Excellent way to see Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon however I would pack lunch rather than purchase the meals. Breakfast was a Subway sandwich and chips lunch was to be provided at the Grand Canyon. The instructions were confusing so my family did not receive lunch. The place where we were to order lunch was confusing so we went to the wrong place and was not able to order. When we got back to the arrival/departure point (the cafeteria where we thought we were to order lunch) we were informed that we needed to order at the 1st or 2nd stop on the tour. By this time we were back at the bus, prepared for departure so did not go back up the Canyon just to get lunch. Overall, a great trip but I would not recommend including the meal package.

Mike our tour guide was informative and fun. Such a fantastic tour and I would highly recommend it. We managed to do the Zip wire but it meant not leaving time for Eagle point and Guano point. We were told that doing the Zip wire wouldn’t leave much time but we went against the good advice of Mike. However what an experience. We did manage the sky walk and that was incredible. My only flaw would be it would have been nice to have had 4 hours at the canyon to get everything done.
The Driver Chris was amazing and timely. I was picked up at exactly 6:30am. The coach was somewhat comfortable but old. Chris gave us some history of the ride to the Hoover Dam. One the way, for the five people who opted for breakfast, we stopped at a gas station where there was a Subway and a choice of 4 breakfast sandwiches. They were to go and eaten back on the coach as Chris wanted to get us to the first destination, the Hoover Dam. The Coach was parked in a large parking lot at the Hoover Dam. We were allowed 30 minutes to walk up to the Tillman Bridge. Cross the bridge which is quite long and return to the van to proceed to the West Ridge of the Grand Canyon. Once there we were allowed 4 hours to go to Eagle Point and Guano. (There was a third destination called “The Ranch” but were advised not to go there as the buses to that point were very sporadic.). There was a bus that took us to both destinations and was very timely. Lunch at either point was very cafeteria style. Guano was outside only and had two selections on their menu. The cafeteria at the Eagle location had an amazing view but window seating (to see the view) was very limited and you were not allowed to wait for a window seat. Let me say, before I summarize, that the driver, Chris, was very customer friendly with some fun stories. The coach felt crowded and old, I felt like I was provided a ride to two locations but there was no Tour Guide. Chris was the driver, the rest of the tour was an on your own experience. For $300.00 dollars, which is what I paid, I thought it was a lot of money for very little. I received a ride to and from and a fast food breakfast and lunch. I wish I could be more positive but the tour was below average for the price.
Grand Canyon and Hoover dam tour. An amazing experience from our trip to Vegas, would defined recommend. The guide Tahke was very informative and entertaining, and made the trip special.
Second tour with Prince this week for my wife and I. The sites were of course phenomenal; however, Prince made both tours absolutely outstanding by providing related facts and information in a professional well spoken manner. This guy is a PRO! Ask for Prince when scheduling tours in and around Las Vegas.
There was a lot to experience but very little time. Booked the experience with breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was grab and go which really was okay except the fact there were no cup holders therefore very awkward. For the Hoover dam bridge overlook only enough time to walk to the middle and take a picture and walk back. The Grand Canyon had lots to experience but because our tour guide expected us back to the bus an hour earlier than anticipated it was so rushed it made the trip stressful. At the time of booking the helicopter experience was also recommended, but the time constraints gave us only an hour to make it to the other Grand Canyon stops nor enough time for lunch. Also the ticket that was to be scanned in order to enter the skywalk didn’t work so that was a hassle. In all fairness the trip would be a 5 star if return time would have been an hour later.
Wayne was an excellent tour guide and driver. He kept us informed and very knowledgeable in history of our tour. Very friendly and caring to our needs especially water needs.
Grand Vegas Tours. Do NOT use. I paid for a small group tour of the West Rim Grand Canyon one day. Just what I wanted to see. I got my electronic ticket Sunday morning for my 6 am pickup at my hotel. About 11 am got emails and phone messages my trip was cancelled not enough people signed up. They were putting me on a double decker bus with so many people. Oh no you are not. They did cancel and refund my money. They did not offer another option. So one thing on my bucket list will not happen. They new days before and waiting for the last minute is not a very reputable company. Buyer be ware
Prince, the tour guide was knowledgeable, professional, timely, safe, and overall made the experience fun and positive.
We had an amazing day out Prince was our driver and guide. He was very professional, knowledgeable and funny. The coach was modern and clean. We stopped to purchase drinks, snacks and to use the rest rooms on the way there and on our return. We would highly recommend this trip and the Grand Canyon didn’t disappoint.
Duane was a great driver/tour guide and was happy to give a little bit extra. The scenery was amazing although it's sad to see the Colorado River so low and the Hoover Dam operating way below capacity.
Our tour guide Michael was amazing! Very impressed with him. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative and very funny! The tour bus was clean and had no mechanical issues. I would definitely recommend this tour and go again!
Anthony was an amazing tour guide. He kept us informed along the whole way. Jose kept our bus moving safely and swiftly. We were first the first bus at the Skywalk and we had no lines!!!
The tour was good overall. The meal was ok, the first stop had better choices. Although, I fell pretty hard, I didn't see a medical professional.
Being rushed to eat breakfast on our cramped small group tour bus- Being rushed by the tour guide every stop! Being told to meet at 1:30pm and the tour guide shows up at 2:15 pm! Small group meant we should not have to have two people to a seat meant for one!
The Grand Canyon is truly awesome and we were so glad that we visited, but some things on the trip were just not great. We were picked up early and were taken to a Mini Market to get breakfast which was a choice of sandwiches, all containing cheese (did have the option of no cheese), we had 2 bites and it went in the bin. The journey was good and Tony the driver kept us entertained on the way with various stories and bits of history, unfortunately he was quite difficult to understand and we were totally unsure what we were doing once we got to the Grand Canyon. A pick up time was agreed and off we went. We queued for at least 1.5 hours for the Skywalk which when we got there the views were fantastic, but it was spoilt by photographers only letting one couple/group on at a time which again slowed us down, so much so that we were unable to go to the final part at Guango point, we had to go straight back to the start to pick up our bus, we could have really used another hour. We did stop for the included lunch which was actually very good, lots of choice but could not linger over it as no time! We returned to Las Vegas via the Hoover Dam, which again was worth seeing. All in all, slightly disappointing, more time was needed..
I give this tour a 5 rating it was awesome. Derek was such a wonderful and knowledgeable guide! I will recommend Grayline for future tours.
Our driver Taka was amazing he was funny put me at ease straight away and I felt really safe on the bus. His knowledge of the area was excellent. Other than that the grand cannon was so was the hoover dam.
A wonderful day out expertly narrated by our driver. He explained everything as we drove along there and back. The grand canyon was awesome and the sky bridge a unmissable adventure. Seeing the hoover dam was awesome inspiring. All in all a great day out.
Amazing views I took plenty of pictures very scenic natural beauty. The weather was beautiful and picturesque sunny clear blue skies warm cool breeze.
A nightmare. Argumentative driver, refused allowing us breakfast. Had to prove my paid reservation said breakfast by then break was over never got two. Then 'luxury limo VAN was a first visit and air quit working on trip back. Took over 3.5 hors due to driver driving under speed limit. Would not recommend. NOT ANYTHING THAT WAS PROMISED. Driver pulled over 3 times to let all other traffic to pass.
Our tour guide Taka was great! Fantastic experience! The Grand Canyon should be on everyone’s bucket list.
04/29/24 Had full day of site's and facts really enjoyed every minute of it Bus driver tony made the trip that but more special with his vegas facts and fun commentary 👌 Thanks tony Your co pilot
Walking skywalk. The tour guy failed to tell us what was at each stop and how to allot our tickets time. Sadly, we did not get to see Guano Point.
So amazing. Driver was very informative and entertaining. Highly recommend going to see this wonder of the world with Grayline.
Dewayne the driver/ guide was very hilarious The scene and the commentary was very funny and a story was told from the beginning to the end
The only reason for a 4 is because of the breakfast stop. Our tour guide was excellent and the entire trip wonderful. It was nice to be in a smaller van rather than a huge bus. So worth the money for us. Our guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out many sights along the way. It was extremely windy out so it was taking a bit longer than normal to get places. We got on the van at 6:30am with breakfast anticipated fairly quickly. Thought it would be a box breakfast of some sort on the bus. Like a muffin or bagel and an apple with a bottle of water. This is not the tour guides fault at all but Gray line needs to rethink this portion of the trip We didn’t stop until a little after 10 am at a gas station with a Subway in it. We could order from the breakfast menu. The problem was by the time 16 people order and sit down we had 10 minutes to eat and we weren’t even at the end of the line. It was a very rushed experience and so unnecessary if thought out better. Grayline has some sort of deal with the subway which is fine but finding something a bit closer to town would be better because by 10 we were beyond hungry and on the verge of hangry. But like I say it was an excellent tour and very friendly and knowledgeable guide.
Obviously the views were amazing and our driver Freddy was amazing. However, we paid $76 extra per person for the Luxury van instead of the bus. The van microphone didn’t work most of the time. The door was cracked and glued back together. The chairs were peeling. Paying extra for luxury was a waste of money.
Our trip to the Grand Canyon West Rim was well worth the money. Our driver/tour guide, Lafayette, was fun, informative, efficient and friendly. The pick up was 30 min late but we still had our full 4 hours at the Canyon. The tour included lunch and water. We tried the Hualapai Fry Bread "taco" and Hualapai stew. Both were large portions and delicious. The Hualapai shuttles were well organized and the wait was between 5-15 min depending on which area you were travelling to. Our only disappointment was to find out that other groups had been picked up next door to our hotel, whereas we were assigned a pick up at a hotel further away. In order to arrive at our pick up location on time, we hired an Uber which cost us $30 US. Lafayette accommodated us when we arrived back by allowing us to depart at our hotel, which was much appreciated.
Freddie your tour guide is the best! Only drawback is your not going to the National park part however you will get a full experience.
Our driver Lafayette was awesome and informative and very friendly. The grand canyon what can you say in a natural wonder.
Really enjoyed this tour, the driver Freddie was a seasoned vet of this tour. I also like it was a small group so less waiting on people.
Everything was awesome! The tour guide Freddie with Gray Line Las Vegas was great. Our luxury tour van was clean and comfortable. He was knowledgeable and courteous, giving us an insightful and informative overview of the Grand Canyon and sites along the way. I highly recommend the small luxury tour to the Grand Canyon with Freddie if you can request him!
This was a great way to see the Grand Canyon, and not have to drive. Easy to book and the driver was knowledgeable about things along the way
Mr. Freddy was unbelievable and made our trip to the canyon so amazing! He was funny, engaging, interactive with everyone on the bus and ensured everyone was well hydrated. I would 10/10 recommend that anyone who wants to do the west tour do so with gray line and Mr. Freddy in particular. Thank you so muxh, gray line!
Micheal was amazing! Micheal made this trip really fun and knowledgeable about the whole trip! The whole trip its self was smooth 10/10!!
Very enjoyable trip. Freddy the driver/guide was fantastic. Comfortable ride there and wonderful views.
The driver was great pointing out sites and providing history throughout the tour. There was a stop for snacks and bathroom break since the bus didn’t have a bathroom. The sites were really nice. Lunch was great if you purchase that option. It was well worth the money to sit back and be guided to the Canyon.
Great Day out to West Rim Grand Canyon. Danny Ho was a fantastic driver, Very informative for the whole trip. Looked after us all and gave very clear instructions re timings. Shared lots of information on route which made it a very enjoyable experience. Totally recommend this trip and hopefully you will be lucky enough to get Danny Ho Ho Ho as your driver.
The Guano Point and Eagle Point Skywalk was GREAT! The luxury limo experience with tour guide and breakfast was not up to par. The subway breakfast stop staff was not friendly or professional. The limo ride was not up to par as there was no TV or music on. It was difficult to understand our tour guide/driver due to his accent and mumbling. There were teenagers on limo ride that were very rude, unsanitary and their parents could not control them.
The West Rim of the Grand Canyon and the Sky Walk were spectacular. The Hoover Dam was an engineering marvel. Wayne our driver was great!
It was a good experience as this location is closer to Las Vegas. We didn't have much time to spare so we chose this tour. Nice tour, beautiful landscape and pictures.
Excellent tour. Freddy was an awesome tour guide. He was very informative and really knew what he was doing. The bus was new and clean. Everything at the Grand Canyon location was smooth as well (although that part is run by the Indian reservation not Gray Line). I would recommend this tour to anyone. The only reason I deducted a star was that when I bought it I was told it stopped at the Hoover dam on the way to the Grand Canyon. It does not. It stops at an overlook where you can see the dam. It does not stop at the actual dam itself. I blame this on the salesperson who sold me the tour trying to make a sale. Not the driver.
Fantastic trip. Daryl was very knowledgeable and friendly and a great guide. Highly recommend this trip
Our bus driver/tour guide, Freddy Lee, was awesome!!! He is so funny 😂. The sights and scenery were excellent. My husband and I had a great day!
This was a great tour! The only slight negative was trying to find our pickup area at Planet Hollywood (if you go, follow signs to Hotel Lobby, go down through the lobby and out to the ride share area, turn left and follow signs to bus staging). Once we found the bus our driver Freddy met us with bottled water and a sign up form for breakfast. Freddy was awesome, engaging and funny throughout the trip. He was also super helpful with his tips for how to avoid the long lines at Skywalk and the restaurant. These tips ended up saving us a lot of time and made our trip more enjoyable. The skywalk was awesome and the restaurant at Eagle Ridge had amazing views. The food was average, except the fries were very good. The loop with original tribal houses and teepees was interesting. The views at Guana Point were amazing. The stop at Hoover Dam was a cool quick stop. I would highly recommend this trip and if you can request a driver, ask for Freddy!
Great day with Gray line tours, Michael, excellent with the history about our stops, hints to get the most out of our visit
Excellent tour. It was a full day, with an early start from Las Vegas - but our tour guide Danny (Ho Ho Ho) made the time fly with his brilliant personality and his interesting commentary. The Grand Canyon was just breathtaking - an amazing sight with ample time to explore at all three stops within the park. A definite bucket list item ticked off. The short picture stop at the Hoover Dam was amazing - worth the 69 steps in 100F heat to see it from a Superman POV 🙂 A well organised tour in a small, but comfortable, air conditioned tour bus, a simple but very tasty lunch included, and ample comfort stops - highly recommended.
Eric did an excellent job of showing us the sites along the way and talking about Nevada. He was a party of our group, he hung out with us at lunch time and kept us on schedule.
Our guide/driver (AJ Furilo) for the day clearly knew what he was talking about and gave good advice how to manage the time at the Grand Canyon. A well-judged break for breakfast on the way and we arrived before the big crowds. The Grand Canyon itself was awesome. The Skywalk element was worth the visit but no cameras allowed! Hoover Dam also worth the visit.
