Legend Hill Residences & Spa

The Legend Hill booking & reception team really made a positive difference to our first impressions of Mauritius, as we were stressed last minute bookers due to a late cancellation by another property. Sunny helped facilitate everything before we arrived late at night, Avi saw to it that a non-operating safe was fixed promptly, and reception coordinated dinner reservations for us. I appreciated that the Legend team used WhatsApp to communicate with us during our stay, meaning it was easy for us to stay in touch. Owen at the pool bar was also very hospitality-forward and made the brief time we were able to spend at the pool memorable. Also very appreciated were the multiple communicated warnings/reminders that Google Maps does not yet have the correct directions, and that you need to get to the (correct set of) Plantation Marguery gates and follow the signboards. It is a pity that the bottom part of the road leading to the hotel is still in such bad shape, but hopefully it will be rectified by the responsible parties in the near future. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. We liked that we were able to ask for a different pillow, and that the room had a power point near the bed. While it is not beach access (being on a hill), the views from the ocean-facing rooms are fantastic and the balconies are large and comfortable to have a morning coffee from (as long as it is not raining). There were some non-cleanliness related inconsistencies with housekeeping that can be improved to keep the positive experience, eg to have complete refills of the tea&coffee kit + our room was missing a few small things (room bin, fan remote and the sheet change 'card'), but overall we enjoyed our stay at Legend Hill.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visited Legend Hill Residences & Spa for food and drinks and had a fantastic experience. The setting is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views that make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the evening. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and made with high-quality ingredients. The cocktails were excellent, and the service was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. Whether you're stopping by for sunset drinks, dinner, or a special occasion, I'd highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back!

If you are looking for a luxurious morning getaway,. Legend Hill is the place to go. We booked a breakfast package at Legend Hill and had a wonderful morning. The views were incredible, but what really made the experience seamless was the head receptionist (Mr Avi). He was so welcoming. He greeted us warmly, and ensured we knew exactly where to go to enjoy our morning. Even for just a breakfast visit, the hospitality was flawless. A big thank you to the head receptionist and all the staffs for making our morning special

We visited Legend Hill for drinks and dinner at 1812 and it definitely lived up to expectations. Beautiful setting overlooking Tamarin and the sea, perfect to watch the sun go down. We enjoyed some great cocktails before heading downstairs for dinner. The team at 1812 were very lovely, passionate and attentive. The food was prepared with pride for local ingredients and was a nice mix of flavours across the courses. Wine pairing from their sommelier was equally thoughtful. Thank you for a lovely evening.
