What an amazing day with Mauritius tours yesterday. We wanted to renew our vows to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary here in Mauritius. Jenny has been absolutely amazing helping to arrange it. From the very start she made suggestions kept us informed and went out of the way to make it a perfect day. She also called via WhatsApp to give it a personal touch. Nothing was too much trouble. We were kept updated on the pick up time from our hotel and when the weather wasn’t looking good she called straight away to explain there would need to be a change in location. The location that was chosen was still as stunning. We asked for pictures to be taken and Jenny very kindly added our favourite songs and videod us saying our vows. We received all the pictures and videos today and we couldn’t have asked for them to be any better. Jay was our chauffeur for the day as well as being the sound man. Jenny purchased some delicious fruit for us off a stall at another beach. We were also given water. Jay very kindly got us some sweet potato chips and ice creams to try on the way back to our hotel. If you’re planning on coming to Mauritius and want to book something special or one of their spectacular tours please don’t hesitate. They are a fantastic company and two very lovely people. As regular visitors to the island, and having done a number of different tours in the past, my wife and I got to see some incredibly beautiful places that we would never have discovered without Mauritius Tours, from waterfalls to caves, beaches and rock pools, and even a local restaurant for lunch that allowed us to sample some genuine Mauritian cuisine. We had an incredible day out on the Wild South Tour with Mauritius Tours! From the very beginning, we were briefed thoroughly so we knew what to expect. Our family of 4 from NZ had a fantastic day out yesterday with Jay @Mauritius Tours We decided on the Wild South Tour and were taken to some stunning spots that really show-cased the natural beauty of this island. Jay came with a wealth of knowledge, was extremely tentative and made sure we took home some wonderful memories of Mauritius. My husband, two children (aged 22 and 20) and myself went on the Wild South tour last week run by Mauritius Tours. We had a super day with our wonderful guide, Jay. I have had 2 partial knee replacements and had seen pictures and descriptions of the tour, but wasn’t sure if I would be able to complete the hike. Jay made it all accessible and was so encouraging. We visited a beautiful sea cave, secret beach and rock pool. The weather prevented us from going to the waterfall later that day, but even then Jenny and Jay tried to reschedule it for us. Communication with their company was first class and we all had a terrific day out seeing places we would never have found otherwise. If Carlsberg did excursions………. book it, you won’t regret it!

We came across this tour during our holiday in Mauritius. Out of all our tours it was definitly one of the best! From the very beginning, our guide was extremely welcoming, friendly and open to answer any of our questions. The tour was very well organized and we felt comfortable the whole day. Everything felt personal, relaxed and never rushed. So despite the initial uncooperative weather the trip was unforgetable, taking us to various different not well known but beautiful destinations. What an absolute fantastic adventure we had Mauritius Tours Taylor made the day just for our needs we had nature - thrills - culture and natural beauty. Jenny was the perfect Tour guide she is a fountain of knowledge and really is passionate about her country and giving clients the best experience ever we started at a hidden gem of a cave which required a little skill to access but Jenny made sure we were always safe . Then onto a private Beach with film like sand and waves so romantic and then we went to a local restaurant for lunch really getting to eat authentic Mauritian food with the locals and Jenny made sure I was able to eat it as I have allergies. From there we went on a little trek along the coast to the most amazing rock pool which was just breath taking !! And then to end the day we had another little trek to a awesome waterfall Jenny also brought her little halter Roxy who was just adorable and a very good hiker all in all a spectacular day reasonably priced and something away from the normal tours and very personal !!

Our contact with Jenny was first class and our excitement for our trip started here. From this point we felt invested in. I cannot recommend highly enough the Wild South Mauritius tour. From entering secret caves, swimming at deserted beaches, scenic clifftop coastal hikes to a secluded rockpool where you can enter the pool and where the Indian ocean waves frame the background, lunch in a traditional Mauritian cafe and a delightful hidden waterfall for a final swim of the day. The day was; action packed, adrenaline-fuelled and experience after experience. Lead by Jay this was by far the highlight of our holiday. This trip pushed me continually out of my comfort zone as i tried new experiences and with Jay's kindness and reassurance I had the most fantastic day. Should we be lucky enough to return to Mauritius, our first 'go to' for trips off the traditional tourist path will be with Jay, Jenny and of course Roxy, the hiking dog. We were picked up by Jay from our Hotel in the East of the Island. Jay took fantastic pictures at various places to give us lasting memories of our experiences. Like many visitors to the island we were overwhelmed with who to book a trip with. If you are a solo traveller, couple or small group, rest assured, if you want a trip to remember where it feels like you are out with a friend and not a stranger, you need not look any further than Mauritius Tours.

After a North of Island taxi tour which left us a bit underwhelmed (it was nice but didn't have the wow factor) we opted to do something a bit different for the South of the Island... those lovely people at Mauritius Tours managed to fit us in for a next day tour of 'secret' locations. Jay kindly collected us from our Belle Mare hotel and whisked us down to an unspoilt, spotlessly clean, deserted beach, which we had to ourselves, no reef, proper waves and warm water to swim in. From there we went on to a hidden cave... the stuff of Treasure Island & boys own adventure stories. A spot of lunch later (at a proper Mauritian restaurant eating amongst the locals) we moved on to an amazing idyllic rock pool, where we could bathe, whilst the Indian Ocean broke huge waves over the rocks just a few yards behind us... for one of those life-memory photo opportunities. Having been out since breakfast we then travelled on to a little-known waterfall, eager to catch it in all its glory before sunset. A final, crowd-free swim opportunity of the day in a beautiful clear pool with the waterfall cascading beside us, before being transported back to our hotel for what turned out to be an 11 hour day trip. I defy any other company to provide so much unique wow factor in a single day, for what was a reasonable price, all conducted by qualified, insured, supremely knowledgeable guides. So what can I say! We were worried about the weather, the experience, if we could cope, if it was value for money. It was 100% worth all of it. Jenny, Jay & Roxy were amazing, understanding, helpful, reassuring and made the day of our holiday. It was more than we ever expected or hoped for and if we hired a car we would never have found any of the places we were taken to. We also witnessed first hand other tour guides in the area that looked unsafe and probably unqualified. Jenny and Jay helped us and our kids, reassured us and made our initial nerves disappear within the first 30 mins. Honestly the best experience and our Mauritius would not have been the same without them. Obviously Roxy (Their rescue dog) stole the show, but that’s understandable as she is amazing and we also met her friends along the way. I never usually leave reviews but i honestly felt I needed to after our experience we had to tell people that this is the company to use when you want to see the hidden gems away from the tourist traps. We only regret we could not fit in another excursion!

The original Wild South tour - others have tried to imitate the tour but they are not as researched and prepared as these guys. From the moment we were picked up, to when we were dropped off, the whole trip was amazing and well planned. Jay was a fabulous guide and personalises the trip to your abilities. He helped my teenage daughter, who was a little unsteady on her feet at times, to navigate all the terrains. They fully research tides and weather, and make sure you are fully prepared to ensure you get the best possible experience and photo opportunities. We had a fantastic adventure and fully recommend.

Fantastic guides who showed us the best spots and gave us genuine insight into local life and culture. Having their dog Roxy join our group (by our request!) made it extra special for the children. Brilliant service, warm hospitality, and memories for a lifetime. my 7 year old said it was "the best life ever." Also a huge plus that they care for environment and animals. Highly recommended!

I would recommend a tour with Mauritius Tours if you are visiting this paradise island. We had a day out with Jay and had the best time. The tour was to places that you wouldn’t find without the help of an experienced guide. We visited a secluded beach and had a swim in the sea there, explored a cave that you would never stumble across if you were out exploring on your own. We swam in an ocean side pool that had waves crashing in to it as well as a pool under a waterfall, there was also the opportunity in the day to stand under two waterfalls and experience the power of the water cascading down on to you. This tour was one of the best that we have been on. If you want tour with lots of other people and to come across other tour groups doing the same thing when you are out then sign up with the masses, if you want a tour that is more personal then pay a little bit more and sign up with Mauritius Tours you won’t be disappointed with the day, we hardly saw anyone else when we were out visiting the sites with them.

We booked the Wild South Tour after seeing a review by Just Kris on Facebook. It was an early start but was worth it!!! We picked up Jay at 7am and he took over the driving and off we went. At the cave I struggled with the climbing along slippery rocks so Jay found a different route for me and then through the rest of the trip showed me exactly how and where to put my feet - even at times held my hand to make me feel safer - I honestly can’t thank him enough. The first waterfall was beautiful a couple of photos taken there before we left we bought (and paid 200 MUR) for fresh coconut. Off on the next drive to our own secluded 🏖️ beach first swim opportunity - though Jay does warn you about the currents, but it was fun. Lunch was great - I had the noodles delicious. We went to the stunning rock pool - this was challenging for me but Jay directs you well to keep you safe - and it’s something I’ll never forgot - relaxing in the volcano rock pool with waves crashing all around you. Spotting lots of crabs and rock hoppers, sea urchins and we even saw an octopus hiding too then Jay says stand still … I’m not going to ruin it - do the tour and find out!!! Our last stop was an awesome waterfall and pool again all to ourselves. We have done lots of tours on our holiday but this one is a private off the beaten path with honestly no other tourists to ruin a gorgeous photo moment!! You have to do it!! Jay and Jenny were so helpful in all parts of organising of this tour.

We had an absolutely incredible day with Jay! From start to finish, it was a full day packed with adventure, breathtaking scenery, and unforgettable experiences. We explored a hidden sea cave, visited the beautiful Rochester Falls, hiked through stunning coastal trails to secluded rock pools, swam at a secret beach, and finished the day with a delicious local lunch. We tried the chicken fried noodles, and they were absolutely delicious! What really made this tour stand out was Jay. We were travelling with our 4-year-old son, and Jay went above and beyond to make sure our family could safely enjoy every part of the adventure. I cannot recommend this epic tour highly enough! It was easily one of (if not the best) the standout moments of our honeymoon. Our guide, Jay, was fantastic, taking us to hidden parts of the island we would have completely missed otherwise and helping us capture incredible photos that we can't wait to print. A quick note for anyone considering this: the tour can be slightly challenging in places, especially if you aren't the most adventurous. As someone who loves a gentle hike back home in South Wales but is wary of heights and rough terrain, I was initially a bit cautious. However, I needn’t have worried. Jay was phenomenal at providing the perfect balance of challenge and support. Whenever the landscape got tricky, he took our bags, slowed the pace, and carefully guided our steps. He seamlessly adapted the day to our skill level, the weather, and the sunrise, giving me the confidence to push through and experience moments I would have otherwise missed. The logistics and communication from both Jenny and Jay were also the best I’ve ever experienced. When bad weather forced us to reschedule, they were incredibly accommodating. They helped us find a new date and even updated our pickup point, as we had moved to a hotel in the north of the island by the time the weather cleared. I really appreciated their thoughtful touches, from double-checking our footwear and advising us on what to pack, to Jay taking the time to seamlessly handle my dietary preferences at our lunch stop. Overall, this is a brilliantly organized experience. It is challenging enough that you finish the day feeling incredibly proud of your achievements, having seen some truly magical parts of Mauritius, but so well run that you never feel unsupported or overwhelmed.

The tour felt more like an experience of exploring the island with a friend rather than a typical tourist tour. Everything was very relaxed, with no strict schedules, just enjoying the places at your own pace. Jenny went above and beyond to provide a great and personalized tour. She even stopped at KFC so I wouldn’t leave Mauritius without trying it! That was amazing. You can really feel the passion they have for what they do in the way they treat their clients and showcase the island while being mindful of the environment. It’s hard to find agencies that align with these values, and this one definitely does, which makes the experience even better. Without a doubt, the tour was one of the highlights of my trip and made a real difference. It’s a shame I didn’t find this agency sooner. I would have gone on all their tours. The wild south tour was a great day out and we made some great memories together. The cave was exciting and the coastal walk to the rock pool was beautiful. There’s a reason Jenny has so many outstanding reviews everywhere you see Mauritius Adventours – she is just that good! I recently hosted a woman’s retreat in Mauritius, and wanted to do something special for my foreign visitors before we officially kicked our program off. The Wild South tour took me off the beaten path to a secret beach, hidden waterfalls, and a stunning rock pool where I could swim and relax away from the crowds. If you’re looking for a fun day out that doesn’t just feel like another a busy tourist attraction I can’t recommend the wild south tour highly enough! The deserted beaches and secret waterfalls are just the most beautiful backdrop for photos Mauritius Adventours double up as professional photographers too! Our girls loved dressing up as pirates and there was even costumes for us parents too! what a fun way to capture a family photo. 10 out of 10 from us!

Our guides Jenny and Jay really did everything to make us have the best experience, they even made an extra stop on the way back they knew I wanted to see just to be nice! The places we visited was stunning, really something special and unforgettable. I can’t recommend this enough! I did a lot of research before we went on our honeymoon to Mauritius and I am so glad we chose this tour!

The best aspect was their attention to detail and focus on safety. We postponed the tour to a different day because the weather wasn’t perfect on Jennys advice. Our guide Jay was attentive and thoughtful. We really liked the safety aspect as this was an adventure trip and he kept an eye on everything. We got an amazing family experience with some breathtaking views of the South Island and lifelong memories in the photos that we got Jay to take. Wild South Mauritius Adventour: Caves, Waterfalls and A Rock Pool Souillac Epic Mountain 1031258682 Hello everyone, We just came back from a fantastic holiday trip to Mauritius. We stayed in Flic en Flac and rented a car to move around the island. We were able to visit most of the tourist locations and beaches on our own, it's very convenient and gave us a lot of freedom to decide what to do depending on the changing weather. Turned out to be the best decision. On top of that, we wanted a taste of adventure and booked several tours with Mauritius Adventours. We experienced the 5 islands, discovered the wild south and a truly special hike to the "Epic Mountain". Each activity was amazing, we can't thank Jenny, Jay and Nitish enough for their outstanding organization. They were caring about everything, adapting the tours when needed depending on the environment and weather. During the most technical challenges, they supervised everything smoothly, giving us enough safety and trust to enjoy the experience. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderfull day with Jenny as our guide. Visiting the secret beach, jumping at a waterfall and swimming in the rockpool. We wouldn’t have found theese natural, hidden gems on our one, which makes it all the more memorable.

Incredible Experience with Mauritius Adventours – Wild South Tour Our day on the Wild South Tour with Mauritius Adventours was simply amazing! Every stop felt like discovering a hidden gem. We began at a secret, secluded beach that looked straight out of a postcard — peaceful, pristine, and completely unspoiled. Then we enjoyed a delicious lunch before heading to the most magical rock pools, where we could swim and cool off in crystal-clear water. The adventure continued with visits to two breathtaking waterfalls, each one offering a unique and beautiful view of Mauritius’ wild south. Spending the day with our guide Jay was such a pleasure — he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. We’d absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the untouched beauty of Mauritius in the most memorable way possible.

We did a very funny and exciting Tour with Mauritius Adventours this week. Our Guides Nitish and Jenny did such a great Job and we will remember forever about this experience!! We first went to a waterfall in the middle of nowhere and could go for swimming in there. The next stop was a secret beach, completely alone for us and we could enjoy a Lot of big waves and white Sand. Last Stop was the exciting hike at the coast to the rock pool, there we could feed little fishes and enjoy the water. Every Stop of the Journey was a little piece of Paradise - PS fresh sugar canes are delicious!

From start to finish our adventure with Mauritius Adventours has been a 10/10 experience, Jenny replied to our messages so fast and gave us very adequate information before going on our hike. Luckily we had amazing weather and were able to see so much and have a lovely lunch at a local food spot. My favourite part of the hike was the rock pool with all of the fish that we got a chance to feed with a beautiful view, my boyfriends was the waterfalls and the hiking in general but more specifically jumping into the crystal clear waters of a secret waterfall! It was a perfect balance of walking, exploring, adventure and some historic and factual information from our guide Jay from London. Jay was the best guide we have ever had!! He was very knowledgeable about the island and the route we took which really made us feel at ease, not to mention his photo taking skills we have great photos of memory’s we will cherish for a lifetime.
