I ate with my daughter at the hotel restaurant. We spent the rest of the night vomiting. I asked for a reimbursement for the cost of the food the next day on the basis of food poisoning. After doing an internal review, they denied my request. I can’t of course say 100% that they are responsible, but based on what I ate that day it is by far the most likely reason for my sickness. Disappointing they would not take responsibility, and I obviously font recommend the restaurant.
This Casa Andina hotel is really nice. It is in an excellent location in Miraflores, with plenty nearby and making it easy to explore. I arrived early (10:00 am) and they stored my luggage for the day. I was able to walk out to - and up and down - the coast and then explored Kennedy Park and all of its cats. The neighborhood is busy and felt very safe. When the restaurant across the street was absolutely blasting music, the Casa Andina staff got right on it and called someone to bring it down to a reasonable level. Thanks!
The rooms were good and spacious the internet is glitchy by time . The location is in miraflores which is really good location . If your breakfast is included in the room price is. Ok . Otherwise i do not recommend buy food or drinks there. There is plenty of restaurants and stores around the hotel for a cheap price
I booked 12 days here. I arrived early 10 am due to an early flight. The person at the desk says check in is at 2pm. Which is normal. Then they say if you pay 40 dollars you can check in early. But if not you have to wait until 2pm when your room is ready. Never in my life have i gone to a hotel that asks you to pay if a riom is ready. Which is it is a room ready when i pay 40 dollars but not ready until 2 if i dont pay 40 dollars. How does that make any sense at all. What well rated hotel charges you to checl in early to an empty ready room?
Very nice hotel, excellent location. Friendly personnel and good breakfast buffet. The reason for 4 stars is the absence of ventilation (you also can't open the windows) and lack of drains cleaning. The water in bathtub was not draining at all and the reason was the big chunk of hair stuck in the drain plug. The drains must be checked regularly. A 10 minute saving for maintenance work screwed up a good experience. Of course the room was very clean and for TV fans there is a huge unit hanging on the wall. I pay more attention to the fridge that worked well. Also an important part was a huge safe to keep your valuables. In general I am happy with the hotel.
