The business center of Lausanne as well as many shops and the public transportation network are just outside the hotel. A free public transportation card (bus, metro) will be provided to all our guests upon arrival.

Great hotel, beautiful rooms, excellent location. Close to train station and trams. However, suggest a taxi from train station due to hills. Great restaurant, excellent food and great service. Only knocks were a couple of small things. In the small bar, across the lobby from the main restaurant and main bar, the bartender was very stressed. Service was poor, had to leave an outside table and wait, for a while, at the bar to order a glass of wine. He actually complained to me about tourists. Our mini-frig/mini-bar collected water and was not fixed or changed out despite two complaints. We had to remove the contents and towel it out twice.
This is my favorite hotel in Switzerland so far. I have been here twice and both with the amazing view of the lake.
There is a good variety of breakfast which makes it easier to start your day whether you're planning to go for a hike nearby or just visiting the city.
The service of this hotel is at its best. I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in lausanne 😊
Mixed review: the lake view room was clean and the view and location are great. The service at the desk and from the housekeeping staff was excellent. **However, the pillows are the WORST! I would have been better with no pillow; getting more of these flat pillows did nothing to help. **Save your money and skip the breakfast. It has little choice, awful machine espresso, the fruit looked rolled down a hill, the bacon was flaccid, and the tables and floor were dirty and no one cleaned the eggs under our table even after we asked to sit in a different (clean) area.
We never ask for our money back and we wound up doing so after this “breakfast” because the quality doesn’t match the price in any way. The second request got us a refund of the 27 CHF/per person.
Overall, this hotel could use a refresh, ;some chairs in the rooms have torn fabric, for example).
We would stay at this hotel again but we would NEVER do breakfast there again. Instead, Buongusto Italiano nearby is where to have a good coffee and a nice breakfast.
5 star hotel at 4 star price. Great location, superb rooms great service and wonderful views.

In my opinion 5 stars all round
The hotel is in a convenient location if you want to stay close to the city center, making it easy to get around and explore. However, the breakfast was quite disappointing. It was very limited, lacked quality, and unfortunately did not seem very clean. This ended up causing me stomach problems, which affected and partly ruined my vacation.
In addition, I was concerned to learn that items were stolen from inside the rooms, which is something that should never happen. Overall, while the location is good, my experience was negatively impacted, and I would be cautious about staying here.
