location is excellent, and the atmosphere is extremely pleasant and relaxing. The accommodation is very comfortable, and the staff in charge of both the rooms and the restaurant provide excellent service. Breakfast is great. Highly recommended!
PROS: Location: Conveniently close to local restaurants and bars, though it is quite far from the city center (expect a 45–50 minute commute, especially during rush hour traffic). Rooftop Area: They have a nice, small rooftop pool with decent seating areas. CONS: Service & Check-In: The check-in process was incredibly slow, and the front desk staff weren’t particularly friendly. Furthermore, the bar and restaurant staff frequently pressured us for tips, specifically requesting them in cash, which felt uncomfortable. Room Comfort & Noise: The room sizes are modest, but the real issue is the lack of soundproofing. We could easily hear the loud street traffic outside. Worse, there was a group of college volleyball students staying next to us who were incredibly loud-playing music, laughing, and leaving their doors wide open. We reported this to reception twice, but seems like nothing was done as the disruption continued. Amenities: For a 4-star hotel, the room amenities fell short. We were only given two incredibly flat pillows; a 4-star property should default to four pillows for two guests. The gym is very small with limited equipment, and the hot sauna was barely heating up. Dining: The breakfast was okay but highly repetitive day after day. OVERALL: While the facilities are structurally "okay," the poor service, lack of noise control, and subpar room comfort mean this hotel does not live up to its 4-star rating. I wouldn't recommend it if you want a relaxing stay or quick access to the city center.
I'm staying at this hotel for the entire week. The staff is incredibly friendly, the facilities are beautiful, the breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are very well-equipped. Highly recommend it. I'll head home happy after this wonderful experience at this majestic hotel
Very good experience. The breakfast is good, and the location allowed us to walk to several shops. The only issue we had was that there was no heat in the room, however the a/c worked.
We booked a double, got a twin, only one pathetic pillow per bed. The air conditioning made a noise but just didnt get the temperature below 26.4c. NZ$8 for a bottle of corona bought from fridge by reception was a bit steep as it was takeaway. The buffet breakfast was very busy, people almost fighting for what food was left, possibly rates as one on the worst hotels I have stayed in for a long time, the location however if you wanted to visit the beaches was good
