Must visit for fun activities!! Vanisha here was very sweet to accompany us throughout all the activies and helped us to take lot of pictures!!
Amazing experience and melina was so kind and helpful.Highly recommended place
Was very fun Something very different for friends and family
Jenita was our guide during our visit and she was super helpful with everything. This experience is a must in Mauritius, so much fun. We enjoyed every minute. Thanks for all, this is definitely recommended to families.
Very good experience, the kids loved it ! Spécial thanks to Melina who guided us through the outside spots
Great fun for the whole family. Very friendly and helpful staff that made the experience even better. Thank you!
I spent an amazing day with my family at Curious corner Chamarel and it was excellent! Special shoutout to Gulshan, Sharone, and Trilesh for their warm welcome and great service. And a big thank you to Mrs Saloni from the kitchen everything was delicious and she was so friendly. The whole team made us feel like home. Definitely coming back soon 🙂😍 Service + food + vibe = 10/10 Activities 10/10 👌🏼 Highly recommend!
"We had an absolute blast at Curious Corner of Chamarel, and Varshi made our visit truly unforgettable! She was incredibly welcoming, and helpful throughout the entire tour. On top of being a fantastic guide, Varshi helped us capture so many amazing pictures that we'll cherish forever. Her energy and hospitality made all the difference. Thank you, Varshi, for making our trip so special!"
Wonderful experience, had done a big effort compare to old one. Innovation in some aspects and appreciate the teams. Guide was alway present and are very helpful. Highly recommended
Our family enjoyed Curious Mauritius! The interactive puzzles were fun for our children aged 9 and 11. The adults had fun, too 😊 The mystery library and the maze of mirrors were quirky and delightful. We almost got lost. The cafe has delicious food- we recommend the fish curry with mango. Definitely recommend!
Great little attraction with a unique and interactive experience. Well presented, fun to explore, and worth a visit if you’re looking for something a bit different in Mauritius.
Worth the price and great experience
Great experienced.. fun for the family and you learn something too
We really enjoyed going back to Curious Mauritius. It has become a favourite regular stop when we visit the island. Love the new attraction of the upside down house in garden setting. Have fun with the new illusion attractions of the Dodo, surfer and big game fishing! Great for all ages, couples and families. Never a dull moment!
Ver nice place for family and friends with a lot of funny pictures and moments
Had a wonderful experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I Highly recommend.
Dishan was the most friendliedt host. He took such nice photo’s for us. We definitely recommend this place. We loved it!
Interesting, fun place to visit. However, with no guide despite being told one will be provided, it was very disappointing. There's no assistance to show people how to make the most of the props there to get fun pictures. When we asked a young lady that was around, she seemed highly frustrated and irritable that we were asking her how things work. Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff, not all, but most. We missed so many photos ops because there was no one to show us how they work.
We stopped here last minute on our way out of the Seven Coloured Earths as the “upside down house” caught our attention. We had no idea what to expect and was so very pleasantly surprised! This place was so much fun, interactive and memorable. We not only walked out with fantastic memories but the staff took plenty of hilarious photos for us to share the memories!
We went because we couldn't get a tour at the coffee plantation opposite, and I'm so glad we came here instead. It's really fun with so many opportunities for pictures, and it's bigger than you think. So many little details have been thought about. The staff are incredibly kind and funny, and they made the experience for us.
One of THE PLACES TO VISIT. We had so much fun, the staff explains so well how to get the best photos. Plus it's hilarous to visit and enjoy something else besides Waterfalls, not the usual Tourist place. We loved it.
We visited this venue, in September 2025. Being born in mauritius, i never knew of this place. Once, I googled places to visit, this place popped up. The staff members were quite helpful, with taking photos of us. The venue was clean and reasonably priced. However, it was a quick visit, to go around. One upside down house was not open for visiting. Apart from that it was a pleasant visit. I would recommend a visit there. One recommendation though, please include more attraction as It ll be good for families.
Great museum of interactive fun and illusion. Excellent staff to assist in the enjoyment to ensure you get full potential from the experience and great photos too. Enjoyable for all the family from young to old. Highly recommend
We went back a second time during our vacation. It was just as fun. Excited to see some new curiosities coming soon! The staff were really friendly. Hope to see a place where one can buy something to drink as there isnt anything - the shop doesnt have much.
Brilliant, nice and fun a refreshing change to the beautiful places, challenging and the staff were friendly and funny.
Great way to spend 1-2 hours whether you are young family or like us just immature adults 🤣. Lots of interactive things to do and the photo opportunities outside are hilarious. Big thanks to Jocelyn for helping taking pics. All this only after you work out how to escape the study room though. Not expensive either.
This extraordinary museum is definitely worth a visit. You are immersed in a world of curiosities and bizarre things, where nothing is as it seems. Charming guides took us through the various exhibition rooms, explaining and taking great photos. We had a fantastic time and a lot of fun - thanks to Aadilah and Jocelyn, our guides, you are patient, funny and great! We will definitely be back!
We had a fantastic time at Curious Corner! I visited with my husband and son, and we were warmly welcomed by a lovely staff member named Aadila. Her friendly smile and hospitality set the tone for an enjoyable experience. The place itself is full of fun and intriguing activities that kept all of us entertained. Highly recommend for a family day out!
Found this completely by accident. We had a BLAST. The staff are super friendly and put a lot in to making it a great experience. My husband and I had such a laugh looking around and taking the pictures. Thank you so so much for the afternoon :)
Amazing place to vist and amazing staff especially adelha she was so friendly sweet attitude and help us to enjoy the place
Fantastic little gem. We were not planning on coming here as our guide hadn't informed us about this place. But when we drove past and saw the gardens we had to pop in and see what it was all about. We spent well over 2 hours here and our whole family, from ages 12 to 79, enjoyed it. Sharon was great! Definitely worth a visit if you're tired of looking at beaches and trees or if you're simply curious.
Great fun place to visit in Chamarel. Reasonable entrance fee and suitable for all ages. Can take some fun photos. Staff really helpful. Stunning location opposite Seven Coloured Earth.
The owners have clearly financial issues. A few intriguing exhibits in an old-fashioned place with out-of-date wooden installations: just like a time machine, It would have been perfect in the 1960's
Superb place for capturing pics . Nice illusion have been made . We really enjoyed our stay in Mauritius. All places has its own beauty .
Are you adults… but still big kids? Do you like to laugh and be surprised? When the unreal exceeds the real, when the optical illusion shrinks you in the blink of an eye... then don't miss Curious Corner. Simply magical (even more so with the good advice of Jocelyn 👍).
We are two adults who laughed hard and were totally entertained. Brilliant! Was great! Never experienced something like this. Staff were a perfect addition to the whole experience. Thank you!
Was definitely one of the best experiences in mauritius and something fun for the whole family. Children will like the fun things to do and so the rest of the family aswell. Staff was friendly and welcoming and very clean. Well worth the trip and a must do.
Wonderful place to visit with kids of all ages Inside and outside activities Staff are so friendly , My daughter is still talking about our visit several weeks on , Allow about 3 hours i would say
Great opportunity to take cool pictures with family and friends. The staff is also keen to assist and very friendly.
A good fun day to spend with kids. Lots of illusion pics can be taken. There's maze, and few more fun activities for kids.
My family and I had a fantastic and enjoyable time at Curious Corner. Among the staff, Vanisha and Rodney truly excelled as exceptional guides. Rodney's explanations were both entertaining and thorough, setting him apart from the others. I strongly recommend a visit to this attraction in Mauritius. The admission fee of Rs. 427.50 per adult is well worth it.
We had great fun trying out all the interactive items and got some great photos. Our only problem was that even though we asked at the ticket booth if it was suitable for a wheelchair user, it was not. There are lots of stairs and rough stone pathways. Although the staff tried their best to help, there were a few times that I had to get up and manage the stairs. If you are unable to walk, this is not a suitable activity for you.
We stumbled across this as we were leaving the Chamarel geo park, as it’s right across the road. It’s a cute little place where the staff are lovely, and you can take some great photos and have some fun. Reasonably priced and a nice little stop to spend an hour or two
This place is so much fun & not just for kids! Staff are super friendly and show you what's what. It's just a shame the place isn't bigger as it has so much scope to do more. However, saying that it really was 60-90 mins of fun. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Absolutely amazing. In December i visited a similar place in NZ and was hugely disappointed. Curious Corner is worth a visit.
Had a memorable day trip out. Very entertaining experience at curious corner. Interesting concept, well worth visiting
.we didn’t know what to expect but (as an older couple) we had a great time. It’s mostly logical if you think about it but go along with the fun and enjoy. Take your mobile phone as photo mementos are a must. All the staff are friendly and helpful, taking photos and showing you how to make the most of the experience. Very competitively priced and highly recommended for all ages
We had been hiking with teenagers, which is not easy as they are always so blasé ;-D Luckily Curious Corner was there to end the day and our two teenagers found their energy back, experiencing the mind-blowing optical illusions of that very 'curious' place. Humour, creativity and intellectual stimulation is everywhere! We spent a hilarious time at Curious Corner.
