The Ultimate Vegas Adventure-hoover Dam Experience

Booked and paid for this tour in advance and was looking forward to the experience. Buck called us prior to the tour advising other tour groups had requested to do the additional tour which would be an extra $50, which we decided to do, but on checking with other members on the tour, they confirmed they had been advised the same, SCAM springs to mind. We were then advised the night before that the starting point had changed, so we edited our taxi booking. As we started the tour we had to stop and fill up with fuel, where I mentioned to Buck that I had engine warning lights showing on the dash board and the vehicle was in limp mode, Buck advised not to worry. these were faulty sensors and to carry on. When pulling away at every traffic light the vehicle went in to limp mode holding everyone up, forcing Buck to have to pull in further up the road. Once the vehicle cooled down the vehicle clicked out of limp mode and was fine to drive until I came to the next stop sign. Buck tested the vehicle later in the tour but said it was the driver and not the vehicle. To add to the driving experience the vehicle had no indicators or flashers, but according to Buck this was fine, but on speaking to a police officer after the tour, he said had I got pulled over I would have been prosecuted. At the end of the tour I approached Buck for some compensation for lack of care and consideration, but he refused and said he wasn’t bothered if I wrote a poor experience, he would just say he tested the vehicle and it was fine, it was the drivers fault.

The Paris Hotel in Vegas is a great location but not a 3-4 star hotel as stated. At best a 2 star, no microwave or coffee maker only 4 paper cups per room per day allowed! Not even a paper and pen for notes, no Vanity kit , or any other expected complementary item, and the concierge desk is not available till 10 am and also takes care of bill disputes???? The lighting in the room is cave like, especially in the bathroom,. Sunlight by the windows is the best source of lighting and the dirty window decrease concern of dressing in front of it. This gives you an idea of the cuts, and “buckle and dime” experience, motel 6 has better room amenities. The pool although small is nice however one can not bring in anything not even water. This must be purchased at the pool 6-8 dollars a bottle. I was cautioned to take only 1 towel when going into the area. A very stingy experience.

This trip was beautiful, great price and scenery. Buck was an absolutely wonderful tour guide. Gave us water when needed, gave us enough time to explore, very kind and took us to some of the best spots! I would rate my experience a 10/10!

Great time!! Took a trike out to the Hoover Dam with my wife on the back and we both really enjoyed it. Well organised, brilliant scenery and the sun was shining!! When we come back to Vegas we will be booking another trike for sure!!

Buck was very informative as our tour guide to Hoover dam Slingshot was recommended as safer then trike so we spent the extra for that. We enjoyed the 9–12 trip but do not recommend getting Groupon for it. As it would not apply when registering for tour

We have a fantastic time we take the slingshot tour. The hoover am is beautiful and is amazing how the create the dam and the tour guide is very informative.

The tour was amazing, saw the sights of hoover dam and enjoyed riding the trike. The owners are very friendly and ensure you stay hydrated.

The tour was really fun and a cool way to visit the Hoover Dam in style. I do recommend to bring ice packs to keep your body cool, because the heat is no joke. Our tour Guide was very fun and attentive!

I had an incredible time on the Hoover Dam tour with Vegas Trikes. The staff was absolutely fantastic—friendly, professional, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The tour itself was well-organized and gave us plenty of time to take in the sights. Riding the trike was so much fun—comfortable, unique, and a great way to explore the area. The slingshots we rode were ok but having only 30 minutes to walk the dam and take pictures is just ridiculous

Great time. Fun in the sling shot riding around Red Rock. We went to the canyon instead of Hoover dam. The owner was very informative and knowledgeable.

What a fun experience experience that was! We had originally booked on the trike tour, but when we arrived we liked the look of the slingshot and upgraded to that tour instead. They were so fun to drive, and red rock canyon is stunning 🤩 Our husband and wife guides were adorable and made our tour an utter delight. Water and snacks are provided in abundance. Such a fun experience and beautiful scenery. We will book again when we visit next year. Thanks for a great experience 🙌

Was amazing lady who took us was very nice and helpful well worth it it was hot so make sure you take wot thay say as we did we drive the slingshot so good glad thay advice us to take it’s so easy to drive than the bikes

Excellent little experience in my opinion. Got to ride around in a cool little hot rod while taking in the sights and vistas just outside of Vegas and in the strip a little on the way back. Trikes are fun and nimble, turboed with plenty of pick up and go, so be careful on your throttle. Still a guided tour and rules are to stay behind the guide vehicle. Also don't be me and cook your arms. I came with a tshirt which is fine, but I should have put on sunscreen. If you want to mount a gopro the owner is flexible they don't mind. Just come prepared with really wide bar mounts and you should find a good spot. I had to mount mine to the mirror in a weird way but it worked out and got a cool video out of it. Also sir, thanks for the bbq trip afterwards, Man beef ribs were AMAZING and well required after 2 days of walking.

Arrived on time to locked doors. Guide, Buck showed up 15 min late. Interstate drive was longer than the 30 min H D free time and 5 minute Lake Mead overlook comments by guide. That was it. NO!

Leurs motos sont en mauvais état et tous les casques sont des xl. Depuis, on attend le remboursement de la différence de prix et on est en discussion avec Tripadvisor. We went on the scheduled date and time, there was no one there. We paid a taxi to get there and walked back. In the evening, the seller called us to offer us the next day's hike. He refused the Hoover hike and we had to take the Red Rock Canyon hike which is much cheaper. Their motorcycles are in poor condition and all the helmets are XL. Since then, we have been waiting for the price difference to be reimbursed and we are in discussions with Tripadvisor.

Me and my dad had a private tour to red rock canyon and to the hoover dam and it was incredible. We upgraded from a trike to a slingshot and it was the best decision we ever made So I highly recommend you do that, uncles you really want to ride a trike.

I technically bought the Trike Tour but since i was the only one for the tour, Buck was super gracious to give me an amazing discount to upgrade to a slingshot and go to the red rock canyon as well! Buck was very informative and super kind! definitely 10/10 recommend!! the views are amazing and the ride is thrilling!

We did the slingshot and it was great! Buck was a great tour guide who obviously has a passion for his job and a knowledge and love for Las Vegas and surrounding areas. It was a fun experience. I would definitely recommend!

Awesome trip. Great info from our guide. This was our first trip to Vegas and would love to try their other adventure next time. I wore a beanie style helmet, but would recommend a visor for the short sections of freeway driving!! These things GO!

We upgraded to the slingshot and had a GREAT TIME! Our guide was very informative, the 4 hrs was such fun as we went to Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon. It was a wonderful time and way to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary! Thanks again…

We had our own private tour since no one else booked. So glad they didn’t cancel. Our guide was very informative and new a lot about the area and Hoover Dam. We upgraded to the slingshot since the temperature was 36 degrees…Well worth it!

THE DRIVE IS AWESOME. Everyone followed the instructions. We weren't rushed or shorted time. Money worthy.

We had a great time on this tour! My husband loved driving the slingshot and the pics are so fun! Our favorite part was the mountain section by the dam. The roads were a bit slow/hot and could’ve been skipped- wish we’d seen strip instead. Rest stops were practical. Renala and Travis were experts at negotiating traffic and guiding the tour. Abundant cold water was provided. Suggestions: update apparel suggestions- wish we’d dressed a little lighter for warm weather. Glad we went in morning due to heat and packed plenty of sunscreen. Build helmet rental into price. Polish dam facts a bit more. Overall- would def recommend and do again!

From the beginning to end of the trip we had such a great time., no faults at all bikes were very easy to ride and very fast , buck had everything worked out for restroom stops etc, be prepared for folks to ask for photos there a real head turner 6 shiny trikes on the road , best of luck buck and thanks again for a great day out

This tour is great value for money your picked up and taken to the trikes where you recieve training and its very clear safety is really important which put my mind at ease as I was a little nervous Buck was a brilliant guide constantly stopping to check on everyone you get a lot of time on the trikes and stop to get some food so you can have lunch at the hoover Dam it's a great way to visit the Dam and saves you having to sit in a car/bus the whole journey on a hot day.

Excellent tour, it was the highlight of our holiday. Would recommend to everyone. A really unique experience plus the chance to ride across the Hoover Dam.

Excellent executed. Great tour guide. Strongly recommended. Trikes in good condition. Felt safe after short training. Confident that the company and guide are good people. We lost one trike for a short while, but nothing dramatically and the tour guide solved this very well. Found them after a short time. Just go for it. Great fun.

I cant believe how easy these were to drive! I was a little worried because Ive never even so much as been on a motorcycle before but they gave us wonderful instruction and practice runs to make sure we were all comfortable first. Then we headed out to Hoover Dam for an amazing tour led by Zion...this guy knows his stuff!! We had such an incredible time even with the cold weather it was still perfect! I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone! Seriously SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!! Everyone was friendly, professional and SAFE...definitely DO IT!!!

Wow!!! What an amazing day. There’s so much more to Vegas than the strip. I highly recommend this trike tour company. They’re so friendly and funny. I was a little intimated about the idea of a trike tour but I’m so glad I went on the Hoover dam tour. Once I saw the beautiful rewaco trikes in person I was totally at ease. The trikes were easy to handle. I’m mean easy!!! They were also very comfortable. We went in January. For those who don’t know it gets cold in Vegas in the winter. Marilyn from Vegas Trike Adventures provided clothing tips ahead of time. I’m so glad she did. I was perfectly warm. And loved every minute of the tour including meeting some new people from Texas. I can’t wait to go on the Valley of Fire or Red Rock tour next. Don’t delay. Book your tour today.

We’ve just returned from the Trike Tour to The Hoover Dam. We’ve been to Vegas several times and have done many of the attractions and excursions Vegas has to offer, this is without doubt the best. From the moment we were picked up on time to the moment we were dropped back, the whole experience was superb. We got to ride the trikes from just off the Vegas Strip all the way through Boulder out to the Dam and back. There were only 3 of us on this particular trip which may have proven an advantage as our tour guide Rick (who was excellent) managed to squeeze in some extra stops and on the return trip even diverted so we could ride down the The Strip. In total we were out for nearly 6 hours, which is excellent value for money in Vegas terms. We will be returning to Vegas in a few months and without doubt this will be the first thing we book again. With so much to do in Vegas it’s really saying something that this is the no.1 thing to do. Thanks Guys for an amazing day!

The trike tour is a great option to both have fun, see Hoover Dam and experience something unique you can't have elsewhere. The trikes are new, huge and powerful, though they're are pretty easy to drive. Entrance to the Hoover Dam on these machines is DRAMATIC. You'll get everyone stopping and taking pictures and videos of you driving this thing, like you're some kind of a celeb (we had 2 teenage kids as passengers - this part was the highlight for them, obviously). Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time at Vegas Trike Adventures. We did the Hoover Dam tour, and it was an amazing experience. I have never ridden a motorcycle, and driving these trikes were easy as driving a car. We were given a tutorial, and allowed to practice around for 10 to 15 minutes the office area before heading off. Buck and Rick then guided us caravan style through Las Vegas to the Hoover Dam. We always felt safe, and the sites were awesome. Buck and Rick are super friendly and helpful, dont hesitate to book with Vegas Trike Adventures. Thank you for a once in a lifetime experience!
