I’m Gen X, so for me it was like going back in time. Seeing where so many groups that impacted the scene began was a very cool experience. The collection is immense and has so many things you’ll never get a chance to see anywhere else. If you are a fan of Punk, a fan of music, a fan of culture, a fan of history, a fan of humans doing what they love, you have to visit at least once. I highly recommend going to the Punk Rock Museum.

Currently on a solo trip from the UK and The Punk Rock Museum was at the top of my list and it didnt disappoint I took a guided tour with Ryan Key from yellowcard it was incredible. There's some really great memeoribillia to look at. I will definatley be back if I return and I will always recommend to friends and family if they visit 🤘🏻
It's a must go either you're punk fan or not
An excellent collection of photos and memorabilia from the 70's to present. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, it even has interactive section where you can plug in a guitar from various bands and let rip. We had the added bonus that it was the first day of Motorhead exhibition so was able to plug in Lemmy's base through his original Marshall rig, a near God experience.
We visited while in town for Metallica. We are also Punk Rock fans, and I'm a huge Motorhead/Lemmy fan, so when I saw a brand new MH exhibit opening, we had to go. It exceeded my expectations. So must exceptional West Coast Punk memorabilia and ALL of the workers are so fun and helpful. We loved hanging at the bar chatting with our awesome bartender. There was a couple from Australia getting married in the chapel. The MH exhibit was EPIC. Thank you for a great experience 🤘🏻🖤
We were in Vegas to see the Queens of the Stone Age and we had been recommended to visit The Punk Rock Museum. The night before we went, I looked on the website, checked out the musician tours, found that Nick Oliveri was miraculously on the list and (even better) that his tour coincided with the day we had planned to visit!!! The tour was so much fun, with Nick keeping us entertained for almost 3 hours. After he talked us through the memorabilia and made it all come to life with anecdotes throughout his career, he took us into the jam room where he played some favourites and audience requests. It was so fun and intimate and I still cannot believe that this actually happened to us!!! Highly recommend if you are a music fan. Great little bar afterwards too!
Museum was cool. Guest tour was cool (Laura Jane Grace from Against Me!). Rest of the experience was trash. We were there to see a friend's band play (Amerikan Made and Faith Among Filth). The museum delayed the performance by 2.5 hours so we had to wait around. When they finally went on, like 10 people got kicked out because a bartender decided to get too close to the mosh pit of 5 people, got pushed once, and took offense. Guess we were too punk rock for the Punk Rock Museum. If the staff doesn't want things to get out-of-control, consider keeping staff out of mosh pits, sticking to the schedule agreed to with bands, and maybe don't hold live performances if you can't handle it.
Our daughter is a huge punk fan and loves NOFX, so it was only fitting that we visited the Punk Rock Museum on our last trip to Las Vegas. I was impressed by the collection — it was great seeing items spanning all the different genres of punk, including a moving Tony Sly memorial, an big exhibit dedicated to Social Distortion, and a display showcasing the New York punk scene. They even have a jam room where you can play instruments donated by punk bands, which was a highlight for our daughter. Everyone who worked there was incredibly knowledgeable, and the gentleman working the bar (Blue Hair) was wonderful to talk to.
We had such a fun time on our tour. I recommend the guided tour, there’s always a surprise artist to take you around. The staff are all friendly and cool. We spent time in the bar after. It was a great way to spend a few hours of Vegas time.
This museum is actually pretty cool. It has a small collection, but what they do have is amazing. So much memorabilia from when punk started in the 70s up until today, along with some explanations of the decades and different cultural movements. Being a 90s-00s kid, it was pretty cool to geek out on some Green Day, blink-182, Yellowcard, The Offspring, etc. stuff in that section. The museum begins on the 1st floor but make sure you go upstairs to finish it off. Upstairs also has some cool art you can purchase, a tattoo parlor, and a jam room where you can play actual artists' guitars. Downstairs also has a gift shop and bar. The people that work there are pretty chill and helpful. It took us about an hour or so to go through everything.
we loved it!! my friend didn't know a lot about this genre but she does now! the bar was great, super fun. the information and memorabilia was insane! it was a great value for the ticket price and covered a lot. nice layout. staff was super nice. it was suggested to us by a bartender at Golden Gate and we are super happy we did this. have already recommended to others!
great! Even better if you are a true punk rocker!
Awesome experience! Took my wife to check it out…we’ve been local for years and have talked about going for some time but never did. Super happy we made it in! The place is huge with an impressive amount of exhibits. I got to sit on Mike Ness’ studio couch and check out flyers, instruments, outfits, and equipment from decades of punk rock evolution. Truly incredible. We’ll def be back with our kids.
I can not say enough good things about the guided tour with local. We were lucky enough that Rob Rokus was our guide. His passion, knowledge, enthusiasm and maybe best of all were his stories that brought the museum prices to life. Thank you Rob. What an excellent tour.
It was awesome To see so much things of all the bands I like….the staff was super nice really a cool place to go see if your into punk rock and visiting Las Vegas….
Absolutely GO here. Unsung awesome collection of memorabilia and information. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We went in the afternoon and were 3 of a total of 6 visitors. To walk through the museum displays, give yourself an hour. There's a cool bar, too. Unexpected bonus: the bathrooms!
Fantastic experience. The memorabilia is top‑tier, and the guided tour with Scott Ian was packed with great stories. Spent over three hours there and loved every minute. The bar is affordable and a great way to relax afterward. A must‑visit for punk rock fans.
Blown away how deep and vast this collection is. Highly recommend doing a tour. The featured guides are knowledgeable and personable.
The Punk Rock Museum holds an amazing collection of punk rock memorabilia of all kinds, including guitars, clothing, posters, correspondence, and other items from American and British musicians. The vast collection is well-organized on two floors. One unique feature is a private room full of guitars donated by well-known musicians that visitors can choose to play. There is also a great bar and plenty of merch for sale at reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly, and there are often tours led by musicians. Check the website for availability. Groupon often offers discount tickets, but it's still worth a full-price ticket.
British, over 60s lady with my young daughter both enjoying similar music genre but from different generations. This place suited us both!
The Punk Rock Museum is an absolute blast. This hands-on spot is packed with real memorabilia from the Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Clash, and more. The highlight? You can actually play legendary punk guitars and basses in the Jam Room super fun and immersive. They've also got a bar, tattoo parlor, gift shop, and occasional live music. Perfect quick escape from the Strip. General admission is $39. Plan 1-2 hours. Locals get a discount. If you love punk (or just good music stories), don't miss it. Highly recommend!
Attended the shenanigans April 4, 2026 at the Punk Rock Museum’s 3rd Anniversary. Appreciated the added security, everyone was screened. Vegas can be hot, even in April, but there was plenty of shade provided. They allowed ins and outs throughout the event. The 3 Star bar was hoping, outside, $5 beers and seltzers, and some very good food trucks. The bands were very good, not so loud you couldn’t have a conversation with your pals. Spike and the Gimmies played 1 1/2 hours, a great way to cap a stellar weekend.
This was an incredibly fun experience; my husband was the main reason we went here, as this is his favourite genre, he has such an appreciation for the making and the things behind the music. It was not overcrowded, we did it at our own pace, and that was perfectly fine. The gift shop had some fun souvenirs; all in all, a great time for any music lover.
I was afraid it would be another cash grab museum like the Johnny Cash museum in Nashville but it felt very real. Lots of memories. Also odd to see flyers for shows I had gone to
If you love music with grit, history with attitude and spaces that actually feel alive, The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas is an absolute must. From the second you step inside, it doesn’t feel like a quiet, sterile museum. It feels like you just walked into the heart of a movement. Every wall tells a story. Handwritten lyrics, worn-in leather jackets, scuffed instruments and flyers from shows that changed everything are displayed with pride. It’s not polished in a corporate way and that’s exactly what makes it powerful. You can feel the sweat, the rebellion and the DIY spirit that built punk from the ground up. What really sets this place apart is how interactive it is. You are not just staring at history behind glass. You can step into the Jam Room and actually play. You can stand inches from artifacts that shaped generations. It bridges the gap between past and present in a way that feels personal and real. The staff and guides bring an energy that matches the exhibits. Their passion is contagious and their stories make the culture come alive. Whether you grew up blasting punk records or you are just discovering the genre, you walk out with a deeper respect for the artists who refused to follow the rules. In a city known for over-the-top attractions, The Punk Rock Museum stands out because it is authentic. It celebrates creativity, rebellion and community without watering any of it down. It is loud, unapologetic and unforgettable. Las Vegas has plenty of things to see. This is something you experience.
I loved seeing all the great memorabilia but I would have appreciated a little more history of the genre. I’ve always found punk rock an interesting sub genre of rock or hard rock and I think the museum could have made an effort to explain how it came about and how it migrated from lower manhattan to London and then around the world
My wife and I visited recently and had such a great time. The staff was fun and personable, they were everything that is great about punk and hardcore, celebrating differences and brother and sisterhood. The whole experience brought me back to my teens. The drinks were great too!!! A true celebration of the genre. We highly recommend this experience. Thank you so much for having us!!! We loved it!!
Such a cool experience. We did a private tour with Tony Reflex. It was amazing to hear his stories and the tour went longer than scheduled- he even invited us to join the next tour if we wanted to. We will definitely return for another tour. This place is a treasure for punk rock fans!
A great museum filled with lots and lots of fascinating memorabilia! It was especially enjoyable talking to the staff and the other visitors. Included is a picture of Milan who was exceptionally pleasant and helpful!
Loved this museum. It is self guided and there are qr codes you can scan to get info and hear songs. Very well done displays. Brought my husband for his birthday and he enjoyed remembering the bands he saw when we were in HS. Staff was awesome. Bar was cool.
The museum is not too far from the Stratosphere. It is a bit of a sketchy neighborhood. However is is easily accessible by taxi or ride share (and the staff will call a cab for pick up). If you are into punk rock, there is a ton of fascinating information, pictures, stories, instruments (albeit some of them in pieces). Good stuff!
We were lucky enough to have a guided tour with Rob Ruckus and it was incredible! Rob is a wealth of knowledge and has the greatest first hand stories to tell! The museum has so much to look at and was so interesting. I highly recommend a guided tour rather than general admission as I feel Rob’s knowledge really added to the experience.
For you punk rock fans- this is a dream come true! Really great displays of vintage instruments/clothing and much more. The jam room was fun for us guitar players- nice assortment of guitars and amps to plug into and crank out some tunes. Highly recommended for punk fans or musicians of any age.
I've done this tour like 4? Times, once being with Mike himself. Amazing collection and the staff there are some of the coolest people you'll meet. Also, go to the bar as prices are fantastic, the vinyl shop is great, and hell, get married and or tattooed here.
I went to the punk rock museum solo, and had just a great time! I had somehow had an impression that it was small from the photos, but it was two good-sized floors of punk rock history and memorabilia. It was one of my favorite things in Vegas - it was not crowded at all, was not overly expensive (especially for Vegas), and had a great staff. I loved the museum, and it was a ton of fun. I'd recommend having a couple hours available.
Great Punk Museum, clean and secure, great customer service, El Gordo Mike ya no hace drogas ni bebe alcohol lo cual es excelente, Thank you Keith Morris ( Black Flag/Circle Jerks, OFF! ) for the tour, so much great information of all the punk bands you have tour and collaborated with, THANK YOU FOR MAKING A SPACE FOR SOCIAL DISTORTION, one of my favorite punk bands, the Punk Bar is great, good variety of Drinks, specially Brugal( great Ron from Dominican Republic. 100% recommended for all music listeners!
This is a great outing even if you are not a punk rock fan (although that definitely is a bonus). The museum is laid out to allow you to follow the history of punk rock from the very early days in the '70's through it's various evolutionary branches. Don't miss the upstairs exhibits (they are through the very lovely bar) where there are a vast number of musical instruments on display as well as a record store with rarities and Punk Rock Museum exclusive pressings that change on a regular basis. If you are a local, the local pricing is fantastic. We also bought a souvenir cup for use in the museum. It's a pretty good deal, the cup comes with a free drink at the bar that you can upgrade to a 'double' for $4. This is a really fun non-gambling thing to do in Vegas. Check it out!
@thepunkrockmuseum is the best museum. We had a guided tour with Chris Kontos of Attitude Adjustment/Machine Head/Forbidden/Testament... and more. Fascinating and jam-packed with priceless history, layers of art, and the story of music's most misunderstood movement. From self-made expression to commercial acceptance, wherever your punk rock lands there is an artifact worth the visit.
Great time.showing my partner the museum. My second time and its always changing. Drinks in the bar are great, staff are friendly!
Seeing history is always incredible. To see it up close and personal, to touch it, and to even be able to talk to the people who helped shape it? Indescribable. Many thanks to the punk rock museum (and Ruckus) for an extremely cool experience!
If you like punk rock this is your place to go. Even if you don’t like punk rock you should go. I had the fortune or misfortune depending who you ask to have Smelly from NOFX be my tour guide. Amazing tour, big fan of NOFX and of Smelly’s drum style. Only downside of the tour was how quick it went. This is still a positive because I’d of loved to have spent longer listening to smelly’s stories and soaking in all the punk goodness. As you’d expect the tour takes you from the start of punk (Ramones, Stooges, Damned & The Pistols) all the way through DC area, Bay Area, California and Irish Punk. Fun and informative. At the end of the tour there’s loads of cool things to purchase as well. I’m from the UK and couldn’t not visit the museum. I would easily go back.
Small museum, jam packed full of really cool memorabilia from decades of the punk rock scene from all over the world. Definitely brought back memories for me, and probably explained a lot about me to my kids! So cool to actually pick up and play instruments used by punk rock legends, even if I can't play for crap. Would highly recommend getting a celebrity guided tour - so many cool stories, adds a human quality to the exhibits, and they point out things that you might have missed otherwise. Only downside was that our tour guide ghosted us at the end before we had a chance to take photos with him (all the other guides that day were taking photos with everyone) which was a bit disappointing when you are spending a few hundred bucks for the tour. But all in all it was still a great experience, and we will be back for another guided tour some time to get a different collection of stories!
Had a guided tour with Jaret from Bowling for Soup. He was knowledgeable and lots of fun. So much awesome stuff to see! I didn't get a tatt but bought some cool vinyl and a yummy cocktail.
Two hour guided tour with Kevin Lyman. Could not have been better. He was engaged, knowledgable and gave a history of punk as only he could. 100% recommend
Such a thoughtful and beautiful curated collection of punk memorabilia. Highly recommend one of the guided tours. A must visit attraction for any music fan!
My punk rock loving wife dragged me to it. :-) Damn good decision. Saw so many acts and read tons of stories posted. Loved the live concert recording of the Offspring! Spent a good 2 hours there and had a drink in their bar. At a $21 special Groupon price this was the best tour deal in Las Vegas.
Took my wife and kids on my birthday because we're all fans of the genre. The people there are extremely nice and hospitable. I really liked the guitar room where you get to play instruments from the bands. My son was stuck on Wesley Willis's keyboard. The exhibits are very interesting and thorough and introduce fans to lots of fun experiences from the punk scene. It's an awesome homage to the DIY spirit of punk!
Got to do the Guided Tour. Take a look who's coming up, pick a date and do it. We took a tour with Joe Escalante as our guide. It was perfect. Great stories, shout out to Rob Ruckus in the jam room, everyone at the bar and the whole experience.
We’ve wanted to visit since it opened. We were seeing The Vandals on a Friday and saw that Joe Escalante, their bassist, was doing a guided tour the following day. We decided to pay the extra money for the guided tour and it was worth every penny, and then some! Joe was great! If you’re a fan of punk rock music, I highly recommend.
Was in Vegas to visit family and had a few spare hours one afternoon. Saw a ad for the museum on my Facebook feed. Arrived at museum and parked but we were in a staff only space. A staff member came out and helped us park. Fantastic layout to easily navigate the history of punk. Ramones, Clash, Sex Pistols, Green Day….the exhibits were fun and interesting. I’m temporarily in a wheelchair with a broken bone in my foot and my husband was wheeling me around. The elevator was broken but I managed to walk upstairs where the exhibits continued. There’s also a tattoo parlor, a jamming room and a great display of art for sale! I meant to ask if I can buy the Debbie Harry painting on line! Because of the lack of chairlift, we were comped a couple of t shirts! Great staff, great time….totally recommended.
