The below was sent to the reservations email and quality email. Still no reply. Dear management team, I am stayed at Eurostar Astoga last night and had a couple access to room using a swipe card and walk on me while I'm lying naked on the bed. This is highly unacceptable on a hotel at this level or any hotel. Never in my entire life if I had this happen before.I would like this taken into management and dealt with because this is not an acceptable situation. It's already bad enough that I've paid for the buffet breakfast because it said 7am on the website, when I booked but it's at 8 am.Now to have this happen as less than ideal. Not to mention the fact that the air-conditioning has taken four hours to come down from 31° to 24° even though I have it set on high and 21 the whole time. I don't normally complain, but given the current events that have just happened, I am honestly very shocked and surprised. Please advise what you propose to remedy the situation. I was concerned that somebody else will get into the room even though I had a dead bolted from the inside they're still managed to swipe and access to room.

Excellent stay in the heart of Astorga We recently stayed at Eurostars Vía de la Plata and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Astorga, making it ideal for exploring the town’s historic attractions on foot. 🏛️🚶♂️ The hotel occupies a beautiful historic building that combines character and charm with modern comforts. We stayed in a top-floor corner suite, which was exceptionally spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The large bathroom and lovely views from the room made our stay feel even more special. 🌄✨ The quality of the bed linen and towels was excellent, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. 😊👏 Secure parking is available and is a real bonus when travelling by car. 🚗🔒 However, the parking area is a short walk from the hotel and involves a few stairs, so it’s worth dropping off your luggage at reception before parking. This makes arrival and departure much more convenient. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast, which felt below the standard set by the rest of the hotel in terms of both quality and variety. 🍽️ Overall, this is a charming, comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location, and we would happily stay here again when visiting Astorga. Highly recommended! 👍🇪🇸
I would like to share my recent experience during check-in at [Hotel Name], which was far below the standards I expected—especially from a four-star hotel. We had booked two rooms through Expedia, but upon arrival, the front desk staff could only locate one reservation. I showed them my confirmation emails and my Expedia account, clearly proving that both rooms had been booked. The front desk agent called for assistance from another staff member (possibly a manager), but they were still unable to locate the second booking. Instead of offering a solution, I was told to call Expedia myself. Being a visitor from Canada, I had to activate my international data plan, which cost me extra just to make the call. While I was on the phone with Expedia, the staff eventually found the second reservation—but continued to ignore me when I asked multiple times whether I should hang up the call. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. The staff member who found the booking offered no apology, abruptly walked away, and made us feel as though the issue was somehow our fault. I remained polite throughout, even thanking her in hopes of encouraging a more respectful interaction, but it was clear that customer service was not a priority. To make matters worse, the hotel lacks basic amenities like a kettle or access to hot water, which is not what one would expect from a four-star property. Based on this experience, I would rate this hotel no more than two stars. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to improvements for future guests. There is a huge lack of customer service here. The room itself is ok though.
Really clean and fresh hotel with secure parking.. Breakfast was amazing. A fantastic selection of everything. The staff were really helpful and the place was spotless, the rooms were very modern and up to date with great facilities. It's located just off the main squares, with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from and only a ten minute walk to gaudis spectacle. Really nice town great atmosphere.
A great hotel in a very beautiful town, the staff are helpful and friendly. The only thing was on the first morning they ran out of breakfast items and when we went in at 09,30 they had no bread and the cakes had all gone, the nice girl tried her best though. The spa was really nice and relaxing for our tired feet etc . The hotel is perfectly placed for everything in the town from sightseeing to restaurants also it’s got a huge car park at the back which is free. They are going to refurbish the furniture as the chairs are all peeling and looking terrible.
